First off all sory for my poor eanglish.
I bought Nubia z11 mini for my wife. She wanted exactly this phone.
Now i have a big troble with software. The phone have a strange software without google account and play store. Instead has a nubia account but I can't set up an nubia account.
Without google account and play store I cant't istall for example skype which is necessary for my wife.
Sorry for abuse but I heven't got idea how i can change the software in this phone. Plese help me and give me an advice in this prolem

You will need to root thew phone, then use another recovery (TWRP - details also on this page) to flash the google apps, which you can get from here:-
http://opengapps.org/
Use chrome and auto translate it, have a good read through, make a list of the steps you need to take, download the necessary files/packages and take your time.
If I get some time, I may make a package, which makes it easier to root, reboot it into twrp (without flashing it to the phone) etc.

Unfortunately, I am not an advanced in changing software or rooting phones. I'm afraid that I will be blocked the phone after a failed attempt. Chinese translation may be inaccurate or unclear.
You first need to root and then add Google Play. Search in the official blog of nubia online shop (nubiamobileshop) for the following terms. They are translated in English and have screenshots, so you will not have a problem. I'm a new user and I cannot post direct links.

i have bought z11 mini from amazon.in 2 days back and rooted the stock indian jio compatible nubia rom that came installed.
earlier i had used 2 nubia z9 mini as i love nubia phones and there is a proper thread regarding z9 mini's root,rcovery,custom rom,chinese rom,navin rom,radio files,jd vversion etc.
so can anyone here please help me flash some custom roms or nubia stock roms from sites like bbs.nubia or pda.ru or nubia chinese stock.

dual sim not working

my nubia z11 mini dual sim is not working after using jio sim.
if Jio Sim is placed in slot 1 both the networks working properly. but if i placed any other network except Jio Sim, only slot 1 is working properly, there is no network shows is slot 2.

3- boot in recovery (power button + vul up) and install gapps for andrid 4.2.2 w w w.teamandroid.com/gapps/

Now you have google play working!
About Wifi problemes: i have a workaround -> do not use dhcp, put a static ip on phone or use a reserverd IP on dhcp server (unbelivable BUT IT WORKS!)

As you now gladly own a Nubia Z7 Max model,I have still some doubt about uncleared specs of Nubia Z7 Max.So,bro pls kindly help me with it.Here are my questions which are as follows:
1)Does Nubia Z7 Max Supports MHL 3.0?
2)Whether the Nubia UI 2.0 in Z7 Max supports NTFS Format?
3)Whether Nubia Z7 Max supports SnapDragon's Fast Charge 2.0?
4)Whether 13MP Rear Camera of Z7 Max,has the capability to shoot videos @ [email protected]?

I think Nubia officially mentioned none of the stuff you listed, 4K video maybe not supported , and according to last nubia phones, official OS upgrade is not so satisfying, but I guess it will at least receive android L .

I checked the official website, didn't see the support of 4k shooting, and none of the feature you mentioned.

First of thanks for replying me,you will have to click 拍照(O Pictures) in that nubia chinese website & scroll down fully down in images you could see ISOi,HDR & 4K Support.
And ZTE CORPORATION has confirmed in their Official fb page that they are gonna release Nubia Z7 Max in India by around October.

hello ! i just received some days ago my Z7 Max from lenteen.fr, this phone is just ****ing awsome! without doing anything, my phone is stock rooted, with all gapps installed (full package) with a rom multilingual (the Nubia ROM, without any chinese bloat,

by the way, in the network setting you can choose on what kind of network (HDD-LTE, FD-LTE, CDWMA, GSM...) you wanna work by order of preferance LTE/CDWMA/GSM by example.. i have the 4G everywhere ! this is possible with the Free Mobile network (HDD-LTE) .
On the "free config panel" by logging on the website interface the 4G is not activated because he say that my phone is not compatible with this kind of network (of course this is not true but Free Mobile don't recognize the phone as a 4G one)
i also was a iD to modify the build.prop with a editor to change the phone model and let the network believe that this is another phone, such as a Galaxy S5 who work without any mod on the network.
so here is my opinon on this phone who is really good, battery, camera, look, screen, sound.... i was with a Galasy S3 32G before.
if somebody want a dump of my rom, i can try to install a custom recovery and make a backup. i don"t want to change the rom now, this is just perfect :good:
some custom rom are already coming, custom cwm and TWRP recovery too, and for thoose who know how to use the search button you will find a post about the Z7 mini on Xda who give some good tips too.
btw i also confirm the MHL 3.0, 4K video and more and more....

