i love the phone and i dont wanna lose it

It's possible that it's a software problem, but I strongly suspect this is a hardware issue. Sorry to say that RTM may be the only answer!

Like I said, you can't rule out a software issue, but it sounds more likely that there's a physical problem with the USB port and it's making the phone think it's in car mode every now and then. If it were a software issue then I think we'd see a LOT more people with the issue. When you think about how many SGS2 users there are on XDA, and compare that to the number of people who have had this issue you'll see that it's a tiny number really. That definitely sounds more like a manufacturing issue than a software one.

i agree with you actually .. it seems like a hardware problem .. not a software one cuz i literally changed everything on the device .. kernel, rom everything .. but hardware !
let's wish that it's a software problem even if we were 99% sure that it's a hardwore issue ...
thanks again ..

Absolutely! I wish you luck mate.
i restored the orginal rom,kernel
30 mins now no problems yet!
I have the same problem with my Galaxy S2. It started like a week ago or something. I tried to upgrade the firmware to the latest, but it seemed like that only made it worse. I haven't rooted my phone, so I'm obviously using the stock rom. Any tips to what I should try to do? It's a really annoying problem.

Car mode is triggered by a certain resistance value between pin 4 and 5 on micro usb plug, either dirt, oil, sweat on exterior part of it (most likely) or some condensation/oil on the inner part- where it's soldered to the the mainboard.
My advice would be to take out the battery and try to clean it with small brush, contact spray ( make sure it dries out before attaching the battery)....or go to a phone repair center to have the plug cleaned...
it should do the trick
I tried cleaning it with contact spray but it didn't work. Haven't tried using a small brush yet, cause I haven't got one. Any other suggestions or should I just explain the problem to Samsung and send it in?
Edit: Nevermind. I noticed that car mode wasn't popping up later in the evening. I restarted my phone and now it seems to be working perfectly. Thanks for the help!
I have the same problem everytime i use the car charger...but restarting the phone solves this problem atleast till I plug in the car charger.
Same for me. It really bugs me. I'm thinking of RMA.
the problem still on my phone .. i changed everything on my phone .. seems like it's a hardware problem with some devices .. like mine and yours
and i hardly think that we can solve it by our selves .. we need to send it back to samsung and see what they say!

In your 'Voice Talk' settings, under 'Wake Up Command', you may have 'Wake up command & 'Only on while charging' ticked.
I have the exact same problem, does anyone have a definite solution yet?
Me too have the same issue. it starts up while using the wall charger and even if unplug charger it pops up sometimes and my home screen lights up and remain ON causing battery drain. don't know any fix for this yet. can anyone please advise....
thanks
I've had this too when I spilled coke on my table, I think some droplets went on the usb port of my SGS2 that was also on the table.
Same issues happened: Car mode automatically starts, Phone hangs, etc. I've read car mode is triggered when certain resistance in the usb port is met(Just like the 301k for the download mode).
What I did was, I turned of the phone, removed the battery, then inserted a wet/moistened(NOT DRIPPING, water only) cotton on the phone's usb port. Compress the cotton with your finger first so that excess water will come out + the cotton wont have dangling strands. Remove/reinsert cotton until satisfied.
Be sure to let the port dry first before powering it up again.

Hi all, I have the same problem with voice talk - driving mode enables its self and sometimes it says I´m plugged with USB port and phone is charging.
I have had also problem with AUTO START. I´ve switched phone off, and it automatically start on!!
I´ve tried factory reset, disk formatting - 4-5 times, no applications yet and again the same problem with voice talk.
This problem started 2days ago, after one week use.
I have XWKE7 (2.3.3), no root, original from Orange SK and I don´t know what to do now, whether to go to Orange and reclaim.
thanks for suggestions.

I can not turn on the device Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon

hello guys I have a problem with my phone now I can not more to make use of it because after a call has been switched off and every time I try to turn it on after 1 or 2 minutes goes off alone and the phone lags a lot, so I tried it with a reset both TWRP that miflash in EDL mode but the problem persists in fact I can not even get past the initial setup that my phone is restarted promptly, my model is the snapdragon 650 version 2 gigs of ram, does anyone have any solution? or some idea on the problem?
sorry for the bad English
EDIT: the problem seems to be the processor because cpu-z shows only a core of 6 active and the other 5 with the word "stopped" does anyone have any idea? something that resets the processor clock?
up! please i need help you think I should try with the warrantly?
Hmm, seems like a wrong cpu governor, maybe something wrong with the kernel. Anyway, if flashing other boot.img won't fix the problem then try the warranty.

Hi, i'm facing the same issue as well. Did you manage to solve it? The phone will heat up around the back area, lagging and then restart itself.

What did you do that caused this issue to start? You flashed something or modified something, what was it?

You rooted it or something, stock devices don't just start heating up like that unless you're using it heavily while it is on charger.
Or the battery you got isn't right, is the replacement battery rated higher than the one that was in it?
The problem is something you changed or did somewhere.
Regardless, try booting to download mode and flash the stock firmware, if its a software problem that might help, if its hardware you'll have to have hardware repaired or replaced.

its probably your phone has got some sort of hardware issue. I guess changing charging port may work for you. But that's just a suggestion. I just got my charging port replaced and it works great now. Because the device is itself very old. So hardware going haywire is normal thing.

Xiaomi Note 10 Lite Stuck in Mi Logo

Hi everyone, my Xiaomi note 10 lite freezes at the Mi logo after I restart it.
Medical history of this phone
It has died suddenly, for 3-4 days after the device runs out of battery, it will restart to use normally.
The other day I used Messenger to take pictures, but the device said that there was another software using the camera, I turned on the camera of the device and couldn't take a picture, so I decided to reboot the device, it just showed the Mi logo and was no longer usable ( I let it run out of battery but then restarted it but it didn't come back).
I tried everything on the internet to fix it myself but it still doesn't work (haven't been to the repair center yet). Has anyone in the group encountered this error, can anyone give me some advice.
Thanks guys so much!
did you fix that problem?
