you can use FM radio only when connected with wired headset. What I do to listen to my bluetooth speaker is, connect bluetooth speaker to device and plug wired headset in to FM to start FM, enjoy.
Why would you say that there is no way to do that?

what you say is correct but it's a trick... I wonder why you cannot turn on the fm radio without the earphones in.

Because earphones act as antenna for FM. I don't know the logic but that's how it is.

that's exactly what I was thinking!
i need to try with a 3,5mm plug without a cable attached.

FM Radio

hello
is there any solution to run FM radio without headset
i know that the headset is the Antenna
but if i am verry neer from the signal source (2m) i think that i did't need Antenna!!!
I really want to know if there's a way to use the FM Radio without the headset too.
FM Radio without the headset
+1
I would like to have it for a long time !
What I have, is the MiniUSB adapter for the headphones, so I can use ordinary headphones in the phone, this is identical to what I have:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Headphone-Ear...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
When this is plugged in, even with no headphones plugged into the end, it still thinks the headphones are plugged in and therefore I can listen to the FM Radio out loud when this little adapter (about 2" long) is plugged in.
Hello,
Actually i think its a big problem....
I bought a Motorola S9 (bluetooth headphone), its arriving in a few days...and im concerned about this...
thats all
It'd be good if there could be a built-in ariel so that the headphones don't have to be the ariel. My iPod earphones are shocking.

Any response is welcomed
Thankyou!
I have one made by VR Tech that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It came with a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter cable and I use it to listen to music and watch movies.

You need adapter cable. But if you connect jack 3,5 mic excluded and you can't talk with a phone. Simple solution possible is create a cable with microphone and you can talk and listen mp3 and video's audio.
i attached schematic diagram
Another solution using parrot bluetooth module. In this case using bluetooth for phone talking and a2dp audio provided from the phone. I have sony autoradio with bluetooth. I talk and listen audio or video from the phone.

It's coming from the radio when the phone is linked to it via Bluetooth.

Maybe a silly question, but have you tried in a different car? I have major problems with static and BT in one car, regardless of power port, but in my wife's van it is smooth. Drives me nuts.

offline radio streamer

Is there any offline radio FM streamer to car stereo and if possible, maybe im wrong any signal jamer (disturber) for nearby car radio fm
thanks
The phone would be required to have an FM transmitter in it, which the Evo 3d does not. Actually, I don't think any android phone out right now has an fm transmitter.

Actually there is a fm transmitter thats available, you plug your phone through the head phone jack into the fm transmitter, transmitter is plug into your 12volt port, just configure the same stations on both the transmitter and your car stero and you are good to go, use it in my car as my 05 mazda has no bluetooth, sounds pretty good too, I play my saved music from my phone through the transmitter, and I have a booming stereo
sent on my Evil Evo running the colonel special herbs and spices kernel

Xperia P - stream music to car radio?

Hi all,
I have a very old car radio and my cds stopped working. I was wondering if my phone can transmit fm to the car radio? If yes, which app? Of no, can i buy some transmitter that i could first connect to my phone and then transmit to car radio?
It would be even more awesome if i could transmit internet radio from phone.
Thanks!
Edit - Never mind

Right....sorry about that. I'm ill so i got a bit confused.
Anyway, any useful info?
In my opinion fm tx-ing is very crappy, it would be better for you to change your old car radio in a less old car radio with an AUX in jack.
Then you will be able to connect your phone via a coaxial stereo cable 3,5mm jack from your phone to the car radio jack.
Audio quality will be for sure better that way, even if a bit more expensive (with 50 euros or less you'll find some entry level car radio with aux in jack) then buying a Chinese FM transmitter.
You're probably right...still maybe someone tried something that works good and is cheap to get.
If i can' t find anything, i'll go for a radio exchange option.
Thanks