This phone is brand new and is the WCDMA version of the Golden Warrior. Best value 4G and spec available in mu opinion.
I had the phone delivered to the UK today from China.
I can't for my life root the phone using any method. I also tried to flash the TWRP from china but no luck. Just goes to the original recovery.
It doesn't come with Gapps which is what I am trying to load.

I did. If found the SP flash tool and a tutorial on how to flash the chinese recovery. Worked perfectly. I am now rooted and loaded up Gapps.

You have to flash the recovery twice in a row. There is root and gapps in the same forum.
You need to use Google Translate if you can't read chinese.

Can you upload the files and send us the links?
The files I am downloading from the Chinese website are corrupted.
(also if possible to give guide on the chinese TWRP, and what to do with it).
Also it will be very helpful if you could send the exact URL to the Root guide
and the exact URL for the how to install gapps guide.

I'll be needing this in a few weeks, I ordered one yesterday. Coming from an iPhone too, so it'll be a bit different for me, I wanted a cheap powerful 4G/LTE handset and this seemed to fit the bill quite well.
the phone ain't really that great, my piece has at least one dead pixel, shiny slippery back is just horrible (waiting to buy as soon as possible some replacement), headphones output is just horrible with constant noise/hiss not possible to listen unless you are deaf (compared to zero noise in TCL S950), brightness of display is quite weak (again compared to TCL S950) and let's not forget heavily customized Androd 4.4.2 with tons of crappy Lenovo software (unlike Coolpad F1 which has AOSP Kit Kat), but at least after root you can disable the evil Lenovo app Security which will try to make you commit suicide (btw. don't upgrade it, unless you speak Chinese, since Lenovo engineers are so amazing they can't even provide English from within the update and let's not forget horrid English localization in general and missing any other languages than Chinese and English)

Whole ZIP package is misding only USB driver which is not rrally necessary and its on plenty of websites to dpwnload.

I am sorry but because of Recaptcha I must post from mobile (where I have free proxy only for few mins), so can't write long posts and they are full of typos, if you have questions better write on my blog.
Open MTK flash tool, change language to ENG which should there already as well in Settings/General/Download "DA DL All with checksum" should be checked. Then just choose as Download-agent MTK Allinone DA bin which is supplied together with MTK flash tool and Scatter-loading file choose alston_fddopen which is in TWRP Recovery folder. Whole process of flashing 2 times is quite straightforward, only major thing which needs to be said is that battery needs to be removed to completely shut down phone (and do this also when phone starts automatically booting after successful flashing), otherwise it didn't worked for me no matter how many times I successfuly flashed phone there always stayed original Lenovo recovery.

Hahah, I see the guy added also photos for Chinese TWRP for international users, since he saw my posts there. Not sure what is possible to see wihout registration to forum. Here is my screenshot how it should look after successful flashing when you can remove battery and do it for 2nd time and then after 2nd time boot into TWRP recovery.

Btw. yesterday I already tried Xposed, but it informed me that A806 is running probably Aliyun OS (CN crap) fork of Android so it's not recommended to install Xposed to avoid bootlops and other things, which I am not missing since it's similar situation with TCL S950 my wife has, she can't run anything higher than Xposed 2.3.1 otherwise it would end up in bootloop, but at least it seem like proper Android and not some Chinese fork.

No, you CAN NOT flash A806 firmware into A808T and vice versa, they are different. But there are actually tons of A808T ROMs on Chinese websites, much more than for A806 which is not that popular option in China. You should also know that 3G and 4G in your phone will work ONLY in China, everywhere else in world you have just 2G phone even without 3G.

I have a ZTE Nubia Z7, just Z7 the 2K screen version (NX506J), not the MAX or the Mini.
I recently upgraded to Android 5.0 by downloading Nubia's latest build (2.05) on the Nubia forums (cant link, I'm new)
Had to install 2.03 first then flash this but either way it worked fine but no Google Play Store.
Simple enough right... well I've tried everything, all versions but when Google Play Services are installed it just constantly crashes every second, popping up "Unfortunately, Google Pay services has stopped."
Doesn't seem many people opt'd for this version of the handset so struggling to find support.
Any ideas? I've ran out.

