Hi Guys,
I found a seller on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Back-rear-c...i-2-3-4-Mi2-Mi3-Mi4-Redmi-Note-/272046963773?
Who is selling the replacement glass for my phone, I have a slight crack along the lens that is causing focus issues when I take photo's,
It's cheap and I want to go ahead and purchase it, however before I Go ahead I need to know if I will be able to easily remove the piece and replace it? Is it just held in there by glue? does anyone know or have any experience in doing a replacement?
I changed camera glass on my Xiaomi Note 1 easily. You just need to open a phone and push glass from other side of holder. Replacement glass has adhesive tape on it. The quality of photos was increased very well. Replacement glass can be found on Aliexpress.

I've noticed that my camera is already a little scratched up and I think a year down the line it may be pretty scratched, can the lens be replaced?
Don't think so. U probably need to replace the whole cam.
Anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to prevent camera lens scratch? I hate having a case on the phone, but if the phone is put on a table the lens is in contact with the surface... would a screen protector work?
I would buy any clear screen protector and make the cutout. It shouldn't mess with the clarity.
I put a clear tape over the camera when its not in use,

I've replaced it before on my HTC HD2. It's not so hard, once the bevel is removed the outer glass falls right out. Got my replacement from Ebay.
Sent from my AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note using the XDA Premium app.
Camera protection is actually one of the main reasons I love the flip cover by Samsung. The replacement back is just a tad thicker than the stock cover around the camera lens and cause it to recess a bit protecting it from surface scratches from just being placed down.
Hello. I have had a galaxy s3 with cracked glass and tried to replace it. I have seen many videos on youtube how to replace it. Basically people on these videos heat the screen and then remove the front glass easily, because the digitizer is glued to the lcd. But when I tried to remove it it came off quite easily, but only then I noticed that the digitizer was glued not to the lcd but to the front glass, so when i tried to remove front glass I accidentally broke the digitiser connector and somehow damaged the lcd. You can see photos here:

I would like to ask, do you know why the digitizer could have been glued to the front glass but not to the lcd? And why the lcd could have been damaged while removing front glass??
I would really wanna know the answer myself, as I ordered one that should have reached yesterday, but as they do not work on weekends, it will be here tommorow, and I don't wanna brake my display forever, especially because mine is not that damaged.
Any ideas?
my advice don't bother with a glass replacement. I HAVE TRIED TWICE and as the op said the digitizer is glued to the front glass. this has been the case with both the original screen and two replacement lcd/digitizer/glass assemblies that i personally took apart. each time the glass was fused to the digitizer . i used a heat gun and a laser thermometer and still i failed. I was successful replacing the whole screen assembly twice . but those cost about $130 from amazon, com. These replacements may seem at first like oem but the ones i got cracked very easily. they dont use the gorilla glass and the quality is not as good. one replacement was really bad in sunlight. could not see anything. after my screen cracked a third time i got a galaxy s 5 . and started using a case and screen protector.
Hey buddies, The screen of my phone got breked. Touch is working. i can use the phone. Is there anyone who knows how to replace the LCD Screen glass and where to find the glass?
https://www.amazon.com/MOTOROLA-Mot...506525321&sr=8-12&keywords=moto+g4+plus+glass for the hard replacement but cheaper, OR
https://www.amazon.com/ePartSolution_OEM-Motorola-Digitizer-Assembly-Replacement/dp/B0713SWNFJ for more expensive but easier drop-in replacement
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Yu7HpzQU2I shows how difficult it is to replace just the glass of the phone
Don't expect Gorilla Glass 3 like OEM but more like cheap glass so next drop, will break again.
I cracked my rear glass and purchased the replacement 'JerryRigEverything' recommended on his how-to replacement video on youtube. Not only did it arrive with a crack, but it has adhesive covering the entire back side and not just the edges. I bought another one on ebay which I just received today and same thing, adhesive covering the entire back (minus the lens and sensors of course), even though the seller assured me the adhesive was only on the edges.
So does anyone have a good source for replacement rear glass that has adhesive only around the edges like the original one?

You can try this one. I think it might have what your looking for. I would just get some double sided tape. I found it works better for me.
Hello, I’ve cracked my Screen on my Mate 20 pro, I’ve ordered my a replacement (not cheap) but can’t find the adhesive for the front LCD... I ordered the Rear glass adhesive... does anyone know if they are the same? Or would I be best just using B-7000 to glue the screen back?
Thanks pigbait
