[Q] Android Capacitive Buttons - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
Is there, any solution to add sound feedback for the capacitive buttons of an adroid device? I would like that the capacitive buttons make the same sound as touching the touchscreen. I have noticed that Samsung devices have that already on their TouchWiz. Thank you.

[Q] i9100 (Galaxy S2) How to make capacitive buttons react on release intead of press

Hi, I've oserved that the capacitive touch buttons on the SGS2 doesn't behave like the touch screen one's. In the touchscreen yo must press and release to make them act. Instead of this, the capacitive one's act instalntly on press, causing lot's of accidental presses.
I would like to change the behaviour of the capacitive buttons to perform only on release instead of press. Any idea how to do that???
Thanks!

Capacitive buttons not responding

I'm running CM7 and up until recently had an intermittent problem with the home/menu/back/Search button not responding. Usually it went away but now it is stuck not responding.
I verified it is a hardware issue by using twrp 2.0 and the buttons dont register there either so i ordered a replacement touch screen.
Hopefully that will fix it but my question is in the mean time is there any kind of app that will put navigation on the screen like a honeycomb tablet?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
For anyone with a similar situation SoftKeys and Button Savior both give onscreen buttons.
I have the same problem, even started a thread here:

[Q] Reduce Brightness of Capacitive Buttons

Hi Guys!
I have a white international I9300 and one of the few issues I have with it is that the backlight for the back/menu capacitive buttons is too bright and 'leaks' past the buttons. I'm wondering if there is any way to reduce the brightness level of the capacitive buttons backlights???
Running RGUI MIUI with siyah kernel.

[Q] How can I disable lock screen with a broken screen?

I need some help, in the morning I dropped my Huawei U8150 IDEOS and since then the screen has not responded, although the hardware buttons (call and end buttons, volume control) and "trackball" is still working.
Is there a way to disable the touch screen (I can't get pass through it with the hardware buttons) while I find a way to fix the screen?
I'm using CM7.2, I was also wondering how to remap the call and end buttons
Thanks in advance
