Yes you will get the error on every cm based rom who is based on @TheStrix Trees . The problem is he used mm ril instead of lollipop ril. several operators like bsnl ,vodafone are giving fc while airtel idea survived
Wait for @TheStrix to revert on lp ril then when he pushes that to tree then you will get no fc on cm based roms . Till then use cm based roms which has santosh trees .

On the previous builds of santosh i was not facing this problem but on his new build dated 02/09/2016 i am facing it. In its changelog he mentioned some change to radio blobs ! Is thT the cause .? Any solution ?

I am not getting voLTE in any of ROMs even which supports voLTE like aosp mm,cm14.1 abhishek and santosh build and even tried RR 5.8.0 but didn't succeed
I tried flashing all framewares and tried restoring eds of miui mm ROM but still I am dying to see the voLTE sign on my notification panel in a custom ROM

The HD notification doesn't come up sometimes. Only way to be sure its working is to make a call.
Try flashing NX or cm13 radio if you haven't already.

Hey guys i need some help, im not getting VOLTE on some roms but getting on some like RR and AEX and all miui based roms. The roms like legend rom, own rom, aim rom are not supporting volte for my device . is anyone here facing same issue or anyone knows the solution plz tell me.
Currently im on purenexus i got volte on installation after some time it goes and came back but again it goes and not coming back even after i tried reboot , volte disable/enable or clean flashing rom again.

Ah, yep. It's a bug at the moment on some roms.
It's fine with the LineageOS, RR & AEX ROMs etc.. But it's isn't working on Roms like Purenexus, I did tried PN twice and every time there's no volte, so after some reports by users, it's working only with one sim (Jio only), if you use dual sim you won't get VOLTE. So, it's a bug, provide em' logs. Wait for fixes, as there's no fix yet.
BTW, changing apn settings is also helped getting volte back on some Roms, But not on purenexus as I tried.

This time I suggest you to stick with any of the Roms which have no volte bug. Like lineage, RR, aex & etc... Wait for updates on those Roms which have volte bugs, I heard that purenexus volte bug fixed already, like that wait for an update.
Apn settings isn't working for purenexus, it worked for halogenOS only.
How to?
Just add new apn and copy paste the same things from default one, save it and choose it, reboot. If it's works you're lucky.
Logs? Check my signature, how to take logs.

I have a weird problem. Every-time I reboot my phone, the system time changes to some random time and year changes to 1970
but after about 2 minutes when the network is available, the time corrects itself to present value.
I have clean flashed all the ROM's
Tried with official Kernels and Custom kernels with no luck
However I do not see this problem in official Linage 14.1 Builds
is anyone facing this issue or is it only me? Any solution?

but no luck.

This is general problem for oreo roms.
Pixel experience is the only oreo based ROM in which I did not face this issue.!

I get the same problem but not only on Oreo based ROMs!

I have been using the same TWRP and the same rom and suddenly one day I came across with this problem! I also get this program on both Oreo and Nougat ROMs!
I didn't have any issue with any Nougat ROMs. I'm using official twrp (non treble one)
using MiracleDROID ROM - No startup time bug in this ROM for me.
Omni ROM dev @khan_frd2002 fixed it for me. using Omni on second phone.
except these above, rest almost all OREO Based ROMs I have this issue. I don't have good data plan to keep data always on so that time sync's on every reboot.

Hello. I have a problem flashing the latest AOSP that you posted. When going to TWRP or recovery then when I flash it. It's error and said. "This device is j5xlte" even though I have a j5xnlte device. I tried all the roms that you posted and it's flashable and working except to the AOSP 8.5 it gotten a error. And also all the roms (your roms on github) don't have a RIL either no sim card detected. Your Roms are fine man but there's is a problem just two of it. But it's fine anyways since you just make it yesterday so it's still on beta. Hoping that you gonna make it.

hmmm... I tested all that roms and it worked fine for me on SM-J510FN (single sim edition) j5xnlte, accept that bugs what i posted on github (try updating twrp to the lastest)

I have the latest TWRP Recovery. My friend tried it and still the same problem. Why not try again? so you can find the bugs on Sim Card or RIL. I do accept the bug that you posted on github but that two is my main problem

When you gonna fix the Sim Detection/RIL.
and flashing error for your latest aosp 8.5 it said I have j5xlte. Currently i'm on Pixel Experience rom (Android 10) and I got also the latest TWRP which is version 3.90 7.0

First of all, thank you very much for continuing to supply this smartphone with Custom Romś. Isn't it better to make 1 or 2 available for Custom Romś and provide them with security updates etc.? I can well imagine that this causes a lot of time and work. I think it's better to provide 1 or 2 than more at some point due to time constraints.
