[Q] Android phone as controller for AndroidTV (like WiiMote) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I have one question. Can i control Android TV using Android Smartphone using motion sensor in phone like remote in Wii?
(i mean full system, not only selected games)
Is it possible? Phone can be rooted, TV not. (TV has locked system partition in bootloader)
You know, like this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yebscs3prOM (but here is game in phone, and it is only streaming to tv, i want to have phone only as remote, and all games and stuff will be runing on tv)

[Q] control pc games with evo 3d

hi guys, i am totaly new user of htc and android. it is possible to use gyro and other sensor on phone to control games on pc?
What games would you want to control with it?
i dont have any specific game on my mind. it would be nice something like bowling, if i can run it on pc with tv as screen and control it by "moving" phone
Using it like a Wii remote. Would be cool if it is possible, might be though. Have you guys seen the new Android stick for TV's that has ICS built in and comes with a remote which has a gyro in it. Similar concept?

[Q] can I view my android on pc to play games ?

Hello,
is there a way to view my android device on my pc using wifi or usb so I can play games or view apps on my laptop ?
thanks..
yes, you can, but...
not exactly you would like
you can install software (i.e youwave, bluestacks) to run android games/apps on your pc/laptop - not your from your device
Thanks for the answer ,,, but not what I want ,,sorry
any other ways please
There are ways to do a "remote desktop" type connection with your Android device and PC (google for MyMobiler), but the framerate is not good enough to play games. If you're just looking to get a big screen way to play games then you're better off looking at the HDTV and HDMI output way of doing things. Many Android phones & tablets can output to HDMI with a basic converter, but not all. It obviously depends what device you have and if you can afford to get a HDTV (if you don't have one).
It's possible to see your screen from laptop or TV when you have a special wire (like HDMI) but I don't think it's possible to play Android games on your laptop.

Xbox360 & PS3 gamepad shoulder triggers don't work

Hi people!
A lot of time went by where I wasn't doing anything android related what so ever.
This week I installed minecraft on my x96 mini android box (running android 6.0.1) and some other games and have been playing them with my Xbox 360 controller.
After browsing this forum I even got the wireless gamepad running.
My daughter likes playing minecraft so I thought I would install it on my old MXII clone android box (with a g18REF board) that's running android 4.2.2 .
Installing the game went fine and even got to play on it.
So next step was playing it with an xbox 360 controller (wired) but that's where I ran into problems.
The controller works in the menu (android launcher), even works in minecraft....but....the L and R shoulder triggers are not.
This means I can't MINE or PLACE objects with the controller which render the game unplayable.
Then I realised I had to play around with key layouts on my other box to get the wireless gamepad working as it should, as I found in this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1792531&nocache=1
But no matter what I do, I can not get the shoulder buttons to work in any game.
Does anyone know if there is a fix for android 4.2.2 which makes the shoulder buttons work so my daughter can play minecraft on this device?
