I need assistance in getting Kitkat 4.4.4 on my Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100.
I rooted the device a couple of years ago using this link after which I see the following values in the "About" section:

Hi,
I tried accessing the ROM link but it just took me to an error page reading: ‘internal server error’
Is there a newer, still active site where I could get the ROM?
Or another method that would allow me to update my s2 GT-I9100T to kit Kat?

I have searched how to root my phone but I haven't been able to find the correct Baseband root method.
This a phone from Taiwan and I upgraded it with Kies.

You can use philz kernel. Download the .tar file and flash it with odin.
