tot rooted v10 on Lollipop, can put rooted Marshmallow on it ? - LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

If my device is already rooted, why can't we simply get a pre-rooted marshmallow image and pour it on there ?

Probably not. If situation is the same like with G4, then there is 0% chance that we will be able to do something similar with marshmallow system image.
I would be grateful if somebody with unlocked bootloader would dump rooted system with twrp, convert it to tot and test it.

I`ve got fresh installed mm, rooted with xposed. I can make TWRP backup but i won`t play with converting to tot file and testing because my phone works perfect.

ive been trying to root the h900 its going no where though i did inject supersu and su binary from a adb pull system bu tno way to put it back on device for now att is at a stand still until they release the tot

You can root lollipop like me, and waiting for mm root
Will I don't need root for MM, because root lollipop is enough for me & actually I don't see big different between them

Guys, would LG Backup help restoring all your apps with settings if I downgrade to Lollipop from MM? Just like I could with Titanium Backup?
I'm just too lazy to install and tweak all my apps from scratch but apparently I've lost 6 months waiting for root and don't want to wait any longer.

Yes you can restoring all your apps, but not settings because you do backup from different system version (LP&MM)

Of course You can get Lollipop back like me
by using LG UP

ايوا من المارشميلو للولي بوب المروت بدون أي مشاكل
Yes I flash the rooted Room(lollipop) over the stock MM and work fine without any problems

أهم شي أعمل نسخة احتياطية من برنامج
