Customization Version doesn't Match Active Customization. Device won't update. - Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooti

Hi guys,
I'm normally pretty good at finding answers but I've been searching for a few days and haven't found a solution to my problem.
I have a Rogers (Canada) SGP621. In the *#*#7378423#*#* menu, I see:
Customization Version: 1291-0899_R11C (This aligns with what I expect for this device and what is in my build.prop)
Active Customization: 1290-7248_R10C (Can't find any info anywhere about what variant this is for).
When I connect the device to Sony Companion and try to recovery the device, I get "Error code: UELoginAuthenticationFailed". After some digging around, I found one guy complaining on Sony forums that he can't update his device and that his Customization and Active Customization versions are different. The only response he got back was "you must have flashed something strange, this shouldn't happen."
I performed a full FTF flash of my device to the latest 1291-0899_R11C Rogers firmware, which is 23.4.A.1.200 / R11C, as per XperiFirm, however after everything boots up I still have this 1290-7248_R10C customization active.
Does anybody have a solution to fix my problem and get my active customization to align with my device? Or perhaps have any of you run into this problem in the past?
I've tried using the "Reset Customization" in the *#*#7378423#*#* menu with no luck. I've tried a factory reset with or without my SIM in the device and also no luck.
EDIT: Little more info, if I connect to Sony Companion with device off while holding down volume down (Flash mode), I get a different error when trying to recover device: "Error code: UEGetPhoneInfoMissingInfo
SGP621 #### 1291-0899 R11C 23.4.A.1.200"
Thanks in advance!

[Q] i9300 Servicemode no UMTS?

Hi,
I am attempting to do a free unlock which is supposed to work on i9300 devices.
However, I tried two ROMs:
I9300XXBLH3_I9300DREBLH1_DRE (original DREI ROM from Austrian provider) version 4.0.4
and
I9300XXDLH9_I9300OXADLH9_I9300XXLH9_BTU (older leaked 4.1.1 version, not "DREI")
And yet, in the service menu, when I enter, I am supposed to get the UMTS menu, but I don't. Instead, my main menu is:
1. Debug Screen
2. Version Info
etc.
Also when I get up to Network Lock, I get menu not exist, press back key, current command is 186.
I could pay 15€ for the unlock, that is not the problem, however I do wonder why I don't get the same menu as everyone else out there!?
Thanks

Just FYI: I never managed to unlock it myself. Paid 15€ via SamMobile, downloaded their tool, run unlocker and it's now 100% unlocked.

Xperia x10i Radio capability lost, How to Repair if possible

Hi
I believe that my phones radio capabilities may be disabled. I tried to root my phone but ended up flashing it with an ftf file and now i cant connect to my mobile network with my phone, Ive tried multiple simcards and flashing my phone a few times with different ftf files.
Everything else on my phone seems to be working fine except ability to connect to mobile network carrier.
I cant unlock the bootloader or use s1tools because it cant recognise the certificate or something like that, I can flash and root the phone though.
can i save my phone and how?
Hi
Today i flashed and rooted my unlocked xperia x10i with flashtool and the provided .ftf file, "X10_V1_BLRelock.ftf". Pretty much after that my phone had been reset and i couldn't connect to my mobile network.
During the initial setup after the flash, my phone asked me to "Please insert sim card and restart your phone", Now in the drop down bar is has a "No service, selecting network (yes optus) is unavailable). Originally with this phone and my x10a the other networks had a red circle indicating i couldn't access them however right now i can try to connect to all of them but fail. everytime i try to connect i get the message "Your simcard does not allow connection to this network". My APN list is blank but it has always been blank.
My simcard works in another phone, other simcards dont work in my phone. I tried flashing my phone again and rooting it again, with multiple ftf files. I was going to try installing another rom for jellybean, but i cant because my adb drivers are stuffed and ill figure that out later if need be.
I live in australia and the imei is fine, hasnt changed and im not even sure if that would effect the phone from functioning here. I have no idea is its affected the phones radio or frequencies if supposed to function on, help would be greatly appreciated.
I cant receive or make phone calls, texts messages, anything that relies upon me being connected to my carrier. everything else seems to work fine including my home internet. i also used that *#*#4636#*#* and that didnt really tell me anything i dont think.
Phone: Xperia x10i, unlocked
Running: android 2.3.3,
baseband version: 2.1.71
If you require any other information, ill post it up, not that sure what would be needed to figure this out.

