Hi!
I was trying to flash DU (Dirty Unicorns). I had to perform a full wipe (including system). When I was going to flash, I saw the zip was corrupted, but I just had a MIUI 7.3.2 backup. I flashed it, but I can't turn on WiFi, because MAC adress appears to be unavailable. I tried with some apps from Play Store, but no results at all. This happened to me another time, but flashing another ROM with full wipes fixed it. The problemas is that I can't download 400Mb now of another ROM, because I al not at home, and I can't use a computer now.
Any idea?
Thanks!!
Regards!!
I have same problem, olease help

This is a common Froyo problem - a reboot usually solves it
I try rebooting, but that don't work. I try reflashing, but when I turn it on my wifi work only for 5 min.
Can anyone help me, please
What version of foliomod you are using?
Did you try to connect to other networks?
Ive also experiencing such problems, but turning off wifi, restart and
turning on after restart usually solved this.
You may try this, but I'm not sure it will solve your problem.
Install Clockworkmod
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=923722)
Go to the Clockworkmod recovery (same way as toshiba).
In clockwork do:
Factory reset
Cache cleaning
Dalvik cache cleaning
Install clean stock rom, factory reset, install foliomod, factory reset
setup folio and check the wifi.

1.I use FolioMod1.4 and also I try with FolioNotion1.2, but no luck.
2.When I turn on wifi it scan. After 5 sec. it say"Unable to scan network" and automaticlly turn off(you have this in first post).
3.Thank you very very much for your help, but Dexter's server is down and I can't download stock rom, FolioMod1.4. or older version. Secondly, Clockwork Mod recavery can't install stock rom.
4.I try to delete and rename to *.bak /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf(see this on other forum) and reboot. After reboot system make same file.
5.But thank's for your help. If you have another idea can you post it here.

Hello,
You've wrote that: Clockwork can't install stock rom,
but what do you mean?
Did you install Clockwork but you dosen't have
stockrom or you were just unable to install Clockwork recovery?
Regarding Dexter webpage, yes it is off, but if you will search
a little bit, you will find out that there is a mirror that
host most of files from dexter webpage.
http://mirror.ddevnet.net/tegra/folio100/folio100
There you have:
Foliostock.zip
FolioModv14.zip

1. That you can't install stock rom via Clock recavery I see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=923722&page=3(post 27)
2.Thank you for page

My only tip is that you need to clean all cache and
user data, especially if you've been using other roms, which
probably left something there.
IMO the best way to do this is to use Clockwork.
If you already have clockwork in update.zip file (link to thread is in
my previous post), put it to your SD card, run Toshiba recovery
as you would with Foliomod, and choose to recovery from SD card.
Now you should have Clockwork, but in order to use it, you need
to rebot and go to Toshiba recovery once again, select to
update from file (again like in Foliomod), but then you
should see Clockwork instead of selected update.zip install.
In Clockwork you use volume up/down and home screen button on
the right as enter, or back screen button on the right as go back.
In Clockwork do the following as Ive wrote before:
Factory reset
Cache cleaning
Dalvik cache cleaning
Later you can install stock rom and folimod anyway you like it.

headblow
1.If I understand, when I install Clocwork Mod I will have 2 recaveries?
2.When I flash stock rom, I can't install customs roms.
Yes but you can go back anytime to Toshiba recovery only.

OK, I install ClockMod recavery and do factory reset. After that I clean cache and Dalvik cache but problem is still here. I try to flash FolioStock with original and ClockMod recavery. I get installation aborted without reason.
I have the same problem, wifi - error.
I tried all the stock firmware - no result, I did factory reset before and after update.
I've tried everything.
My Toshiba has 8 Gb memory.
Please HELP - who have another stock rom? Stock Rom by Dexter Im installed - no result.
Or tell me what should I do?
Thanks to all very much.

Thanks for the pdf. Have been struggeling a while to compile the drivers from scratch. Atm I have imported them into the kernel to compile as a module. But it somehow does not insmod correctly (well, it does insmod, but it seems that it doesn't load the firmware files). Perhaps this pdf has some answers for me.
Firstly Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Secondly I found a bug while using the smartphone revolution rom. I did a full data wipe from CWM recovery and installed the rom and the bloat package, everything was working great but when i tried to change the system font the phone crashed and rebooted but now I cant connect to any of the Google services like google play everything says no connection. I looked online for this but no of the "no connection" fixes worked so please help
Usual advice: check md5 of download, full wipe and reflash. Use latest philz recovery to flash.
bug

Well thank you for your advice.... I knew that I had to wipe and re flash but what I wanted to know was is this a known bug for this room and is there a simple solution to fix it. Anyway I wipe and re flashed everything is working great but will this bug be fixed???
There's no such thing as a bugless rom. Reflash the ROM of a new base, say 4.1.2 latest, root, install philz recovery, use mega wipe, flash rom, reboot. Don't install the stupid bloatware package. It slows the rom down even if you just install a few things.

