Make mobile be recognize as a cd-unit on pc - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Recently my photoapp Quickpic deleted by itself my Camera FV-5 videomap, a map which contain alot of videos on my young kids
Recoveryprograms like Recuva dosen't recognize my phone(an unrooted Oneplus One) because it uses MTP instead of USB mass storage.
There are recovery programs for android that works, but the phone need to be rooted to make it work and the problem with my phone is in order to get it rooted I need to wipe the whole phone which will make it almost impossible to get the deleted files back
A memeber on Oneplus One's website told me that his phone was recognize as a cd-unit on his pc(see on the picture below) and he can access the files on it. He dosnt know why and how the pc recognize it as a cd-unit but If someone here know how to I would really appreciate to learn how to make my pc to do that.
I post this in this forum because no one could help me in Oneplus One section and it is a bigger chance to get more replys in this forum section. Hope it is ok

[Q] Can someone PLEASE help me with an app?

I just got security cameras installed at work. wwwdot genivtechnology dotcom is the manufacture. If you search "G4SS" that is the app I'm supposed to use. The app is not compatible with the Thunderbolt. Is it ALL Thunderbolts or just mine? I've talked to some people who said they can pull it up and get the download button. I'm NOT rooted, but I'm running Android2.3.4. Is there a way to download it to my pc then transfer it to my SD card and open it that way??
Thanks in advance.

Starting a phone that hasn't a screen

Hi all ! Mods please move the thread if its wrong place, excuse my inexperience
I have an old phone made in 2014 , LG-P705 . Recently i have realized i had much much important files in it .
Whatever.. The problem is the phone's screen was cracked completely tried to fix it , bought a screen from chinese market then i gave up on it in 2014.
So we have a phone that LCD screen won't work at all. But the motherboard has not taken any damage. I charged the phone and it is alive. It vibrates when i turn it on and off .
i want to boot this phone and take the important files out. Is there any possible ways that we could start it guys ?
I have some ideas but not enough knowledge nor i am geeky about this stuffs. I think we could do a kind of a "mirror" between the Computer and the phone so that we will be able to see the files from the computer. Will it work ? Will we be able to see the files in it from the pc without using the screen ?
I am open to ideas. I need some geeks around here
.

Memup SlidePad 816P - Alwinner A20 weird bootloop

Hello, so 1y ago i tried to root an old tablet of my sister from her middle school, with all the school bloatware on it and it worked, and one time i messed with the recovery and when i rebooted the tablet, its like it was never used and i can't even install a Developer Shortcut app because it tells me that there is no space available (its force to install to the 1gb rom and not the integrated sdcard of 10gb for apps and data, here named SP816P).

Bricked phone solution

Hello All,
I need help, I was searching for Sony Xperia R1 plus hard bricked phone solution. Went on 3-4 years of journey and I'm stuck till now. I've used Xperifirm, Flasher tool everything I found on internet. But, all vent into vain. Sony never publicily released R1 plus rom. I chased them on emails, Twitter, Calls, to release the firmware but being a noob nobody has took me serious. So, to all the developers here I wanna ask for little help. I found a way on one website "https://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f9...us-g2299-hang-logo-done-2619023/#post14707534" but rom here doesn't have .mbn format in it and I was unable to afford UMT_Qcfire to flash the files I got in this website. I know this place doesn't deals with my problems but reading all the stuff up in the comments made be believe experts are here. Is there any way to flash my phone with the files I received without using UMT. I'm attaching screenshot of the ROM I got.

@sbhawani051 , this looks to be structured for QFIL flasher/programmer (flat build). You can search for the software and drivers, or go to these links to download what is necessary for the device to be recognized. I don't know what the loader/board is displaying, is it blinking red LED or can you get it to connect in other modes such as fastboot?
