Stock or lite ROM?

I have read about asking for the better/faster ROM... But my question is a bit different... I have some battery issues...so i thought that could be a reasonable solution finding a very stable ROM and remove all apps and services apart from phone, mesagges, browser and whatsapp...so...i'd like to ask what ROM could be the best for this aim? Stock one? Cm official (9 i believe)? Or someone else? (I don't need an higher android version...just stability, speed (in this normal action) and surely battery life...)
Thank you for answers

Sorry, but eventually your question leads to asking which is the best, stable ROM & we can't be partial to our developers.
Ok...i understand...thanks

[Q] [XU] Quickest, more stable ROM

Hi all, today was a great day for me: I ordered my 8Gb Moto G on Amazon to replace my beloved XU.. I really like my phone but it's too small for me and it has too little RAM.. My mum's gonna keep it, and of course I want the fastest ROM for her. In your opinion, what's the best ROM in terms of performance, battery life and photo quality? She doesn't care about having the latest version of Android, in fact I was thinking to flash stock GB and root it to do things like deleting useless apps.. What GB ROM do you advice me? Features and looks aren't much essential but, of course, if it's fast and it also looks sweet, it's a win-win [emoji6] Or is stock JB on par with GB? I need your opinions, since I've never used stock GB, I flashed CM9 as soon as I brought the phone home [emoji28]
Thanks to anyone who's willing to help me [emoji1][emoji106]

Well...In my humble opinion, the best rom for her is with no doubt GB I advise you to use the Refreshed GingerBread by evildev...Is amazing, no lags, no hangs, super stable and super fast, everything works JUST FINE The ROM thread is here

If you want ICS instead, I advise you to install SS ROM V4.2 by Diego910 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2575168

Battery problems with 4.4.2 port

Istalled 4.4.2 Sensation v7 with boefla kernel on my Galaxy S3.
I have some problems with battery.
1. Ultra Power Saving Mode.
Before I went to sleep i turned on Ultra Power Saving Mode (a have 32% of battery - 4 days with this mod) I slept about 8 hrs and when I woke up I saw only 18%. So, i think it's not works properly.
2. Low charging speed of battery. About 6 hrs i charged the phone.
Help pls
2. Check charge value on boeffla config app when you charge your phone: it should be 1000mA. If not, your charger or USB cable could be faulty.
Verify that value of charge amperage ac on misc tab is 1000mA.

I'll try on v20 when I get a chance. Thanks for info.
Just as an fyi, I dont know if this will cause any issues or not but I wanted to advise individuals that any of the ux6 items may cause an issue with themes built for the V20.
we have already seen this with a ux6 rom, they are not working anymore on that.
With that being said, its cool if it works and doesnt cause any issues. Im stock, so sadly I cannot try it myself. boo
