My phone is made in Vietnam.
I tried to root it .first time it root and # icon appeared but root explorer closed by superuser required
when i was searching in supersu setting suddenly it removed and never came back with several time rooting again.
I also tried to update it to Portugal 4.1.2 two time but it came back to first 2.3.6
usb port was known
WiFi update got fail in downloading mode and kies update failed at last moment
I don't know whats problem????
I was able to successfully root using vroot on MJ7 and got the Chinese suoeruser.I verified I had root via Root Checker Basic. When I opened terminal emulator and entered the two line codes, the phone rebooted and I lost root. I did not get SuperSU installed and every time I try to root again via Chinese Vroot the program states I rooted successfully with a blue check mark but the phone is not actually rooted. I downloaded Supersu manually but it is missing binaries. What am I doing wrong? I deleted user data and factory reset the phone from boot menu many times but still I get the same result. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I had not placed the phone in airplane mode initially so I don't know if that made a difference. Now when I try to vroot the phone, I get the security notice stating an attempt to access a secure area of the phone was blocked. Is there a work a round for this? I am really frustrated. All I want is to is to get free wifi tether with my unlimited data plan. If I can do that without root even better.
Good afternoon all,
I have recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S3 via kies to Android 4.3. I couldn't do the update over the air as it was rooted. I had to go through and root my phone again through Odin and again all that went fine.
However since doing this I have had to restore my device 2 times as it shuts down every now and then and I find I 'lose' some apps...mainly games, which I find annoying. It also wipes any saved text messages.
At first I thought it was only losing apps that I'd downloaded through other means (i.e. not Play) but it appears not. I still have the apk files stored on the phone and have tried to re-install them but I get a message of 'app not installed'
Can anyone tell me why this is the case? As I have previously said it has only been since updating to Android 4.3. Not sure if it is due to rooting my phone (i'm guessing not).
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Chris

See multiple posts re OTA and root problems.
Suggest factory reset if that does not fix then flash stock 4.3 through Odin .
I know that I can't do OTA updates... My problem is that the phone will restart, without warning and when it reboots I have lost all my text messages and a few apps. Trying to reinstall the apk files gives me the error 'app not installed'
I have tried factory reset both through the recovery mode and the system settings, but nothing resolves it.
My phone is rooted and runs Android 4.3 which was updated through kies.
The apps it loses are games so that's not a major issue... It's all the text messages.
I have a very similar problem, phone always shuts down and restarts on it's own. A couple of times it has lost some apps but usually it just starts up again fine but it's very annoying. Sometimes it gets stuck in a boot loop too.
A Google search for random reboot or random shut down brings up a lot of results but no solution's, so it seems to be a common problem. It's not just the stock rom either as it still does it when rooted and running other roms.
I have updated my Walton Primo RM 2 via WiFi once. Then I've rooted my device. Now it says "Your system is damaged. Wireless update is disabled" whenever I try to update via wirelessly.
I know that you can not get official updates normally after rooting your device. So. I tried unrooting the device, but still showing the same error message.
I've cleared data of FOTA update provider and tried again. Didn't work.
I did the root using KingRoot and other than this issue, my phone works fine.
How can I solve this problem. Is there a option by which I can delete some system files using root explorer to solve the issue? Other than flashing a new custom ROM what can I do?
Seem problem with Lyf flame 1
No one on XDA who can solve it
HI folks.
I'm the owner of a Moto G3 that I tried (unsuccessfully) to root. I managed to reflash the correct firmware to the phone so that it at least worked. I'm currently running Android 5.1, but I'd like to install Android 6 which was installed. Unfortunately, everytime I try to do the update, it downloads and starts the install, reboots (or tries to, it goes to the bootloader screen on reboot every time) several times, and ultimately says update failed. I'm assuming the two issues (booting to Bootloader screen and refusing the update) are related - but I don't know how to fix either of them!! Id like to be able to return the phone back to completely stock with Android 6 running, and with the bootloader unlocked so I can have another bash at rooting at another time.
Help please!!!
