CM13 Nav Bar is not 100% unvisible - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Using CM13, no difference if Using software Nav Keys or not , the Nav bar is not 100% transparent on Homescreen, Lockscreen and App Drawer.
I can see it minimal like only 96% transparent, anyone knows a fix for that ?
best regards, hope someone knows to fix , because on some wallpapers this minimal visible bar is really anoying.

What you might be seeing is a bit of screen burn-in.
Some amoled screens have this problem, when the same pixel is light up it gets stuck with a ghosting effect.
This is most common on navbar and status bar since those pixel are almost always on. No way to fix :/

[Q] How to fix notification bar burn-in?

My Galaxy SII has burn-in on the notification bar. When I use *#0*# to check the screen, it is obvious that red and blue is burnt-in. Anyway to get rid of it?
real burn in?
are you sure it is a burn in? Do you see it in your browser on a white page?
I thought I spotted something similar but it was just OS bleeding through at some points in the interface. I believe I experienced it with miui.us or CM7.
I found this with a Google search. The question is, why didn't you

It is burn-in. When I browse using full screen, it becomes pale blue on the notification bar

I found it as well. But changing notification bar color is too hard for me. I followed some other suggestions on post (e.g. full screen browsing, screen brightness)
The problem is, the burn-in mark is still there, it does not get fix or reduced.
I just wanna see if new solution is found since the post is already a year ago.

There is no solution, the pixels on notification bar faded because they were used more then the surrounding ones (which are now brighter). You can only minimize the risk of burn-in by lowering brightness. Its a downfall of AMOLED technology, no fix for that.

Yellow tint on screen of new Neo V

Well I bought a new Neo v, its almost a month.
What I have noticed is the default color temperature is set slightly warmer. If you compare the phone to any other screen you will see white appears to have slight tint of yellow.
I am not the only one who has reported this, here is a link
http://communities-origin.sonyericsson.com/message/143398
Is there any way I can fix this? As a designer this is irritating.
Cheers.
You can try the disable auto brightness app [root], so you set the brightness higher. Black looks much better then. Maybe this works too, I haven't tried it.
I think it's a choice Sony made, to make the colours more natural, but less saturated.

Thanks,
Brightness had no effect but the app you attached really helped
Wondering if there is any permanent solution to this, app has an icon on top notification bar which is not very desirable

It was the first app I found, there will be at least 2 other apps that can do this. Also beware: Some of these screen filter apps have the effect that you can't click install when opening an apk file. Disable the app and it should work. Had a hard time with that
Is there a firmware solution to this problem?
Is it more of a screen defect or a firmware color temperature setting? If later then can I make changes to make it more natural. Yellow is kind of getting irritating now!
Those filters are no good for permanent solution.
i had your problem earlier when i bought my Neo,its like burn in my eyes...brightness already set to maximum but its not so maximum....not like what i want...so i change to custom rom,and there you go...brightness control just 1/2 of bar, enough for me and yellow, red, green colour not so burning...of coz its still there, its bravia engine and its acceptable...
sory for my english
Hmm well I compared my phone to another Neo V which was bought from India. Even at lower brightness White looks white but for me it looks little yellow.
As somebody mentioned its because my phone was manufactured for other region where they set the color temp little warmer. If there was a way to set to Neutral nothing like it
I upgraded to ICS thinking it will fix or reset it. But in vain.
In my opinion, it seems to be a hardware problem, I do not have to do with the software. Hopefully you fix ...

MIUI 11 - Ambient Display Breathing Light [BUG]

So it would seem one of the features of miui 11 which I looked forward to is not as effective as I hoped. That is the pulsing breathing light.
When the screen is locked, the ambient display brightness dims after a few seconds. If and when a notification comes, the brightness remains dim and you can hardly notice the pulsing effect or even the arrival of the notification for that matter.
I would assume the screen would brighten up and the pulse would be more prominent but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case.
Yes it's pretty useless feature notification dont seem work very well since getting 11

Same here
Got miui 11 on my k20 pro yesterday, feels quite nice but the notification animation (rhythm) lights up continuously when, for example, the Google maps notification is active. Feature is quite cool but this makes it rather useless/annoying.
Got the MIUI 11 few minutes ago.
I thought the ambient display would work like the old Moto X, just showing something when I receive a notification or raise up the phone.
Showing all the time like this doesn't rises the risk of burn in? Or am I missing some option?

