Is there any way to make the homebutton vibrate on touch in silent or meeting profile?
On these profiles there is no settings button as in General.
On Meeting profile it says 'Vibrate only' but the homebutton won't vibrate which makes it unpleasant using this mode since there's no feedback.
I know I can create a new profile but then I can't switch between General and the new profile using the shortcut button...

I use the Automatic Profile a lot but occasionally have to manually switch to silent or vibrate using the various toggles found on most roms. The problem is that when I toggle on vibrate etc from the automatic profile and then toggle off again, it returns you to the normal profile rather than to automatic. Does anyone know of a switch that can turn automatic profile on/off in the same way as the many vibrate amd silent switches? I know I can do it through the settings menu but a toggle switch or shortcut would be nice.
When I first got the phone yesterday all was behaving normally. (Ie. Vibrate when receiving call and not during SMS) I then proceeded to configure Widgetsoid and probably accidentally pressed the wrong button on the sound toggle button.
As you are aware there is clearly no option to select "Vibrate on/off" in the SMS settings menu, so I was wondering how one could remedy the problem without using Sound Profile to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
I have litening Rom 5 installed & running Go Launcher. I notiiced that when I was receiving text messages or when it was on silent I did not get the vibration alert. I then changed the settings so that the its set to vibration always and the icon appears on the top. However when I go into the pull down screen the sound icon is gone?
All I want is to be able to put the phone in silent and it will vibrate when I receive a text message or a phone call. The same goes when its not in silent. Also how can I tell if phone is in silent mode as its not given me the sound icon on the pull down menu?
Is it something simple I am missing more than likely
Confused
If the option in Dropdown menu is missing then just hold Power button, you will see the first option as Silent mode/Sound is Off/On.
And I didn't get you clearly on the SMS vibration part, just make sure that 'Vibrate always' is enabled under Settings- Sound- Vibration.
Regards.
Is there any way to completely stop volume adjustments in settings like stock "turn off sound" accessibility settings, I find it useful in school, Im open to a root solution
Another option is to disable the volume adjust sound and have an override to mute volume again like some apps but I can't work out how to stop the beep on volume adjust?
Thanks in advance

You can try Volume Control+. When you add the widget choose 'Volume Control+ Silent Switch. One tap on the widget and my volume is silent and locked. You can also set the widget to toggle between normal, vibrate and silent. It's the best I've found and I've been thru most of them. Btw, I use the pro version..so not sure what settings are available in free version.

As you knew, on 3.5.x we cannot lower the system volume to 0 or vib, this is annoying. It broke my Tasker automation tasks.
I found out and tested this workaround for a week and it seems solves my problem. Hope it can help you, too.
To set to vibrate even on Ring mode:
- Go to Alert slider settings, enable Ring
- Install AutomateIt
- Create a task (screenshot) (Action: silent mode)
- Done, you can set an automatic trigger for it when you go to work/school, or put a widget on your home screen to trigger it whenever you want.
To escape from vibrate on Ring mode:
- Just press vol up key
OR
- Using Tasker to automate it
FAQ:
[?] Why have to use 2 automation apps?
- Because Tasker cannot do the first, AutomateIt cannot do the second one and vice versa (or maybe I don't know how to setup yet)