So looks like installing the app this way isn't going to work anyway.
Flash the gapps.zip right? no... just fails.
Reckon it's probably because the Nubia recovery isn't very good.
But there isn't a CWM or TWRP for this handset

After 5 days of trying I have finally got all gapps installed and working! Woohoo!
My suspicions were correct the Nubia recovery was just unable to flash the gapps.zip properly.
Thankfully some lovely man on the Nubia forum has created a TWRP recovery for this handset.
Found it hiding around, by chance really, I cant post link because I am new but if you search for the Nubia forums (they are in Chinese) find the handset list. The Z7 is in the "other handsets" and keep scrolling
.exe run, hit option 2 and phone reboots into TRWP recovery, flash gapps.zip, wipe cache, all done! Happy days.

Could you please post links to download these updates, and if possible instructions to install them?
This TWRP doesn't work for Nubia z7 NX506J, it is designed for NX507J. It didn't work for me.

Hi guys. In case anyone is still looking, i have a link for a TWRP for Z7 (NX506J) for the android 5.0 versions (2.03 / 2.05). www . muzisoft . com / recovery / 181830.htm
I have been using it until recently when i updated my firmware again (they posted a new update last month) Nubia UI 3.83 with android 5.1, and now my problem is i don't have any custom recovery and cannot install gapps .
So if anyone happens to find a new recovery for the android 5.1 Z7 (version 3.83) i would be grateful if you posted it here.

guyz i am writing this because i am big fan of rooting and custom rom but since i bought nubia n1 i am not able to find how to root and twrp roms etc about this model kindly any one who knows how to root this mobile and about cutom rom on this mobile please revert and those are devlopers kindly do the needful and create some devlopment page for this mobile.

Hi Nubia N1 users,
unfortunately I bricked my Nubia N1 an now I am looking for some help to get it back to life. At the moment it is impossible to boot the N1 to system or to recovery. Booting to bootloader is possible, developer options are turned off, so no USB debugging possible and switch for Bootloader OEM unlock is turned off.
I guess my only chance is finding another friendly Nubia N1 user, that will make a full SP-Flashtool Readback from his device, that he might share with me. My N1 ist the NX541J with 3GB/64GB of memory. Hope someone will help me. THX

Got my Nubia N1 working again with hours of help from @jemmini (4PDA and XDA). So far so good :highfive:
Now I got a chinese Nubia N1 3/64GB with a chinese Android 5.1 ROM. There is a international Android 6 ROM for download @ Nubia.com/de website available. When I flash this ROM with Stock recovery, the phone starts after flashing, but the touch is not longer working. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

On 4PDA one of variants of the decision of a problem is described:
1. Reward the TWRP.
2. In the cleanup section, select the formatting, then immediately all the wipes except the drive and SD card (no wipe formatting was performed).
3. Right from the TWRP menu, change to fastboot and flash the stock recovery.
4. In the stock recovery, flash at 1.20.

what StockRecovery exactly? The one from my phone, or do I need a StockRecovery from global ROM? Thx

Hello!
I've got Sharp Aquos XX3 mini 603SH with Android 7 and pre-installed SoftBank software, but I tried to find a newer version of firmware.
There are two ways of upgrade: to recieve a new version by wi-fi in Japan and download a custom rom.
The first one is out there: (try to search "AQUOS Xx3 miniをAndroid™ 8.0 にアップデートできます", unfortunately I can't post links, I'm newbie here )
I can't recieve the wi-fi update because the phone requests an original USIM with contract, but the phone is unlocked.
The second way is not easier because I can't find anywhere where can I download a custom rom.
I've found just several sites where the update is mentioned: sharp developers (search "sharp developers Aquos Xx3 mini Oreo LineageOS 15 Mod") and Dian Ariyanto's blog (search "POSTS ABOUT SHARP AQUOS XX3 MINI Dian Ariyanto").
According to these sources I need TWRP, GAPPS and ROM, but I can't download them from anywhere.
So maybe someone got this files or straight links to it, or knows another way how to update this device?

So, it seems to me that all of the news about updating this cellphone (except oficcial) is something like fake.
Or somebody knows any other way to upgrade this device being not in Japan?
