I like the new launcher for the G5 and stylo 2 i just wanted to share my finds. I downloaded a kdz for the european stylo and extracted the system image.First make sure u make a backup. To get the launcher to work on Metro stylo (t mobile mm rom ) I pushed the lg home apk , lg theme optimus apk, and lg home selector apk to system/privapp. Also delete the lg theme optimus in system/app folder. Make sure you set correct permissions for the apps and the foldershttp://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5-gAih33qiTa3VlWldDV0lYQ2M

Whats the dofference in the two versions? Does the LG G5 UI add anything over the LG G Stylo UI?

I'm confused what phone this is for? You''re posting in the LG G Stylo forum, but talking about the G5 and Stylo2 then talk about getting a kdz from a european G Stylo. Could you be a little more specific as to what phone you have, what model the KDZ was from, and what the heck you are trying to do?

How did you make it work? Did you move just the apk or the odex to? I moved both apk and odex exactly as instructed, change the permission to rw-r-r but no luck..

I hope that I'm not stepping on any toes but I made a flashable zip for this launcher if anyone is interested.. It has Smart Bulletin. One issue that I did notice is LG Weather widget would not load.

I have resized the images and shared ringtones too. Now it perfectly fits our xperia devices. Do check out.
I don't know for other devices,but for Sola the the dimensions should be 960x854

Did you try downloading the new wallpaper pack? It fits perfectly.

It does work in GingerBread.
Download ringtone, notifications, alarm then extract the zip file. After extracting go to the folder of extraction and copy all the files in it to system/media/audio/"Specific Directory". Remember to change permissions of every file to rw-r--r--

Android 5.0.1 lollipop firmware for G pro2 was released a few hours ago and i thought it would be cool to port the firmware to g2 and have the dual window feature on lollipop on g2, which cloudyg2 3.0 doesn't have yet.
Made a few simple modifications based on the g pro2 lollipop firmware and flashed right away and it did successfully boot.
Sadly most of the features except for camera were broken and the only thing i could do was fixing wifi. Too hard for a newbie like me!

Here it is, it's been extracted directly from /system/priv-app and it's stock g pro2 home apk

Sorry, i'm not a developer and i'm afraid i can't...
Instead you can google for ported lg g3 home apk, which is almost same with that of g pro2.
Im not developer too but did you try copy paste method ex. ril libs from f320 to your gpro 2 rom? or if audio not works you can try copy paste some audio libs f320 rom to your ported rom.
btw is your phone Korean f320 or int. d802?

I dont know exactly how i managed to get this, but i ve unzipped QRemote zip for G2 and replaced ONLY stock QuicksetSDK on /system/app (because lg has released the sdk for g2, g3 and other models)

Under personalization on Nougat and older software version there was the option to change the system font and the default font size. For some reason the option to change the font has disappeared while the option to change the font size is still there. Any one else ran into this issue?

I'm going MAD trying to replace the horrid and difficult to read system font for LG Stylo 3. It can't be done under the font option in Nougat. I've tried various font apps that say they are compatible with unrooted phones, but NONE of them have worked. It's infuriating that a simple font style can't be the client's choice without a root.
If anyone figures out how to do this, PLEASE help us!!

Have you tried going to the LG theming app? I found I was able to change the font under the HTC theme standalone app

Yes, it doesn't change the system font. I still see the horrid outline font across my apps including my text messages. I wish I could share a screen shot here from my computer, but this thing here asks for the url??

Ok, go to Settings - Network - Mobile data - there the two sims appear, a section appears to activate or deactivate the mobile data.

All LG V30 can be Bootloader Unlocked and Rooted -- and there are ROMs. Do you not see them in the development section here?

Pretty sure dual 4g volte would work only IF LG gives an update for it.
No custom ROM or tweaks could enable that afaik.

Yeah, I only answered part of his question. If he's interested in VoLTE for Indian H930DS, then he's not interested in AOSP custom ROMs.
Still, he can bootloader unlock and root.
