Force boot logo Android 5.1? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I'm looking to create a custom ROM for an android device but I'd like to keep my boot logo and stop other people from changing it in logo.img
I know it can be done as I've seen it before, even if you change the logo.img on the next boot the logo returns to the original image despite whatever the logo.img is.
Does anyone know how to do this, or possibly point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

[Q] Change Kernel Boot Splash Logo

Hi All,
How to change kernel boot splash logo?
Facts:
I have LG Optimus 2x (P990). Current ICS kernel have two LG icons splash logo. I'm building my own CM10.1 kang, so I have kernel & android source codes.
What did I tried:
1) initlogo.rle
My ramdisk do not contain any initlogo.rle file. I created new CM10.1 build including my new initlogo.rle. Nothing changed, LG splash logo still remains there.
2) BOOT_LOGO defconfig
I enabled BOOT_LOGO defconfig and replaced 224.ppm picture. Again, nothing happen.
I wonder where can be current splash screen logo located and how can I override it.
I asked same question in our forum, but looks like nobody knows answer. I'm posting it here in hope that maybe somebody solve similar case for other device or maybe have any idea which can help me.
Please, any idea is welcomed! Thanks

[Q] Allwinner A33 boot logo change

Hello,
I have a Allwinner A33 tablet with Android 4.4.2 it's 1024x600, and I want to change boot logo (not bootanimation), it displays 2 logos at boot before bootanimation, and I want to change them, how can I do it?
I have found many posts about this but none for A33, I also do not have any boot/ROM for it...
Is there a way that I can backup the device, change the logo and send it back with the same boot but with my logo?
Thanks

Use dragon face to edit firm file
DragonFace
Hi,
Is this still the way to edit firmware files? I have tried DragonFace 2.5 but when I put the image back on the tablet it sits at the boot logo and doesnt go from there. Is there a tutorial on how to edit the logos and customise the preinstalled apps and desktop etc?
Thanks!

I am also facing the same issue. Even if I just save the firmware without making any changes in DragonFace, the device just freezes on the boot logo when flashed with Phoenix Suite.
Am i using the wrong combination of tools (Dragon Face to change the firmware and Phoenix Suite to Flash it)?

Need Help Changing Boot Logo and Boot Video for my MXQ box

hey guys im new here and just getting started in the scene, i HATE the logo and bootvideo that my MXq loads up and i want to see if anyone can change the boot logo and video to something I already have, i have tried Factorytool 4.0 but it cant seem to load the IMG file so Im stuck. id be willing to pay like $10 for someone to help me out
if your box is rooted (which many mxq are) and its running a standard android ROM, then this should not be to difficult to do on your own.
all you need to do is use a file manager and find the right files (a gif usually) and delete it (to remove logo) or replace with another (to change it).
if you google your android version and "change boot logo" you should find helpfull info

[Q] Can I change the boot logo?

Hello
A couple of months ago I decided to install a custom ROM on my device (Alcatel 5015a), I tried with a few of them until i found one that i really liked, the problem was with one of the ROM instalation the Boot Logo changed for an ASUS one (It was an ASUS ROM ported for my device), I thought that flashing a different ROM will change the boot logo, but for my suprise it did not, I started looking for a way to change the boot logo myself, with some changes and I found this https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953726 I follow the steps, make the "update.zip" file, but when I flash it nothing happen, and the móvil stills shows up the ASUS logo, I dont really know if I am doing something wrong, or if there is any solution, I hope you guys can help.
