yes, I have root and TWRP for it (CF-AutoRoot for 5.0.2 and TWRP 3.0.2)

Nothing has changed much just app icon, new download booster, and a few more.
Not likely the 6.0 that A7 2016 has.

Does anyone have an installable version of the stock Mms app with the updated icon? I'm referring to the one on the 2015 X and the one that the 2013 X got when it got 5.1 . Thanks in advance!

Thanks for taking the time to do this. It won't work I guess it needs to be properly ported or something.

I just put in priv-apps, in system, changed permissions and now is working fine.

How do you install them? I would like to get the new messaging app as well, and the new Moto Display with the Music settings. I need help with the priv-app permissions. I would be really grateful!! I am rooted on my moto x 2nd gen Pure Edition, but I have android 4.4.4 stock Rom on it, if it would work on that rom????

That was covered earlier (see post 10). And the apps are developed for and from a 5.1.1 ROM.

My phone is xt1095(pure edition in 5.1).l love new message too!And i used mms which post 8 offered covered the original one in priv-app/mms.And also changed permissions.The message dose worked but when i change the state of mobile network the system will say "Unfortunate,Messaging has stopped."How can i deal with it!thank you!

Yeah same here n flyme and h2 are like miui so don like them if i woul have liked miui then. Have gone for mi4 which is cheaper and have sae specs

Can you just upload your phone rom.. there is to much to work for to make these mods work. Pls dude. I would try it. So we can just flash it instead of making it all?

If you are interested, you can pm me Im noob too but atleast can compile and mod a rom using kitchen and change stuffs, there is a rom called nougat me based on cm7, I ll be very happy to work similar something for stock based users! cheers if you say yes (though these days am very busy for exams :'( )

Okay release your mods first, then I ll take a stock based rom as base, will take r_fenzz's frameworks, and your mods, then I ll combine all and make changes, after that I ll release it on XDA and will mention your name in credits and will mention your thread link for mods , sounds good?

already pushed it, but theme selection is not appear in display setting. im using extreme syndicate (stock nougat based) btw.. gonna try install stock launcher, i just download it.. ill update you later. thx ?

already tested with stock laumcher and it doesnt work too, theme still not appear in display setting menu..
heres attached is my pushed apk folder. is there anything wrong? maybe with permission setting or such?
