HI All D856/7/8HK Users.
1st of all, I played a bit with fulmics ROM from last 2-3 months. and patched it to work with our Dual Sim Version Devices. Thanks to @xprit for the best ROM on xDA.
I am not the owner of Fulmics ROM but only Mod developer who develops mod so that we can enjoy this ROM for our devices.
Instructions:
1) Download Fulmics Rom 5.1 from original Thread of Fumics Rom
2) Download Fulmics 5.2-5.3 OTA from download page on Fulmics Website
3) Download Sim Mod
4) Download Modem for D858HK
How to Install:
1) Put downloaded Fulmics Rom on your SD card ( do not put it into phone memory)
2) Put Downloaded files (moden + sim) into same folder.
3) go to recovery (TWRP) and backup, System, Boot, EFS and MODEM.
4) wipe Data and Cache
5) Install Fulmics Rom, it will redirect to Aroma installer and select D855 International Model.
6) once installation completed, uncheck reboot and come back to recovery and Restore Boot and Modem and Reboot.
7) once everything completed, (Phone boots up), go to recovery again and Install DUAL SIM MOD to get your signals and dual sim capabilities and flash Modem file with the link provided above.
8 ) Flash Fulmics 5.2-5.3 OTA and reboot your phone and you got Fulmics ROM on your D856/7/8HK.

Thanks for your support I really appreciated it. Kindly let me know how to upload modem and boot as I am newbie with regards to this.
Also, I have managed to install fulmics rom and after flashing the dual sim v4 I got my dual network signal back but I lost baseband like my FM radio is not functioning even I did flash the modem5_6_3. If you have any solution for this, it would be highly appreciated.
Your ROM is really awesome and if you could look and consider the following I have noticed:
FM Radio is not functioning
Getting hot for a while then It goes
When I restart my mobile it shut off sometimes
I lost signal whenever I select the both status (my phone number, model no. IMEI, etc.) of sim card but it goes back normal here’s the error message “Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped”
In view of all the above your ROM is really amazing and bring new life to our dual sim 858hk and hope you consider the above issues. Thanks for everything guys who contributed and supported us specially xpirt.

Thanks for your reply. Is this the same with what GaryfromHK provided in his post? If so, i have flashed this already and i got my dual network signal back and wifi. The only downside i have experienced was the following:
FM Radio is not functioning (even i flashed the modem already)

How is the ROM btw?
I installed it today and everything works ok, except Radio. I try to find the factory LG Browser, any solution? Found apk on internet but it didn't work
also the "com.android.phone" problem exists to me.. And the SIM switch button on bottom of the screen does not work.
Couldn't get this to work with the 6.0 ROM restore i was running but then used below boot and modem for the restore on step 6 and everything works fine now

no sim select button on screen. have not looked to see if you can enable as i use Call Master to auto select sim to use based on contact.
have used notification drop down to select sim and it works.
have not tested radio.
will test when i get home

Finally, we are having CM11 at the normal level. We (andreya108 and myself) were working very hard on CM11 and this the outcome. This is the joint work by both of us so please thank andreya108. There are lot of unknown issues to be tested and fixed but the most disastrous bugs are not present anymore. E.g. uncontrolled processor, reboots, battery drain, unstable GPS etc. From here onwards, we can discuss the issues arisen from long-term use of firmware since before this nobody had used this for daily. We do not claim that this is the complete version hence please do not flood the thread. If you have an issue send a personal message. At this moment, it is only for CN layout. Changing 2G/3G network mode using the Quick Settings toggle is not supported
Restart the phone after first boot.
It could take a while to get the SIM signal if you are in roaming, if not choose operator manually and restart.
Work in progress ... If you encounter problem try to find some apk which can do job for you.

Cyanogenmod for this device was beyond our imagination.
There still little bugs but the most important ones are fixed.
Also if you experience battery drain, it is due to gapps. serach xda to disbale the waklock by google play services using privacy option
Stuck on Lenovo logo. From S226 stock, I did a full wipe i.e. System, Data, Cache, internal, everything except external SD. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
S226 is ROW version ROM. This cm ROM is for CN layout. First You have to flash CN based ROM using flashtool after that only flash this ROM using twrp recovery.

Yes, main bugs are fixed.
Using this ROM. Great ROM.
Till now working as mentioned in your main post. Not found any major bugs.
Can be used daily if cyanogenmod is your priority.

Please backup ur IMEI number. Also note that once ur on CM version and u restore ur IMEI, u will have to follow a process to hard write the IMEI number back to ur phone. Else every time u do a factory reset, it will erase the IMEI

Hi @stympy, thank you for your help. I flashed CM11-B2 successfully yesterday and so far everything seems to be good. I do have one question, however. The MIUI ROM you linked me to apparently disables internal phone memory and moves everything to external SD. Can you please link me to a FlashTool flashable CN based ROM that doesn't do this? Thank you!

