Hi all,
Is there any roms I could flash for my Sprint Prepaid XT1526 phone?
Yes. CM13 should work out-of-the-box, other ROMs should work as well but might require flashing the LTE fix posted in the CDMA forum.

Hello, noob here.
So as we know lollipop is comming to the Sprint LG G3 on the 16th. Since no lollipop based roms right now work correctly with GSM ( T-Mobile.. etc). Will AOSP roms now work correctly with GSM (like T-Mobile) and recognize GSM sim cards now that Sprint will release an official version?
Or will GSM users like I have to stick to the stock rom or Cloudy 1.2 forever?
Bonus question: Will flashing a lollipop rom meant for the international version (D855 I think?)
give me GSM service? Or will my phone just brick?..
Thank you
You don't have to stick with anything.... Just go get a proper phone for your carrier.
Please reread the 2 questions

Hello,
I bought a refubnished lg g3 from ebay and by a mistake got a verizon vs985 version instead of d855.
now, i was able to open other 4g bands on stock rom using verizon hidden menu,
but is there a way to open 4g lte bands on custom rom?
or there is any custom rom that all 4g bands are open?
or some steps im able to do that finally i will get a custom rom with 4g bands open?
Thanks a lot!
No I don't think so, from what I've read.
I pretty sure it is possible.
when i got the phone it was rooted with custom rom and 4g, though it was a bad custom rom so i replaced it.
More than that, i've seen a video in youtube that parandroid rom open 4g bands with the g2 vs980. so maybe an AOSP rom will do the job, but im not sure which one of them.
anyone?
thanks
what about this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
according to the guide it will enable open 3g and 4g bands.
someone has tried it?

This thread has about the same details but it was easier for me to follow. I did successfully add all bands to a vs985. Proven by having access to band 12 with a T-Mobile SIM in my screenshot.
thanks for sharing your experience.
Can you let us know what rom are you using?
what kernel?
Thanks!
Kernal and ROM do not matter for this method.
Hey guys I bought this Verizon G3 for a friend he wants to give it to his family in Europe.
I downgraded to 23C so far and want to install TWRP etc. On T-Mobile G3 it's much easier as just rooting and using TWRP manager and flashing whatever I want.
Anyways after I flash TWRP I can use any rom I want ? or the rom has to be specific for bootloader for example? on T-Mobile G3 I could flash pretty much any rom but one stock where I needed to flash modem+bootloader, then it worked fine.
Also if it safe to unlock the LTE bands? since the phone would be used in Europe that would be very nice to have European LTE bands.
Thanks!

Not sure I quite understand the context of your question. Going from MM to N Roms should not impact your cell network connection.
i dont understand why it is doing it either but the main question is ifit is cdma or not cause i see alot of xt1526 post in cdma but i am running a sunrai rom and it is working

Surnia is the code name for all variants of the Moto E 2 LTE. Some are CDMA, some are GSM, some overlap. The xt1526 that you have has both CDMA and GSM bands. Other model numbers of surnia are xt1521, xt1527 and xt1528. The non LTE version is code name OTUS. Any surnia ROM is compatible with your device. You may need to reconfigure your APN settings after flashing though - that is the first place I'd look for network issues.
Thinking about the G5 to replace my Moto G (2015). I use the AT&T network via Consumer Cellular. Will the unlocked T-mobile version work on the AT&T network with full LTE support? Will probably install a custom ROM and I understand you can't do that with the AT&T version of the G5. Thanks.
