M4 aqua battery life is very horrible. Not even 1.5 days standby time. stamina mode doesn't seem to work. 30% battery drain without using for like 6-8 hours.
I have the e2312 model.
Any way to solve it?
Or is it hardware problem of my phone only?
Really dispointed.
What is weird is this phone of mine doesn't overheat. It we little hot initially. But no terrible heating up now. And no lags.
It is very smooth but terrible battery life.
I have the new firmware updated after i bought.
I sleep 8-9 hours and my battery goes -4%. You should enable more STAMINA features and disable exceptions. If it doesn't help, change your device's battery and don't let it go under 20%.

Hi! I have a Galaxy S6 edge for a few weeks and I am disappointed in the battery life. It drained from 100% to 65% in the ultra power saving mode with turned off screen and disabled any network conntections within 5 hours! I really dont know what to do... I use Clean Master and Greenify and deactivated most of the services running in background and I didnt get any solutions. Please help!
the battery drainage could be due to the fact you use CM and greenify…
if I'm on 100% and I turn on ultra mode i get over a days use.. what do you have running in the background?
Hi, I had the same problem.
What made it better for me: I cleaned the cache and used phone till 0% till it shut downed and then let it charged overnight.
Today is first day and at the moment i have had 2% battery drain per hours on idle, 4G turned on.

I am just using WhatsApp Facebook etc... there are not special apps that could extremely drain my battery running in background. I factory reseted my phone and will activate the ultra power saving mode this night to and I will see. Thanks for replies.
Hi, I found out that my Mate 20 Pro batteey isn't as solid as advertised. The battery keep draining in standby mode. Yesterday, it dropped 9% in 8 hours of standby mode with WiFi on. However, the first few days the battery is very great but after 10 days of usage the battery performance dropped a lot ?. May I know is the AI allocation of power based on my usage pattern or the battery is faulty?
Looks like a rogue app...check the battery usage stats or install AccuBatttery to get full details.
Might have to restart in Safe mode to confirm it's an app.
Standby with Wi-Fi should be below 1%/hr unless some background activity goes nuts on you.
Try restarting the phone, i had the issue at some point, the switch from auto app management to manual, keeping just the apps i want. After the recent update(153) i switched back to auto. There is some issue with the app management, cause sometimes i lose just 1-2% of battery during the night, but sometimes 5-7%. Now i get an avarage of 36h+ of usage, and if not charging at 30-40% i could get more.
From brand new, my mate 20 pro drains about 12-13% if left overnight, also thought that was pretty bad
So i recently got a poco f1. For the initial two days the battery pack was great with sot of above 6 hours but recently it has just dropped alot to 4 hours. The biggest battery drainer is surprisingly the stand by mode with almost 1% battery drain every 10-15 minutes. I have no apps running in the background. I have disabled most of the notifications from apps. Wi fi was also switched off but still this is happening. Any one else facing this. Should I get my phone replaced? Any tips please.
That's normal. Xiaomi is said to be working on this issue. For now you can activate battery saver mode, it'll stop battery drain.
Or root your phone and flash a kernel.
My 6months old poco f1 has about 1% battery drain..
I mean. For example.. i sleep at about 10pm @56% battery.. when i woke up at 6 or 7am. It still has 54-55% battery..
Thanks to greenify.. gms modules.. and others
I got the phone yesterday, I set it up but haven't transferred my sim yet but I've noticed that the battery drain when idle is quite severe. I've only done the OnePlus transfer. And WiFi has always been on. But this battery drain is not got at all.
Can anyone please advise how to improve it. In fact , I had put it on battery saver mode and it still drained. For example at 10% decrease over 7 hours is not good. I expect a 1-2 % decrease overnight.

Try uninstalling OnePlus Switch. You don't need it if you've set up your device already.

This is just how this phone works, and I recommend you to not expect what you experienced before with your previous phone would happen on this phone. I don't know if one can use Greenify's aggressive doze function without rooting, but it definitely improved the battery drain overnight by a lot on my 7T Pro non-5G McLaren.
I'm not really satisfied with battery life of my less than two months old Realme GT 12/256 GB.
What is your average screen on time on this phone?
Mine would be in the 3.5-5 hours range in a day and a half, maybe more if I watch a movie or something.
I'm not playing games and only have Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook... usual stuff.
I didn't see any tanglible difference between "auto" and 60 Hz screen mode regarding battery life.
Also, what percentage of battery drain do you see overnight?
I'm on latest firmware, tried every possible battery saving combination, but always have at least 3% battery drain overnight (usually around 4% in 7-8 hours) and that with radio and all apps off and various battery saving settings applied (global and per app).
I'm starting to believe it's "normal" for this phone and its SD 888 chipset.
Thanks.
Same
I have very similar results as you. Battery life is just ok.
Current battery life:
from 93% to 28% in 1d 19h, SOT: 3h 15min.
Before this I had Poco F3 for a month or so and I don't recall exactly, but it was something like a 1%, 2% max. drain overnight with pretty much the same usage pattern.
Also I have Lenovo tablet with far weaker MTK CPU but not much bigger battery (5000 mAh and 10.3'' screen) and that one almost doesn't use battery in standby mode (beats all phones I had).
I'm currently disabling various apps and testing and I'll post here if I find out something useful.
Optimized standby - Ultra standby makes exactly no difference in my current setup so I turned it off completely.
Quick device connect is also turned off and not in use, as far as I can tell.
