Hello i've got kind of an issue with my Honor 8 FRD L09: I was recently using Lineage OS 14.1 without any issue. But I decided to go back to EMUI so I used dload method to install B101 update. Everything was ok and then from settings I installed B140. But right now it doesn't provide me any update from settings. I want to reach the last EMUI with Android 6.0
Does anyone know how to install these updates from settings ?
Tried searching on the forum but only found some threads related to mipad 1 and android 8.
I have a mipad 3 on miui 8 with android 7.0, it have been doing alright except for some "Updates has stopped working" which i didnt care for. But i don't have the dual app on this rom so i need to install a miui 9 or higher if i wanted to use dual apps.
Is there any android oreo rom for mipad 3 or still stuck on android 7? I don't think its worth to flash to another rom just to get the dual apps and a few improvements...
You can install xiaomi.it rom.
It supported MIUI10.

I don't know if it supports dual apps.
Xiaomi still updating mi pad3.
However, it is only in the Chinese version. And Android version is still 7.

Maybe it will not be updated to Oreo.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 with non-original screen and after updating it to android Pie it's touchscreen stopped working, after going through a complicated process i managed to downgrade it. I have another device; Samsung A10 with non original screen. As android 10 is already available on A10, i'm afraid to upgrade it because of my past experience. Anyone hear who is using fake/non-original screen and have upgraded to pie?

You can upgrade it to Android 10.
In case, your touchscreen doesn't work, you can downgrade to android 9 on A10 via odin mode.

For A10, android 10 and android 9 use the same binary version, which is version 3.
Therefore, you can downgrade to the latest release of android 9.
The binary version can be obtained from the bootloader's filename found in stock firmware.
The bootloader's filename general format is as follows: BL_A105XXXU3XXXX
U3 is the binary version.
You can compare before you try to flash
Hello,
I have a Ulefone Armor 7E, it came installed with Android 9. Today I wanted to update to Android 10, using the ROMs on the Ulefone Website (Links to a Google Drive).
I found a Warning Message that you should not use the ROM to update your phone ("★Warning★: if your phone is Android 9,you are forbidden to flash Android 10,otherwise your phone must be bricked!!! vice versa
").
So they sell a version of the phone with Android 9 and one with Android 10. I bought my phone (Android 9) this year around april.
Has anyone updated the phone to Android 10, or do you brick your phone if you try to update it?
Thank you in advance,
deecon

Switching from Adroid 9 to Android 10 isn't an update but an upgrade.
You may consider flashing a Custom ROM based on Adroid 10.

Will it work?
I guess there is no custom ROM available for the Armor 7E?
Hello all,
I've been trying to update to Android 8 on my Pro 7, and from what I gathered here and there, there are only beta roms. Which would not be an issue. But when trying to install said rom (Flyme OS 7.8.5.30G), I get the "firmware corrupt" error.
So I have a few questions: is it really possible to have a later Android version than the 7th? And if so, is the 7.8.5.30 version featuring Oreo? Is there already a working procedure that would work on my phone? I've looked at several tutorials and forums with no luck so far.
Here are some additional information on my current setup:
Pro 7 - Model M792H
SoC: Helio P20
Board: PRO7S (mt6757)
Running Android 7 with Flyme 7.1.1.0.G (non-root).
Thanks in advance for any help (I hope I provided enough information though).
Y.
