Just rooted 4.4.2 i527 at&t using kingoroot desktop version how do i go about getting a custom recovery on it now?
there is no stable recovery for the At&t version of the mega 6.3. locked bootloader!Verizon note 3 and S5 have unlocked bootloader hack. maybe it will spill over to the locked down att galaxy mega. But its an old phone so dont expect much love

If you manage to flash anything to an i527 without a recovery you let us all know, and that doesnt take into account the locked bootloader. I you get past both of those, you would be a super hero to all.
If you cant, let us know and we will all congratulation you on your brand new brick.

hello all ! i am not new to the site, but fairly new to rooting, i have been running my s4 on the echoe rom s5 port for a year now. i now want to root my husbands phone as well, and am looking fir a decent link to the proper place to find this info.
i prefer the odin method, and i prefer the twrp recovery. any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is a One-Click app that you can download directly to your phone called Kingoroot and Kingroot,
Kingoroot supports Android v5.0.2 (Lollipop),
Kingroot might be able to root it too.
You might have to flash an older firmware.
None of them works with Android 7.0 so it's out of the question...
I've Personally never seen them work for 7.0.0, 7.0.1, 7.1.1, or Marshmallow either.
But you could try Flashing an older ROM.