Have you try reboot the phone into normal Android system? and later try reboot into TWRP, I read somewhere it might work.

Hi guys the solution for my me was doing an entire wipe of everything except recovery then flash rom, it seems that the stock rom of le max was causing that
What was your ROM in the beginning? Was it Indian ROM? Did it have the update manager? Which ROM did you flash after wiping everything except recovery?
I bought the phone from geekbuying with EUI version 5.8.019S (Stable), BUILD: FGXOSOP5801910121S release-keys. It looks like the latest vanilla Indian ROM, but it is most likely vendor-modified since the phone was received unsealed and there is no update manager. The main problem is the encryption - phone is encrypted right from the start without any password or PIN prompts. Factory reset allows to set up everything from the start, but the phone is still encrypted. TWRP asks for a decryption password. I have tried multiple vendor and default passwords with no luck. TWRP factory reset does not prevent the encryption.
This question keeps coming up in forums since people do not seem to search for similar questions. Well, I did. Therefore, I will try to assemble the list related to the encrypted ROM:

https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/help/benefit-form-leaving-x829-to-indian-t3609698
Proposed solutions:
CASE 1: No Update manger + encrypted ROM
Since it is a vendor ROM, you can try flashing a clear stock ROM from recovery that can be downloaded from the official LeEco forum http://forum.le.com/in/eui_detail.html?euiid=206 . It might not directly resolve encryption, but will make the update manager appear, which can be used to upgrade to ROM w/o encryption. If you want to stick to the Indian ROMs, but want to remove encryption - see below
More reading here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/help/update-eui-t3480614
CASE 2: Encrypted ROM
You most likely have an Indian ROM. You can try reinstalling the ROM (TWRP) and immediately wiping the data partition from TWRP. Some users report success with this.
More reading here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...dian-stock-19s-rom-chinese-bloatware-t3484388
One user has found that upon multiple resets with TWRP the encryption seems to be ignored
More reading here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/help/benefit-form-leaving-x829-to-indian-t3609698
Another user suggests Chinese ROMs since they are likely not to encrypt the files. In other words, updating to a Chinese ROM might help.

Have any of the proposed solutions worked for you?
Today i wanted to upgrade from Nitrogen OS android 9 to PixelExperience android 10 and it didn't work at all...
At first i wiped:
Dalivik / ART Cache
cache
system
Data
And now I just don't know what to do, because after flashing PixelExperience, I got the message: "No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?".
After that I flashed disable force encryption and rebooted anyway just to see the fastboot screen.
Then i wiped everything again and tried flashing my old ROM without any success (error 7) after that message,
I wiped everything once more and flashed vendor-firmware (it was an old version the name of the file is: "fw_beryllium_miui_POCOF1Global_V10.3.7.0.PEJMIX")
and it still didn't work...
Now I searched online for any solutions and just downloaded a new firmware (filename: beryllium-9.4.1-9.0-vendor-firmware.zip) flashed it,
and after trying to install any of the above mentioned ROM's i got the same results.
I'm kind of desperate right now and don't know what to do. I though that i could maybe format my phone,
I saved all my important files on my PC so that isn't really a problem.
Please help me! (Please let me know if you need to know more info, I hope I didn't forget anything)

I found a old backup, that i made in twrp and after loading that, i was able to flash stuff again, sorry if i inconvenienced anyone
Same happened with me when i flashed PE 10 from PE 9 PIE..
So i flashed Letest Miui 11 (pie) via fastboot then
Installed PE 10 via twrp..
so this is the fix.
Hi
A couple of months ago i decided to change my battery because it was draining for nothing, before that i tried to downgrade to miui 9 and 10, and it didn't change anything, so i thought that the battery was the problem.
But even after changing the battery, i still had this drain issue, so i thought " Miui 11 and kernel?" , so i downgraded again, flashed the optimusdrunk kernel and nothing !
So this morning i decided to tried another rom, the pixel experience, i didn't wanted to do that in the first place because i wanted to keep features such as native call recorder or screen recorder. But i've rather loose thoses features if that can help with my battery issues.
I follow the steps of this tutorial : https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/development/rom-pixel-experience-t3967593
And after i wiped dalvik, cache, system, data in TWRP, flashed the rom then factory reset, the rom was succesfully installed, i booted the phone, google logo appeared quite fast, then gave me this " Enable Encryption, please wait a while blablabla" , so i wait, at least 15min , so i figured something was wrong right?
So i rebooted the phone after flashing the twrp recovery again (it always dissapeared when i flash a rom i don't know why..), boot into TWRP and i wanted to see if i did something wrong, but i realized that my sd card didn't show up, and all of my roms was not there anymore , and TWRP says that there is no space available (0mb) (because of the factory reset), so i plug my phone into my computer, but i can't transfer anything to it!!
Now i'm stuck with a phone with no system, and no ability to transfer a simple zip file to flash another rom/firmware
Is there any other way to transfer files or flash a rom with adb command ?
Does that have to do with the encyption thing ?
Cheers
