Hi all DEVs ,as you can see in the left,I am from China ,And you may know that there`s a Greet Fire Wall which was bulit by the China Government,so i cant access MuiltUPLoad or Hotfile or MediaFire directly.AS for me it`s easy ,I can use a VPN service or something else . But when i want to introduce your jobs to my friends or some one else ,there`s a Problem.They may not konw how to use a VPN or so,What then can see is just a White page with"The page can`t be shown" on it.They may think i am playing a joke on them .
So i think you can upload your jobs to another service (just a copy is enough) such as SkyDrive ,or could you please allow me to mirror your job to another server which can be accessed in China ? I know that there may some one already mirrored your jobs without permission ,They may even write there name on your jobs as if the job is done by them.But I haven`t done it even once .What i think is just that i don`t want to disobey your willings...
I will be very happy if you allow me to mirror your jobs or you can make a copy on another server...

If you have nothing to say, then don't even bother to.
@OP, since you can easily obtain the files, why don't you re-upload them and privately send the files to them? Just make sure you don't make your re-uploaded links public since most developers don't want their users to re-upload their ROMS.

Yeah, but most devs here prohibit anyone from re-uploading their ROMs but if you are going to send them privately to your friends, it's OK I guess.

yes i have seen the post all over the forum, but i didn't figure how to fix the problem. i have a stupid MT6628 mobile phone with android 4.0.4 with kernel version 3.0.13.
i have read somewhere about changing something in the packages.xml file so i attached mine in case anyone would be kind enough to tell me what exactly i have to delete/add/edit/whatever

it is a chinese mobile phone.and i saw a workaround for it,but didn't know how to fix it myself, hence i attached my packages.xml for someone to be generous enough to just tell me what changes i have to make to the file

if you are rooted you can try flashing the latest gapps package that should fix this and try fixing permissions
if you are not rooted then wait for someone to edit it for you or do a search and do it yourself

i am rooted and i tried flash the gapps but it gave an error.something like wrong package or something...
so no one is kind enough to just do this which would take a practiced one, less than a minute? how sweet

Coz I like the function of PixelMaster so much.
I have decompiled and sign for the apk now.
And it is able to be installed.
But worst of all, it can not be opened...
Now I hope anyone can help me to do this.

You need to find all the library files, permissions and maybe some binaries for the apk..

I would recommend taking a look at this guide on "How to Port OEM Apps / Vendor Apps to Your Current ROM" as a great starting place for starting to get the app to work.

I have found 4 files (below) which contain "camera" in their names, but just have no idea to add into apk file.
Is there any possibility to the files that don't contain "camera", but are relative to the camera?

Once you find out the dependent files (Re-read the guide) you take these files and package them in CWM flashable .zip not necessarily adding them into the apk file.

Yes system/lib.. you can transfer them via recovery too instead of making a flash able zip..
Yes there are possibilities that there will be files without the name camera in them.. but that's what logs are for

Well, I almost give up this project...
I had asked my friend, he gave the following attachment to me.
It can just open, but all of the special functions like PixelMaster & GIF recording are all broken.
I guess it may be related to hardware issues...

Oh man, I would love to be able to get the PixelMaster app back on my Zenfone 2 (I'm running Cyanogenmod 12). The default Google camera sucks horribly compared to the stock ASUS camera app.
Has there been any more work on this project? I'm gonna read that guide myself and work on it, but I guess I'd have to put the stock ROM back on my phone first.

If you install the apk on the zf2 with cm12 it works. Only issue I've found is the depth of field doesn't work

Oh, really? That's kinda nice, although yeah the depth-of-field working would sure be nice. I'll have to try it out tonight. I can just use the .apk from the OP, correct?
Well I tried installing that .apk from the OP. Had to allow installation from unknown sources first, then after hitting Install, it asked me to give Google permission to send data and whatever else. Regardless if I select Accept or Decline, I always get an "App not installed" message.
Damnit, I was looking forward to using it! I think I'm gonna try stripping it from the stock ROM myself.

Just google Asus Camera APK and download the latest 2.0 release from there, one was released this month.

Alrighty, thanks. I actually was searching for PixelMaster .apk this weekend but didn't have much luck besides seeing a ton of frickin spam sites masking as legit .apk download sites. I'll do another search tonight.
Hopefully I can get the .apk to install. It sure would be nice to have the depth-of-field working, but after skimming through that thread linked earlier (How to Port OEM Apps to Your Current ROM) there's no way I can follow that. It's nice the guy put together a guide, but being unfamiliar with this stuff I need to follow something written in clear English.
I guess the ASUS Camera app was easier to find than I thought. The first time I tried it was nothing but spam site after spam site. Maybe it was Bing's fault, haha.
But I got version 2.0.0.150805_5 and it installed with no problem and works great. Thanks for your help, ejames2001, I appreciate it.

Why do people want this package so badly? It's just the MSM download tool with Stock Oxygen OS 2.1.1 . Also, it's not fastboot. It's via qualcomm bootloader.
I actually managed to crack it because i got a server powerful enough to do so(my Xeon workhorse ). But i won't share ANYTHING around without permission of OnePlus. So it's for my own use for now if i ever need it.(i couldnt even guess how you can brick your OP2 so bad that you need a bootloader restore...)
There must be a reason that they protected these files. Because i can already guess that there will be dumbasses ruining their phone even more.
If you want to make progress in this password thing, Then make a petition and kindly ask them to release the files for public.
You guys must know that i'm totally on your side that hiding files is not good. But asking passwords is even worse. And they must have thought about it when they protected them.

Edit:- and a beginner like me who bricked his galaxy core 25+ times while building build.prop tweaks, roms and kernels, an odin/fastboot file would appreciate help me, If I ever decide to release my kernel.

If the partitions on the phone are damaged/corrupt/missing, this file may be someone's last chance at fixing their phone.
I did start a petition. I got like 4 followers. That was not enough. The thread at oneplus is the petition that I started.

I don't really want to be that guy, but please spare us the morality check especially after you are claiming to have cracked the file yourself.
If you did crack it allow someone else to follow in your steps since you are so against actually sharing the file/pass. Provide someone with the info on the method used (brute force params or dictionary, etc) , if it was cracked by you it will at some point be cracked by another, no sense in delaying it.
Or don't come on a thread to begin with and start boasting about cracking it... and then wait, Oh yeah and it's for personal use.
I was using a combination rom on my galaxy j3 prime and I found this app that I believe is an FM aradio. I can't install it on my stock fw because it says it conflicts with a package name, and when I try to change the package name, it says its corrupted after I use a modification app. Can someone please mod it to work on stock FW? Thnx
