Hi, i have redmi 3 pro, it came with distributor rom, so ihad to flash it to stable china 7.3.2.0 , but after that it lost the vibrate function, ive read several thread mention they lost imey etc, so maybe this is the same issue? anyone knows how to fix it? thanks in advance...

i searched for a solution bu reading a lot of topic, but i didn't found something really working for my problem, i was on GB rock with Bootlocked, and one day wifi and bluetooth was not working, yesterday i have unlocked BL and flash a new rom (Miui V5 from this forum), the wifi and bluetooth still not working ..
there is a way to fix this problem ? flashing a specific kernel ?

i did a test by flashing a different kernel and rom, same problem.
then i flashed stock TFT with flashtool and same probleme wifi and bluetouth can't be turned on.
any ideas ?

I'm Sivaram from India. I have rooted my Redmi note 4 and flashes a new ROM. After few days my mobile fell down and damaged worstly.
I give it to service centre. They replaced display but it was not working properly. After that they changed ROM to miui
Then it was showing just "unlocked". Nothing more than that.
They are saying that it's happening due to ROOTING the device and didn't find any suitable solution for this.
Please anyone help me to sort out this problem.

I don't want to root (if that even solves the problem) to use this tablet.
I tried all the options from weeks now...actually more than 1 month.
called LG , Google and t mobile....no help

You ever fix the issue? I can probably be of assistance because I've bypassed frp on a ton of different devices and could use the stock firmware for an issue I'm having with my own V530 as well.
Seems there is absolutely NO development, TWRP.CWM/Philz recovery, custom ROMs, or even the stock firmware online and I've searched for 3 solid weeks now for anything that would fix the issue were experiencing with this cursed tablet lol

i need your help. Since a few days i cant activate the wlan toggle on my phone. I didnt do anything, just deactivated wlan, and couldnt activate it again. After searching for solutions, i found out that its a relatively common problem, and that my bluetooth also does not work.
If i understood it correctly, i need to flash the persist.img from a fastboot rom to the persist partition. The problem is i cant do that, since my phone is still locked. When trying to unlock it, i get the error code 20091.
I also tried to to modify the flash_all.bat with persist like i have seen in an other tutorial. Then flash it witch the mi flash tool.
This also didnt work.
Then i installed twrp 3.02 zcx to get root, to delete the data/misc/wifi folder and the persist folder. This didnt work out too.
I read a lot of posts in the redmi note 3 forum, but there are a lot of dead links to the official forum.
Writing this topic this forum shows me similar threads from other phones. I will look into that now.
But maybe someone of u had the same problem, or can give me some tips to progress?

Wifi and Bluetooth dead is common issue for miui users on kenzo.
Its permanant damage. U cant re activate it using hacks.
It happens when u regularly updating miui rom using system updater.
Its really not safe to update miui using ota update on rn3. Its safe to use pc for new miui rom.
Kenzo users who stayed on miui rom and updated miui regularly using updater faced this. And Those who moved to custom roms long back dnt have this issue.

New devices are treble based phones. Also good optimized battery friendly.
Ya. U can buy rn8. But buy only snapdragon processor phone. mediatek is crap. Doesnt have custom roms.
Rn8 is SD.
Rn8 pro is mediatek.

i have jio sim in my redmi note 3 . when i call jio numbers which are installed in redmi note 5pro, 7 and 9 i get suddenly a call ended on my calling screen.
i searched and got to know that this problem is with latest and last build of redmi note3 MIUI 10.2 as development for rn3 is stopped.
i tried insatlling 10.1 it didnt work...tried miui9 it didnt work...i think (i can be wrong too) that is the problem with its firmware. so how can i downgrade the firmware...or what else should i do to get it resolved..??
KINDLY HELP ME.

We cant fix it. Its old issue. Call xiaomi and tell them ur problem.
had the same issue, the problem is redmi note 3 users cannot call redmi note 7 users who have jio sim.
.sounds like a wierd bug right? if u change the sim to a different phone, you can call them. tried and tested it.
the solution which I used to flash "volte fix" . once you flash this, you can call them.
hit me up, if u were not able to solve it

Facing the same problem, the volte patch by @JamFlux works but it breaks fingerprint function. (FP option disappears from settings menu)

Sorry for a very late reply. My account was locked out.
Problem : RN3 users not able to call RN7 users. But other way around is possible.
Solution : Flash volte fix using TWRP after OS is installed.
Issues : Fingerprint "may" not work.
Below are the attached files.

On a similar note the best OS which supports both volte and fingerprint is : purenexus_kenzo-7.1.2-20170819-UNOFFICIAL . but this OS has issues related to sensors. please check the comments of that thread.

Bro am currently using Nusantara 1.1|LTS|OFFICIAL a10 version does this "volte-fix-v2-pie" capable with this OS.
I have Orange Fox Recovery installed.
I literally have very minor knowledge about custom rom and flashing.
