Hi guys, i have this problem:
buy a HTC One M9 apparently sprint but insert gsm SIM CARD no show me signal only message "no service",
the phone is unlocked and I can receive and send CALL/SMS but no Data because there is no option to put apn.
Unlock bootloader and install twpr but do not let me install any rom.
the model is OPJA200
in software info show CW = OPJA200_nTelos
Any idea what I can do?

Can anyone tell me if 5.71.09.02a Radio works on the Australian network?
I have loaded 2 different roms currently deepshinning v3.0 and I am unable to get any mobile reception or data.
When I try and select the network manually it appears as scan unsuccessful.

- Further more, where HTC Mozarts branded by Telsra released in Australia network locked?
My Mozart currently has deep shinning v4 and will work with a Telsra sim card but will not work with a VodaFone sim card. Although I am not prompted for a network unlock code when start starting the device with a VodaFone sim card.
With Telsra sim card I have full signal and am able to make phone calls / send sms.
With VodaFone sim I do not receive any signal, therefore I am unable to send / receive phone calls / sms.
Lets start with the device: Motorola Photon (sprint) had a bootloader unlocked, root and CM7.2 rom (v. 2.3.7).
Today I put a new sim card (that works fine with other phones) and when I turned the phone on and went to change the apn and operator network, iv noticed that there are both missing.
All I have is new options about CDMA network (CMDA/EvDo) and changing roaming of CDMA (Home , Automatic).
Tried any combination, nothing helps...
I also tried other sims and also the older sim Iv used few minutes before, same problem...seems like the phone has locked again or something.
When I turn it on there is a "unlocking" message while the motorola logo shown, so I have no idea what it could be....
Im not from the U.S so I cant connect to their networks....
// also there is no "insert sim card" message, so the sim card not the problem.
Anyone knows what could be the problem? there is any way to 'reset' the operator settings or something.. or any other way that won't need to 'format' the device .. ?

Well, I tried to wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik-cache, then install the same rom again.. seems it dosn't help or done something...
What else could it be?
Should I wipe something else and try other rom?

Iv also noticed that the IMEI has changed to MEID...
as the title said, is it possible?
i manage to unlock IS12M (XT909) and use GSM sim card. but the problem is no out going sms, i can receive calls/sms.
one problem is on lock screen it says "No UIM card" in it but it does recognize my gsm sim card.
i have rooted my phone, install BMM, full backup including cid.

It has been awhile since I've been on here. I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section (this forum has changed so much over the years).
Anyways, I am currently a T-Mo customer and just got a Metro PCS Samsung Galaxy SGH-M819N because I thought I could simply flash a rom that would allow me to use T-Mobile sim card. However, it turns out that it may not be that simple.
Can someone advise whether or not I am able to unlock the sim (without paying it through sites such cellunlocker.net) via flash? If so, would you be kind to direct me to the site or page which gives directions?

I am ended buying an unlock code via eBay for $14.99. I enter the code and the phone no longer asks for SIM unlock code BUT now it does not register with any carriers.
i inserted my t-mo sim card into the phone, go to settings, and tried to automatically and manually connect to the tmobile network but keep getting the "unable to connect at this time. try again later" message.
i contacted tmobile via chat and provided imei number and sim card number but was still unable to connect.
i flash backed to stock firmware 4.4.4 and still no luck.
i checked my "device info" and under "phone status" it shows my phone number assigned to the sim card but not connecting to service provider.
Any ideas anyone? Please help.

I am able to connect with the stock Metro PCS apn.
I am also able to use TMO apn as well.
Make sure the apn is correct.
Go to more networks and then mobile network.

I have a Huawei Mate 2 from Freedom (Wind) Mobile. I have updated it to Lollipop 5.1 by unlocking the bootloader. In fact I made a guide for it a while back.

Recently in Canada the cellular service providers are forced by law to give us an unlock code for free. After unlocking the phone would work with any service provider. This phone has a pretty big battery and would be ideal for a travel or backup phone.
I successfully got an unlock code from Freedom (which was pretty easy). I then put in sim cards from another provider (Koodo, Fido, etc). However the screen for me to enter the unlock code never popped up. It just say "no service".
I tried to manually set it up, by clicking the notification. "No Service: Selected network (Telus 3G) unavailable". However it won't register. Neither did the unlock code entering screen ever pop up.
And under data settings it say no SIM card. However the phone works perfectly when I insert my Freedom SIM card. But when a foreign SIM card was inserted it just say no SIM.
My question is has anyone been able to unlock this phone under Lollipop 5.1? How did you get to the "Enter Unlock Code" screen?
I also wonder if anyone has any luck unlocking with the original Android 4.3. If someone did, maybe I should flash the phone back to its original OS.
