Hello,
Just wondering if someone could help me with sorting some sound problems with my Timmy E82 china phone.
I got the following issues at the moment:
- People are having touble hearing me - looking at the settings I think the mic set too low
- While speaking to people normally or using headset mode, at the highest setting I get cracking and sound distortion. Headset mode is worse. So it appears to max sound settings are being cracked up too high.
I've taken a look but there way too many settings for me to be messing with. So I was wondering if someone to could explain what I need to change?
I can provide whatever the default settings are if someone can tell me what they need to know.
Thank you
Same with mine... I use Infinix Alpha Marvel x502 and it has a every low volume when I play songs even with an external output. I tried using Mtk engineering mode and set the Max to 160 still the volume didn't change... Any help please?

Just asking again if anyone could help out, got info to fix the mic problem.
Still stick with poor sound during the headphone mode, all I need is to compare my settings to that of someone who doesn't have this issue on a MTK based phone.
Anyone, please? :cyclops:
Pretty straight forward request, how can I disable the startup sound of Playstation Mobile? I've noticed it's linked to the Ringtone & Notification volume and because of that, it's really inconvenient (such as I don't want to have media volume up but because of what I do I need to be alerted to incoming calls and texts etc) and the sound is rather annoying.
(Please note I'm not rooted at the moment).
Most likely not. Unless you find a rom where it has a separate sound control for apps.

Just updated to .314 (Canada) via Sony pc companion. Does anyone else notice this issue :
This firmware update was supposed to fix the notification volume but it sounds the same to me. When I select a notification sound, the volume is loud on the playback sample. But when I actually get a notification (text email etc), it's much quieter.
Is this just a bug on my end or do others have this issue as well? If it's on my end, would restoring or repairing the firmware via Sony pc companion fix it?

I thought it was my ears... I don't recall whether this happened on previous f/w?
Weird.

Well, I'm on
on .55 firmware, and the notifications doesn't play trough both speakers, also they messed with my music. Check when you receive a notification if it plays trough both speakers.

It plays through both speakers, but it's not as loud as when I test the sample notification when choosing the notification sound.

Agreed - when you use Settings>Sounds to choose a ringtone or notification sound, the "test" output is pretty loud.
Once you receive a notification, the chosen sound is about half what it was when originally selected.
I have switched ascending ringtone on and off and it makes jack all difference.
Bit naff!
Do you mean increasing ringtone option under Settings>Sounds? I would like to test this as well.
Thnx in advance

Yes - seems to make no difference - it's called "Increasing Ringtone" - my bad.
I think I may know what it is but it isn't quite intuitive that Sony could possibly address this.
The playback sample is using the "Music, video games & other media" volume. It's when you actually get a notification or ringing it uses "Ringtone & notifications" volume so you have to adjust them accordingly.
In the case of mine in the screenshot, the volume on playback is louder unless I adjust it, but I left it as is so I don't have to adjust it after adjusting it for a ringtone/notifcaiton.

Sony doesn't mention anything about notification sound!
Hi
I've had my z2 a couple of days and the very first thing I noticed was the very very poor notification volume
While it's became clear this is a common problem and Sony don't seem to care
I have tried several of the mods available to enable stereo notifications to no avail
I'm now on a custom rom which I wasn't really wanting to do because it had the feature in its list Stereo notifications
But again they remain the same
Has anyone has a similar experience with this problem
I've tried the sound mod from olokos
And
MaZaGnGy
I'm now using eXistenZ ROM with stereo sound mod enabled in aroma
Still not happening

Good Morning,
i have the configuration like in the title, android 6.0 b330 in my honor 7.
the only trouble I've found, is the volume too low in the audio files made with whatsapp.
In other apps, the microphone fuzniona perfectly and even called me feel good.
Is there a solution?
thank you
Not that I can assist, but I think this is a MM issue from Huawei, I have to turn volume up on a lot of different apps as it's automatically muted, I didn't have this issue on previous MM build
