Alternative Fast/Quick Charger for P9000? - Elephone P9000 Questions & Answers

This one is offered by elephone:
https://www.elephonemobile.com/products/elephone-p9000-fast-charger-quick-charger
the specs are available and following the PE+ standard:
Type: FAST Charger
Model: APS-K1015WE-G
Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 0.5A Max
Output: 5V/7V/9V/ - 1.67A; 12V - 1.25A
Since the elephone price is pretty high for a "charger" ...Is there any alternative fast charger you tested and that is working with >50% per hour?
Thx and br

Advice about different chargers regarding the mA, please

Hi.
A while back I got one of the supposedly oem wall-to-mini-usb chargers for my MDA off of ebay, it worked fine until yesterday and then the miniusb plug end came apart and won't go back together right. Cheap pos.. and it was cheap.
So one of my buddies gave me a spare charger but before plugging it into my MDA I thought I'd see if I was going to make the battery or the phone explode 1st.
The "oem" one (Cellet) that worked until it broke says
INPUT: 100-240V 47-63Hz 0.2A
OUTPUT: 4.5 - 9.5V MAX 0.8A
The Motorola one says
INPUT: 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.15A
OUTPUT: 5.0V 550mA
I am really bummed about the price for a 'real' one from T-Mobile store, it's like 25/30 bucks, so I hope this will be ok, but I wanted to get the advice from the experts here.
Please and thanks!

Well the input part means what input it will take and they are both just about the same.
Now the output should be alright the first charger gave 800mA output current whereas this one gives 550mA but that shouldnt be a problem and the output voltage is about right aswell. So i think it should be fine! But dont blame me if it explodes!!! (eventhough i think there is next to no chance of that!!)
Good luck!
Both are perfectly safe, and well within the limits of the output of a standard USB 2.0 port. However, neither puts out enough current to jolt a truly dead wizard battery back to life...the Cellet comes closer at .8A. OEM Wizard chargers have a 1 amp output. Don't run your phone completely dead, and you won't have any problem using either of these chargers, providing they stay in one piece long enough to charge your phone...

Is this charger OK? Need some input.

So I got a new charger that says this on the back:
Delta Electronics, Inc.
AC Adapter HTC P/N: 79H00051-02M
Model: ADP-5FH C
Input: 100-240V ~ 0.2A 50-60Hz
Output: 5V -- 1A LPS
Efficiency Level: IV
Do you think it's ok to use it with my Touch HD?
Thanks
The charger that came with my HD als has 5V/1A output, so I'm quite sure that it will work just fine
all chargers with 5volt and miniUSB which can supply more then 0.5amps
are ok
but if it's only .5amps charging will take longer as it does with charging over usb

[Q] Xperia Z Tab USA - Bringing to Europe?

Just a quick question regarding whether or not I'll need a transformer to protect against the voltage differences from USA and Europe? Or is this Device compatible with 220v as well as 110v (USA)? Would love if someone that has the device could check if the charger says it is dual voltage
Thanks!

The OP asked about the tablet's charger, not it's USB port.

Samsung Adapter alternative?

Hello, im new with Xiaomi phones so i came here to ask for some advice.
i bought a Xiaomi Mi a3 (obviously ) 2 days ago and noticed that it was capable of Fast Charging.
18W fast Charging. but inside the Box it only has a 10W charger.
the specs of the 18W xiaomi Charger is:
Input: 100 - 240V~ 50-60Hz 0.5A
Output: 5V -- 2.5A [12.5W] / 9V -- 2A [18W] / 12V -- 1.5A [18W]
I have my Old Samsung Note 5 Fast Adaptive Charger 15W (i think) specs:
Input: 100 - 240V~ 50-60Hz 0.5A
Output: 9V -- 1.67A [15.03W] / 5V -- 2A [10W]
Question is, Is it ok to use the Note 5 Charger?? I will still use the Xiaomi type C Cable.
Note: i think xiaomi uses Qualcomm Universal Quick Charge technology, While Samsung Uses its own for Adaptive Fast Charging. so i don't know if it will damage the battery or something.
Reason for asking is: Information. i just wanted to know if it's Okay and not be Harmful before trying. But just in case i think i'll order a Xiaomi 18w Charger.
(bonus question: to those who Have an 18w Charger. a lot of test on youtube about the 18w Charger not really faster than the 10w charger. is it really worth the buy/faster??)
thank you. :highfive:
that's kinda quick 1:40min 10-95% . actually i joted down my 1st Charge yesterday night.
10% battery - time 9:47
66% battery - time 10:48 (44 mins till Fully charge. [phone said])
100% battery - time 11:43 (this last one i don't really know, . . . . i was watching a tv show and just realized the time and thats when i looked)
so i guess 1hr 56mins kinda more or less i guess using the 10W charger. . . . if what you said is true then next charge i will try using the 15w samsung charger and post the time.
Results of using Samsung 15W(ish) Adaptive Charger [Original Charger Note 5]
10% battery - 5:51 pm
11% battery - 5:52 pm (did a double check hehe)
100% battery - 7:24 pm
So it took 1 hr and 33mins. , can someone tell me their 18w Charger Test Results?
Just buy a 18watt charger.
Does someone tried to monitor Quick charge how does it work? Which type our phone use ? 5V 3A, 9V 2A or 12V 1,5A?
I'm on PE and with stock kernel qc doesnt work, but if I use bit kernel it goes 5v 3A.

Question Charging speed with USB-PD chargers?

What charging speeds can you get with QC, USB-PD or USB-PD PPS chargers? Higher than 7.5W / 5v 1.5A at least?
I see OnePlus lists it's charging speed as "18W Fast Charging (9V/2A)". And 9v doesn't match the 5v or 10v that I've read Dash/Warp/VOOC has used. So I'm hoping that means it supports more that just Dash/Warp.
If the nord n200 does require only Dash/Warp, anyone know which version?
According to this link:
https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/u78u1o
The "PD" indicator on a cable with integrated power meter lights up, so the author thinks it is USB-PD.
Getting 10.2W (8.88v 1.15A) with QC. Battery was at 75% though. Have to test further at a lower charge level.
Used a Motorola "turbopower" USB-A charger, model: SC-22, which apparently does Qualcomm QC. Labeled as capable of 15W, 5v 3A, 9v 1.6A or 12v 1.2A.
~edit~
16.3W (8.94v 1.83A) via Qualcomm QC with a different cable and the battery at 10%. Max rate my charger is capable of.