Stock phone app foolishly removed, IMEI no dissappeared

I bought a new Lenovo A806 (original version android 4.4.2 - build VIBEUI_1432_ST_A806).
There were lots of Chinese writings imbedded in the rom and apps so I rooted the phone and tried to disable some apps and stupidly removed the stock phone dialer and contacts. Then whatever replacement app I tried from the Google play store did not work.
The replacement dialer gives me the message:- “You have removed/disabled Stock phone application, its required to properly functionality.” (pardon the Chinese English)
The phone cannot read the sim card and the IMEI number has disappeared. Following forum advice, I installed “mobileuncle” but cannot insert the IMEI number manually. When I go to Engineer mode, CDS information and try to go into Radio information, I get the message - “Unfortunately, Common Data Service has stopped.” So I cannot even go into Radio information.
I researched on the internet and tried to change the Rom. I installed the required version of TWRP recovery and after trying a few Roms, I managed to get Version VIBEUI_V2.0_1508_7.85.1_ST_A806 installed.
This version behaves better but still no IMEI number. Instead I get a different message – IMEI invalid.
When I try to call, I get this message: - “To place a call, first turn off Airplane mode”
But Airplane mode is off. But at least the dialer seems to be working and I am able to add contacts.
And I can get to radio information from mobileuncle with this version but when I type the IMEI number after the ST.., I get the message: “This command is not allowed in userbuild”
Even with a space between the ST and +, it still does not work and I get a different message, “at command is failed to send” I even rebooted after inserting the IMEI number and still no joy.
However, the wifi seems to be working on both above version and this.
I have a backup of the original corrupted rom so if anyone has a solution for either one, please help.
I installed the rom’s through TWRP recovery which is on my phone. I press volume and on/off buttons to enter into this.
I tried to install a flash tool and all the required drivers on my computer, I am using windows 10. I cannot seem to get the flash working.
Fixed
I managed to get the "SP Flash tool" working on my Windows 10 computer and that worked. Everything fixed. Thanks.

Cant find any networks

Greetings,
after I lost on my xperia m4 aqua signal and couldn't connect to any network I went to *#*#4696#*#* and checked if radio is on and modified networks to GSM/CDMA auto (PRL), I got it back for some time, but after that it stopped receiving any signal again. While searching around in menus I selected USA Band (the only one in menu, thought it is OK to click it, as there wasn't even back button -.- ), it still didn't work. I read on forum some users lost reception after changing band. After which I proceeded by flashing original firmware (I relocked bootloader and used Sony PC Companion), which didn't solve my problem. The next step I choose was to flash modem.sin using flashtool from firmware downloaded through xperifirm (for my country, my mobile and same operator), but I still cant connect to any networks and when I try to find any, even tho my IMEI is correct, but I receive message: "Error while searching for networks". I am now completely lost as to what to do next, so I created this thread in hopes of getting assistance solving this problem.
EDIT:
My sim card is working in other phones, but in this phone doesn't work any sim. 1st I lost LTE signal only and could use 3G, 2 days ago only EDGE was working, but now I can't get any signal. I wasn't doing any modifications to system in-between. Does it mean my antenna is probably dead?
As i have no idea how to attach files, I put all of them to my google drive shared folder and here is link (spaces inserted, hope mods wont get triggered and delete it):

Rooted a Z5C, but several images caused "No Sim, No IMEI" Errors,

So, I had some microphone problems with a newly-purchased Xperia Z5c, got a load of lip from Sony about it not being under warranty at all, due to it having been "manufactured outside the US", and tore into them with the knowledge that no Sony Xperia phones are made in the USA. They folded, and sent me a new one, different IMEI, and the US model, the E5803.
So, I rooted the phone, but several of the "latest versions of android available via Flashtool's excellent "XperiaFirm" facility left me in a "No Sim, No IMEI" situation. I had to settle for a Marshmallow (32.2.A.5.11) version to avoid this. But somehow, I now have a phone that claims that it is a E5823 (non-USA) running Android 6.0.1 rather than a E5803, so I cannot restore my TA partition to the phone.
The good news in the above is that simply flashing a different OS image fixed the problem, there was no permanent damage despite the scary-looking lack of a modem and a SIM with the "bad" (or somehow incompatible) images.
Also, Flashtool refused to allow me to flash any of the E5803 versions of Android, claiming that my phone was a "E5823".
The questions that result are as follows:
1) How does Flashtool determine the model number for E5803 vs E5823 ?
2) How does one convince FLashtool to ignore model numbers and let one load what one wants?
3) I can understand how flashing a new OS image might change the model number, but are there any E5803 images out there that work? I sure could not find one.
4) Is there any way to restore a TA partition to a phone that has been "upgraded" from a E5803 to an E5823?
Thanks!
