hello everyone i have got a good news just 5 min before that russian developer ported tw mm for our grand 2. He is making a good kernal for rom and then hope he will relese the rom. Tw mm is awesome directly from s5.
Lets hope for bug fixes.

As far as I know , the developer porting the firmware Galaxy J7 2016 snapdragon. The developer is trying to make a stable kernel , if he is out, he will lay out its network . .

I think the idea is that this big team will accomplish things much quicker.
IMO I think CM7 for the i should be first as biel already said. CM 10 can wait till the others have caught up. how long has the non i ace been using CM? far too long lol

Hi, it would be greate if you were able to port a ROM. However it might be difficult to get the camera including zoom working correctly, wouldn't it?

I disagree. While raw support would be nice, security fixes alone would be a good reason to install a custom rom. The K Zoom is e.g. still vulnerable to the Stagefright exploit and Samsung seems to have completely abandoned it.

Short answer : No !
Long answer : MIUI has support for XDHPI and XXDHPI and our device is LDPI so we can't build it for galaxy star GT-S5282 ..
Note : we can do it if we exclusively made LDPI for MIUI then we will be able to build MIUI for it .
Well okay! as far as i have researched that MIUI 5 Works on LDPI devices check it out pls.
AND can we ever expect MIUI for our galaxy Star?

Don't worry Grand 2 developement is not dead. Nor is the TW MM port project.
A tree never dries up just cuz it lost a big branch. But yes the Grand 2 developement will be effected as we just lost probably the best developer we had

No, on the contrary, I am grateful for the spectacular work of making roms like that, I just had that little doubt!
Not a GP user but here's the answer. G531H is spreadtrum not qualcomm. This makes impossible for devs to port and even though they did, Wi-Fi will not work because they have big differences inside libhardware_legacy.so and dont even say replacing it. Many libs need methods from that lib above. But you have stuff like LineageOS for that device though(i think) :/. If you want Touchwiz, port J2 2016 firmware and inject J2 Prime framework in it for some sexy look :b. Also post stuff about that in general thread. This is Development thread.
