If you follow the instructions by Murkiness, you should be able accomplish what you are looking for. My only issue is when you disconnect with android, the disconnected cloud notification on watch, remains there which is really annoying.

1) You can receive notification on iPhone only if you disconnect the android device. Lightblue will still be connect and you will receive notifications (disconnect android cloud will appear and remain there though)
2)Yes all those apps should remain there but I am not sure if all of them will work

Basically follow those steps I linked you above. Those steps allow you to have both android and ios connected. So while the Android is connected, just install the apps you want on the android and it should transfer over to the watch. As of now, I know Google maps does not work with iPhone. After that, you can disconnect the android and the watch will remain connected with ios and you will continue to receive notifications.

Do to recent events, and after many hours of searching without any useful result, I decided to try making a simple app which instantly deletes/wipes all the data (without any prompt or warning) on your phone (e.g. if your phone gets stolen or you get mugged and you had much sensitive data on it.), formats everything or even messes up the whole device (so the thief can't use it anymore).
But my question is, is something like this even possible?
1. Is it possible to initiate formatiing/wiping with the Android SDK or something else?
2. Is it possible to make an app which can't simply be deleted or still remains after flashing the device?
3.Is it possible to remotely "push" the app on your phone and execute it? (I'm thinking about installing it via the Google Play website and setting the trigger (?) for starting the app on every possible event to instantly delete everything??
4. I guess this needs at least Superuser-rights..?
5. Maybe "we" could start with just automatic and instant ext.-SD card fortmatting?
Another idea is to have two apps:
one which is installed and allowed by the superuser-thingy to execute the wipe
and another one which you can remotely download or "push" via web and doesn't need Superuser-rights, whichs triggers the first app to start wiping so the thief can't deny the superuser promt..
I think this would really help and would've helped me a lot because there are only a few apps like this but afaik they all need a SMS to be triggered but what if the thief takes out/swaps the SIM card?
In my opinion android would seriously need an app like this.
If ur device mfg is samsung Plz read about samsungdive ...i can remote lock .remote wipe .remote location of ur device ...... Search in google or xda samsungdive.com
Check ur setting >location and security .. Hare u find remote control
Sent from my GT-S6102 using Tapatalk 2
yea I know samsungdive but as far as I know it doesn't remain after flashing and I think you can't install if you have a custom rom.
A answer to one of those questions would be really cool (secret bump)
Hello everyone !
I have a problem that may have been addressed many times before. I do apologize, but the search didn't bring me needed answers. I also apologize for any bad english.
Here is the deal :
I am concerned with the "background data" the android os transfers via my mobile internet.
I rooted the phone, cleared all the useless .apk's from /system/app folder (even removed google play and as much of google stuff as i could), installed DroidWall and set very strict firewall rules ...
And still when i open data usage in settings menu, i see "android os" transfered 6.6mb in past 20 days. WHAT is that stuff ?!
I only use internet for stock e-mail, naked browser, internet radio, and wolfram alpha. Only those 4 applications should ever use the internet. I wish that not a single byte of data is ever EVER transfered besides the needs of these 4 applications. I do not want "Android Os" or any other background process connecting to any server on the internet "behind my back".
I am not very experienced in android os. But if it is required, i will learn how to flash another rom, to cook rom, learn and do anything i can to take COMPLETE control of the bandwith, if it is possible. Is it ? If it is, the main question and the reason i posted this thread is : HOW ? Just please do not assure me that that data is nothing to worry about, or ask me why do i care. If you can say nothing about solution, you can not help me.
The device is 2011 Xperia Pro (mk16i) and android version is 4.0.4
Thanks in advance !
There are some data between your phone and google server. Recall some phones have feature to disable background data. Not sure whether your phone have it.
You could try some tool to monitor what application creates link.

There is a built in tool "Data Usage" in the settings. It shows the 4 applications that i use with internet + Direct Push that checks email from microsoft server + Android OS in the list as well. I guess all the stuff going on "behind my back" is packed into Android OS. What tool do you suggest ?
There is "restrict background data" option. But when i select it - i get the warning that some apps will not work unless connected to wifi. The last part of this warning indicates to me that Aroid Os will still send the data. But only when connected to wifi. And i dont want it ever to send any data. Why would any data be sent to google server ? I disabled all synchronisation with google ...
You could also use the tool network monitor https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmm.networkmonitor which wrote by my friend. It could find which application using your network. And could display the peer address.
I think some google application such as gtalk service are connecting google server background. No choice.

