After hours of searching and flashing roms I've decided to give in and start a thread:
I downloaded a jelly bean rom, using CWM, It then preceded to install. Stupidly I didn't opt to factory reset and wipe everything (I thought CWM would take me to recovery mode before flashing the rom). That left my phone in a boot loop. I then flashed a stock rom (4.0.3) but it still was boot looping.
From the past few hours I've spent in these forums it seems by best bet it to flash a rom that has all the parts (phone, csc, modem etc) but I can't find one anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find one or of any way of getting into recovery mode? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
Device: Samsung Galaxy S II - UK - O2 (Was running CM9 before I ruined everything).

Hi mate,
The best thing for you to do is enter download mode (hold volume down+home key+power) and connect to Odin and flash an official firmware again
I know that XWLP7 contains everything in the 1 file as this is the one I flashed. Simply place the file in PDA section of Odin.
check out this thread:

Good luck mate!!
Thanks for the reply. I had tried flashing a stock rom a while back but to no avail. A couple tries later and it worked - I'm now running Jelly Bean but more importantly I have a working phone!
For anyone having similar problems (which seemed to be a few). Just keep flashing stock roms and remove the battery a few times, cross your fingers and at some point you should be able to get into recovery mode to do a proper install. Also I was mistaken about it being a boot loop, I was actually just stuck on the starup, galaxy s II, screen.
But anyways, cheers for your help.
Hallo everybody
I have a Galaxy S2 I9100P (Orange UK) stuck at boot screen
I was running CM 10 (Android 4.2.2) with the latest dorimanx kernel. Phone was freezing a lot though
Therefore I downloaded the stock rom from sammobile (based on 4.0.3) and I flashed it via Odin
I am now stuck at the boot logo (the big S)
I tried to flash a new kernel (Siyah) but nothing happened. I cannot access recovery, only download mode
ADB does not see the device
Any suggestion?

Solved flashing stock again, then siyah kernel, then cm9 from recovery (finally it went to recovery mode)
So, problem solved, eh??
Hi, I'm a bit of a noob and just recently switched to android. First off, I went ahead and rooted the tablet and tried to install a custom kernel to my tablet and I may have picked the wrong zip file, I tried to flash it in twrp recovery with the zip file and now the tablet comes on and I CAN still get into recovery but it just won't boot past the samsung logo. I have found another kernel that I wanted to try here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2455058 and was wondering if since I flashed the wrong kernel before and this one is supposed to be for my tablet, will it boot? If someone could give me a hand, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
Hello everyone,
I had CM11 installed on my Samsung galaxy S3 I9300. But I wanted to trade my phone with my dads and he wanted the simple stock rom (Android 4.3). I tried flashing the stock rom on it which went good until the last step when it should reboot itself. But i'm stuck at the samsung logo, I tried everything (pulling out battery, rebooting it, install stock rom again,...).
And I even can't get in recovery mode. The only possible mode in can get in is download mode. What can the problem be? Have I done something wrong? Should I try to install another stock rom from another country? Is there another way to get in recovery mode? I am from Belgium and I can't find the "Belgian stock rom", so I tried installing it from the Netherlands, is that the problem?
Thanks already.
What is the filename of the stock ROM you flashed and which options did you select in Odin?

First thing you should always do after flashing stock rom or any rom that causes a boot loop is to boot into recovery and factory reset then wipe cache this solves 90% of bootloops. Now I know you said you can't get into recovery so try flashing a custom recovery with odin then try booting into that and then factory reset.
Hello all, I recently had a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100, I installed CM11 on it, but It had some bugs, and I bought Galaxy Alpha, so I wanted to give it to my mother, but since she is used to TouchWiz phones, I installed 4.1.2 JB ROM, but device is stuck on boot loop because flash failed? I want to get into recovery, but I have a bit of problem..... , I dropped my phone 4 weeks before this happened, and I replaced shattered screen, but unfortunately I lost power button, and that metal plate is destroyed by pencil I used to lock the device, now I can't boot into recovery, tired combo with download mode reset and vol up + home button, nothing, just samsung logo and boot loop continues, so I tried with adb, but devices recovery is not supported, because I flashed CMR 6.0.5 (that is newest version for GT-I9100) but black screen on boot appeared, so I finally flashed stock rom for the last time 5 hrs ago and nothing, evrything is stock and chache memory also dalvik chache is not deleted, so how can I delete that so I can finally turn device on and set it up? Im not pro\ with Android, just enthusiast so I am mad on myself for doing that, I do not want to waste working device, just how can I delete chache, or can I even fix the phone??

You will have to flash a kernel or recovery that is compatible with stock 4.1.2. Use apolo kernel 4.15 or dorimanx 8.44 v004 and see if it boots up. Look at my create kernel tar from zip guide for pre-made odin kernels.