Link. One of the best firmware. Unfortunately this one has no TWRP. You can install TWRP by using my tutorial fromQ&A section/Rooting tutorial for kitkat.

Hello and thanks for trying.. So it eventually booted? Supesu can cause those kind of reboots while it sets up. . The cm was was made for Tmobile and international.. You could try to make sure apn is right and change your data connection. Like from 4g to 3g. Sometimes that triggers it. And what modem are you using?
not sure what modem I'm using. Can you point me to one that may fix the issue? also I downloaded the rom you mentioned in the op and it booted with no reboots with your kernel. Reboots happen when I use a cm rom from the sprint side

Then it would probably be due to the sprint CyanogenMod. I can't tell you how stable they are as I have an SM-N920I.. But if you tried the other Cm. Do you get data?

Try checking your apns and that they are correct. And changing.. If that doesn't work.. It might because of sprint device. Fingers crossed.

In install menu select install image(right side) then select img then tick boot and swipe to install. When installing zips select install zip back again
Or install an app called flashify and select that img as kernel and flash
Hi, I got a XT1526 SURNIA, the issue is that I flashed first officials CM14.1, Jamocha & RR and the SIM wasn´t detected with anyone, after I flashed RR Unofficial and the SIM is detected and work properly. I ´d like use Jamocha or CM14.1 but I can´t. What can I do? Why my cellphnone doesn´t detect SIM card on officials ROMs?
I´ll apreciate your comments and recomendations.

Yes I did it, but the problem isn´t the settings, the problem is the no detection of SIM card.
I just flashed the AOSP Extended ROM v3.1 and it goes good so far.
What setting is it set to in setting>more>mobile network>preferred network type?
I've found that setting it to anything but global will not work with a gsm provider. The other modes force and enforce cdma only settings, even when you change it from the 4636 phone menu.
check your IMEI number by *#06#. if its zero it means u r dead (lol) just kidding. first tell me whether it zero or not

I Faced same problems that you are facing so here the solution ..
Open dialer and dial (*#*#4636#*#*) , a testing menu will open now select phone information in there find (set preferred network type) tap on that and select {LTE/UMTS auto (PRL)}
And voila your sim is now detected ..

Take off the sim card of your phone
Flash rom (I´ve made it with AOSP Ext & LineageOs latest versions both) and gapps
Whipe data/cache
Flash squid kernel for surnia (http://www.mediafire.com/file/hunyec9k4kkl4v4/squid_kernel_r19-surnia.zip)
Reboot
Configure network and APN´s
Reboot
Insert the sim card
It worked for me...

I made it work by following some tutorial. Now the sim is detected but 3g does not work. Does it work for you?

Yes, the 3G work properly on my XT1526, my carrier doesn´t support 4G.

Did you tried dialing *#*#4636#*#* and setting the preferred network type on WCDMA only? What rom are using?

Yeah This is only for galaxy on5[sm-g550fy] & It will work on any samsung stock based rom.
Will sm-g550t1 get this eventually?

May be yes if someone provide me the csc of sm-g550t1 . I don't know where the stock rom(sm-g550t1) have VoLTE feature or not.

Ask your service provider if they support VoLTE feature. And you will find it in system directory.
Volte not working it goes in loop and restarts again and again if i follow the steps mentioned above

First make sure that you have flashed the mod right after the first boot of rom and deleting the csc folder in system directory.
It will work fine. If problem persisting then
Please specify the details about the rom you are using.
i tried it again after first boot. i did not have csc folder but again restarting although i did get the volte icon for a moment and then it restarts. it works as i am able to get the volte icon but then keeps on restarting.. i am using enigma rom from xda

I have not tested the mod on enigma rom but you can do factory reset after flashing the mod. and check if it is working or not.
And one more thing if the rom have S-bike mode then possibly it is the reason for the bootloop as I have tweaked the csc and removed annoying samsung bloatware..

I think you didn't understand what is VoLTE..

On5 support only one 4G network and other is 2G at a time so VoLTE will work only with 4G network.

can On5 be configured for both 4G network ?? that is my question. means 4g network enable for both SIM, it is obvious that VOLTE will only run on 1 4G network at a time.
Now in present case we need to switch network manually which take 2-5 min for other SIM to convert from 2G to 4G

Turn off/on the wifi till it gets internet
mobile network is getting on and off repeadetly.

Haven't tried this one yet. But on CrDroid and Ground Zero Oreo have had the no sim issue.