Similar issue here, AOD works as normal (although message icons are very dim, almost invisible), breathing light works but only blinks once.. which is quite useless as it's so quick can hardly notice it.. anyone know if there is a fix so it pulsates longer?

Me too, and I really need that functionality.
Messages don't appear on screen for me even after allowing notification permission
Since 11 I don't get any notifications like I did. Screen stays black with AOD turned off but sounds off. With AOD on it does not show any new notifications or any lights go off. Useless.

AOD only works with some apps. Whatsapp and Gmail work. Textra and Outlook do not. It has never worked properly on MIUI. It's pretty useless like this. xiaomi.eu devs add each app (by request) to the AOD. I don't know why Xiaomi have such a poor AOD.

For anyone who is unaware, xiaomi.eu rom (11.04 stable) can display notification icons for all apps in AOD now.

Anyone remove or lessen blur effect?

The stock blur effect that happens when pulling notification menu down, or viewing recent apps, is way too intense for me. It also ends up brightening my black background because I think it's averaging the color across the entire display as it blurs. If the max blur was maybe 5-10% of what it currently is, i wouldn't have an issue with it. Though I would just prefer it to darken the background instead. Would I need root to fix this? I attached some images showing off the issue.

Maybe I didn't get the issue right.
AFAIK you can change this effect by using a different launcher. No root needed.

Question Any way to resize navigation bar?

Does anyone know of a way to make the 3-button navigation bar taller/bigger on Android 12? I have magisk and lsposed, but none of the older solutions work (eg GravityBox). I also haven't been able to find any xposed modules that work. I tried gesture navigation but I prefer the 3 buttons. I also increased the touchscreen sensitivity.
I just upgraded to Pixel 6 from Pixel 4XL but I'm noticing that the navigation bar buttons don't always respond as it did on the Pixel 4XL. I'm frequently having to press the nav bar buttons again bc they're not registering my touch. I'm thinking that it's because the height of the nav bar is short, but I've also never had an issue on the 4XL. It might be due to the my screen protector, but I don't have any issues on the other areas of the touchscreen and my 4XL also had a screen protector without issue. Thx!
i would kill for a mod that kept the navigation bar always visible, personally i think google was STUPID to push the no physical buttons for android design plan.

Did you find anything in the themes and mods section that could help you?
Google Pixel 6
The Google Pixel 6 is a 6.4" phone with a 1080x2400 resolution display. The Google Tensor chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The main camera is 50+12MP and the selfie camera is 8MP. The battery has a 4614mAh capacity.

no unfortunately.
I'm actually thinking of returning my Pixel 6. It's not performing as well as I expected and not any faster than my Pixel 4XL.

check out a benckmark to see if its really not faster. sad thing is oyu get more ram, more speed int he cpu , but google loads it down with 400MB of google play services and other frills that make it run like an old woman from a mugger... far to hard for no benefit.

I did check the benchmarks and it did show the 6 being faster/better than the 4xl, but I didn't notice any difference in most cases. (Though, I did notice my swiftbackup being much faster on the 6 when I was backing up all my user apps.)
Right, I was thinking the 16GB ram and better cpu would translate into very noticeable performance.
Main reason that I upgraded was because my pixel 4 xl has been draining battery fast lately, so I thought it was time to upgrade... But noticed the same issue on my pixel 6. Couple that with the other pixel 6 issues and I'm wondering whether it's really worth it to keep the 6.

Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly. There is a way to switch to the 3-button navigation bar in android settings. That's what I'm using now.

oh that's very odd. I've never had that issue before in any phone, any android version, or any rom (custom or stock). The only time it disappears is when it's intended -- if I'm playing a full screen game, watching a full screen video, etc.
In case anyone's interested, I was able to sort-of resolve this issue by switching to the 2-button navigation (via magisk, since 2-button is not an option in settings). I don't seem to have the nav bar issue anymore.
I do believe it's your screen protector causing your main issue. I've noticed they can be temperamental near the edges of the screen. On my LG V40 thin Q, I used the left-hand version of the keyboard, because, the right side letters & numbers were so hard to register a tap. In your case, it's likely at the bottom. Personally, I'm not using a screen protector on my pixel 6, since I own it outright, instead of payments on the LG. But, you do need to be more on target tapping the nav buttons.

I know it is late but I understand what you mean .
It is not the navigation bar that looks small . When you enable Task Bar it will make Navigation Bar smaller to the side . So to disable it go to.
Settings > Display > taskbar. Uptick it.
Now you have the normal long navigation bar
