Is their somebody who can give me some guidance what steps to take to customize your phone with a custom rom and custom recovery. I've been reading the web bow but somehow it seems no unlocking and no custom recovery is required and where flashing goes by a external flash program (fs flash where you use a txt file and from their the program downloads itself the rom.... Now I am confused...
I am only used to HTC, where I need to unlck boatloader, s-off, flash custom recovery and then flash (through) TWRP a custom Tom. How does it work with a Elephone P9000?

it's not an exact replica of what you'll see on your phone, but it's pretty close. check out the youtube vid in the above link to see it "live".
Download:
DukeOS-bootanimationLOW-cwm.zip (1.9M)
INSTALLATION (for those who need it):
copy the file to your phone (i use sshdroid to copy it to my /mnt/sdcard/)
run System Recovery and choose Recovery Mode (make sure power is plugged in)
wait... (could it boot up past the Motorola logo any slower?)
select Install zip from SDCARD
select choose zip from internal sdcard (or just sdcard, your mileage may vary)
scroll down until you find the DukeOS-bootanimationLOW-cwm.zip file
hit your power button to select it
scroll down to Yes - Install DukeOS-bootanimationLOW-cwm.zip and hit your power button to select it.
watch the quick install screen
scroll down to Go Back and hit the power button again.
Reboot system now should be highlighted, hit the power button to reboot.
ENJOY!

Froyo and GB were released and available for Atrix 4G users in 2011. Users were using this boot animation back then. Its 2013, and we have Froyo, GB, ICS, and JB. Switching boot animations is done on ALL versions and ANY ROM.

Hello everyone! As Some Users have this problem,and many others of you can have it too,I'm writing this guide to get back to LG's ICS when you're coming from CM10. This also works for Unbricking your device.
Warning,Dragons Ahead! BEFORE YOU START DOING THIS,I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR PHONE,THIS HAS BEEN TESTED AND WORKING!
Requirements::
A Windows Based PC(This has been tested under Windows 7 SP1 64-Bit,I'm not sure it will work under Windows 8)
L7 With CM10 on it
Homero's V10K with CWM,ROOT and Unlocked Bootloader which you can find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176430 credits to Homero for making the KDZ.
KDZ_FLASHER which you can find at the end of the post.
LG USB Drivers Installed
ADB which you can find at the end of the post.
So,Let's Start!
1. Once You've Downloaded Homero's V10K,Extract the ZIP and you will find a .KDZ file.
2. Now Download KDZ_FW_UPDATE.zip and extract it,then open the folder where you extracted it and Start KDZ_FW_UPDATE_EN with Administrator Rights (Right Click on file and select Run As Administrator...)
3. Once the program started,in Type select 3GQCT and in Phone Mode select EMERGENCY, then in KDZ File select the precedently downloaded Homero's V10K kdz file and press open.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
4. Make Sure your Phone is connected to the computer in EMERGENCY MODE( Remove the battery from the phone,then while pressing Vol+ Connect the usb to the computer,a yellow screen must come up showing EMERGENCY)
5. Once you've done this,press Launch Software Update and let it work,the procedure takes about 5-10 Minutes,so don't worry.
6. At the end of the procedure the phone will reboot and an LG Animated Logo will come up,and after some minutes KDZ_FW_UPDATE Will say you that there has been an error,Don't panic
7. With still the phone connected to the PC,Download ADB zip at the end of the post and extract it in your C:/ Drive,then open up CMD and write:
Code:
cd ADB
adb devices(just to make sure that the computer recognizes your phone)
adb reboot recovery
8. Now your phone will reboot in CWM Recovery, just do Wipe Data/Cache,Wipe Cache,Wipe Dalvik(Which is situated in Advanced Menu). When you have done this,select Reboot System and wait for your phone to finish the boot,and ENJOY!Good as new! :victory:
That's all,I Hope I could help you!
Thanks To:
-Homero2 for making the V10K KDZ Flashable with ROOT,CWM and Unlocked Bootloader

For flashing via Odin DO NOT BOOT INTO RECOVERY MODE. Boot into DOWNLOAD MODE. here is a description below.
The Samsung drivers must be properly installed and phone recognized prior to flashing with odin.
1. Open the "Odin307" folder and right click on "Odin3 v3.07.exe" and choose run as
administrator. Odin will open.
2. place your phone into download mode. Turn off phone - press and hold volume down, home
button and power button at the same time. When you see the warning push the volume up
button to continue.
3. Plug your usb cord to your phone and computer and wait until you see any number and com
in the com
4. Check the PDA block and browse to the tar file you would like to flash.
5. that settings are correct for what you are doing
When all this is setup Odin should look like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
6. If everything looks like the picture, click on the start button in Odin.
Please do not mess iwth the other options in Odin.

OK, I'd like to try Xposed and a few other mods but I'd hate to not be able to restore to stock ROM if backup and restore doesn't work properly (which I've seen a couple of times on MTK devices)
Update! TWRP works well, even backup and restore seems OK. Now to make a debloated ROM :good:
PS: Can someone explain the Overlay fix? I'm not sure exactly what this is supposed to resolve. I am using the 20161213 ROM.
After flashing the TWRP, tried to reboot to recovery but not working. How do I boot into recovery.????
I tried it in 20161213rom and 20170116 ROM!

What do you get when you turn your phone off and hold VOL UP + Power? Once I select "recovery" then it shows the Leagoo logo for a moment then boots right in.
When I turn the phone off, I hold the vol + and power and I get recovery, fastboot and reboot. I select the recovery using the vol down. But its keeps showing Leagoo logo
Okay. For whatever reason, it hasn't flashed the recovery properly - it sounds like it's missing. If you have the stock recovery, it shows the Leagoo logo for a moment, then shows the Freeme logo only (no text, just a logo). With TWRP it takes around 2-3 seconds for it to come up. It sounds to me that something went wrong when you tried to flash TWRP. What version of SPFlashTools are you using? Are you sure the right drivers are installed? Perhaps try another computer and USB cable and try with SPFlashTool again.

Good news! I uploaded a debloated ROM. Link here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/6-0-lazy-s-debloated-rom-leagoo-m8-t3574816
It worked for my Leagoo M8 on second reflash with Pack-Flashtool-v5.1640.00.000.
After first attempt with original flashtool I had Freeme's hieroglyph and "no command" text.
Thank you!
Anyone knows if this can work for "Pro" version?