I am trying to find an application that will share notifications between two android devices via Bluetooth.
heres the scenario.
i have a note 3. its my main phone.
i have a full fledged android powered watch (Iconbit Callisto 100 SW).
I want my phone to send all notifications to the watch.
I first thought of an app called tablet notifier... i find it lacking though ...
is there something better? something obviously that would have a host and client (client on the watch and host on the phone)

This is exactly what I am planning on doing. Have you found any better solution yet?
ALSO how is that watchphone? Battery life, etc? (I'm still trying to find the best one out there)
I would suggest one of my own apps to share notifications which are in same wifi network...its called anywhere notifications. You can find it in google play and in a post in this same forum.

Hey there!
Have you managed to do this in a better way??
Cheers
Hello!
So, I am having a big, big problem. I flashed too many ROMS until now, but on all of them I have same problem: the battery drains too quickly and that is because of Bluetooth which is all the time switched on and so, the android wear app which is listening.
And I need this. Because that's why I bought the watch.
I want to have 1 day of battery for watch and for phone. That's all. And with bluetooth and data enabled for the whole day...
I want to get rid of Android WEAR. And to have other apps that send the notifications to the watch.
Can I have this? Or I'm stuck with Wear?
Thank you....
Other details:
Phone: Lg g4 H815, Resurrection remix 5.7.4 build from 23.10.2016
Smartwatch: Moto 360 2nd edition = bought 1 month ago
ANdroid Wear: 1.5.0.3129099
Google play services: 9.8.77
ANdroid OS: 6.0.1
Reply to my own post:
It is NOT possible. You have to use Android Wear App so that it sends the notifications and other data to your watch.
THere is still a hope from the microG project... but there is a long way until then... (https://microg.org/)
Wait until Android Wear 2.0

And then? Android Wear 2.0 is different at this subject (meaning functioning without Android Wear app, Google Play services etc) ?

AFAIK you can consider the watch as another device,
Notification will send directly to the watch via WiFi or Bluetooth
But most importantly, it still need your phone if there isn't WiFi and the phone will keep awake
You better buy LG watch as it has LTE support if you really concern about the battery…
I wonder if its possible to connect amazfit to multiple devices imagine i have my phone that is connect to amazfit at the moment but i would like to connect to my tablet to .
Is this possible ???
What Amazfit device are you talking about? The watch/Pace? Probably not, because the Amazfit Watch app requires reading a QR code for pairing, and it's not trivial to get it shown after it's already paired. But why would you like to do it? You can try and tell us, after you find out how to show the QR code after the match is paired. And if you explain why you'd want this, maybe there's something else you can do to communicate the watch to two devices...
no.
I have it connected to 2 phones.
If I remember right I just installed the Amazfit app on second phone and logged in with my account.

You sir are right. Thank you very much!
It can but you are a bit limited in options I think.
You can connect it to a phone and BT headset at the same time (Stratos at least). I haven't tried to connect it to many other devices because what's the use?

At work I have 2 phones with me all the time, my company issued and my personal phone. I want to get notifications on both of them on the smart watch.
Can you test please if it will work?

I don't have my Amazfit watch anymore, so can't test.
I'm using a Fitbit Ionic now, but miss my Amazfit sometimes..
Watchdroid app can be used for notifications, cant that be used on multiple devices?
in case you try to connect to android and iphone same time with amazfit app stratos watch you get a notification to uninstall in android first
To summarise:
1. You can connect two devices to the same phone, at least as long as they are different models. Here is a video with Pace and Stratos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBmSwKN058E
2. You cannot connect the same device to more than one phone. As a work around, you can try to use Amazfit app on one phone and WatchDroid on another (or WD on both, maybe it works). Be aware that it might decrease battery life.
Original question in thread again. Can you connect Amazfit Stratos to an android tablet or IPad instead of your phone? Why? Screen too small on phone for my eyesight.

If you can install and login to Amazfit Watch app, then you can (the tablet must have Bluetooth 4.1 - aka BLE - and a camera, of course, or you can use a workaround to transfer the watch to your account on the tablet).
