I've done all kind of wipes and i've tried different ROMs but I can't solve this problem. The dual-flash stops working using the camera or torch. All hardware tests are correct, and i've opened the phone to look for dust or something like this but it's ok. I show you in this video, for example this time it happens with camera but other times it's with torch, and often occurs before. Can anyone help me?? Thanks!!!

my 5 months old Xiaomi 2S keeps crashing from time to time.
I use the stock battery and the geman miui 4.3.14.
Android Version is 4.1.1 JRO03L
The crashes mostly appear Ehen i carry it in my pocket.
Uts not getting that warm so i dont think its a Temperatur Problem.
I also tried a different battery.
I also made a factory reset and installed just a few apps.
I habe also a log made with catlog. Every single action is saved to the sd-card.
Maybe someone of you knows this kind of problem an can help me.

Yesterday, I successfully bootloader-unlocked, and rooted my M4 Aqua (E2303). When I did bootloader-unlock, I didn't test the camera app, but after rooting the phone with a .zip package meant for rooting this device, camera app shuts off itself. I did use the camera today, after yesterday's rooting, and it was OK. Also, it's on front-facing mode, and I can't change it, because it's closing too fast. And I have to mention, that the phone is very cool, not even warm, and I did try rebooting it a few times - no luck. But interestingly, I can run AR effects app, and it sometimes closes, but sometimes opens, and I can take photos. No luck for the standart camera app. Have anyone encountered a problem like this? Please leave your thoughts of the problem down below. (Sorry for my average English, not my native one :silly
Edit: Also, forgot to mention, that I have Xposed v80 API 21 installed on the phone, but without any models activated.

Hi. Since some days I experience this strange zoomed in previews in 3rd party apps using the camera, like Telegram, Whatsapp and so on.
The picture taken by the apps is correct, however it's quiet hard to get the right frame because of the zoom factor during the preview.
Anyone out there experiencing the same? Any idea what I could do?
(stock firmware, no root)

what camera are you talking?! if youare talking about the front camera maybe is the conflict the apps do because i have the same issue with videocall with skype, sometimes is zoomed sometimes is closer because the app doesnt know exactly the dual camera config of this particual phone.
So, if you are talking about rear camera, sorry i cant help you...because i never have this issue.
I talk about the rear camera. However, the solution was to clean the cache of the camera app and to restart the phone.
Now everything works fine again.

Hi there!
I have tried like 15 oreo roms and I always end up with my camera app crashing or freezing entire phone.
I don't use camera ports, just stock apps. It works fine at the beginning but after a day or so it starts to crash and freeze.
Did anybody have similar problems? What can be causing this kind of behavior? Do I need to upgrade anything (firmware maybe?) to run oreo without problems?
Same thing for me, i even had a problem that my photos were not saved, but I tried using Camera MX today, works ok without crashing and freezing for now.

I have a problem and I can not find the solution, I often hear music directly from the browser, the music from the browser with the screen off is cut when I spend about 7 or 8 minutes. I have tried with several browsers but it follows the same problem. I followed some comments saying that it is necessary to put the lock in the section of recent applications and I have also put the option "No restrictions" in the section of the battery for each of the browsers.
After these tests I have been unable to get the music to play from the browser without being cut.
Do you have any solution to this problem? Does anyone know what can I do?

I think that it is the Doze function of Android that is putting the browser to sleep. I don't know the exact location of "battery optimisation" in the F1, but you can search for it in the Settings and choose "not optimised" for the browser. You may also have to do the same for the music player which plays your music.
