Just Made my old work compatible with our Redmi note 3
It will work on any 1920x1080 resolution device
Just Flash the zip and reboot

you can flash it on any rom via custom recovery like twrp

The boot animation is totally awesome but I want to revert back to my original boot animation. Please help.
P.s. I'm using derpfest rom unofficial which I downloaded from theandroidguy website.

To be fair to OP, i installed this on Phoenix 6.5 and latest 6.7 and had no issues or FC's whatsoever. I see one above messed up device to be N7105 and not sure about the other. Seems that it doesnt work with N7105 model?

yes this mod doesnt work on N7105 as the framework.jar is different and the code has been infused in framewrok.jar

Then Sri should just edit the OP and mention that this works only for N7100 models and not with N7105. Perhaps that will help a lot of users as this themes section is for both N7100 and N7105 models.

Maybe you can ask the developer to upload it on another file sharing website. I guess there are mirrors for the ROM.
finally, i have created my first boot animation for Lineage OS using Adobe After Effects. hope you guys like it. feel free to give me feedback or suggestion.

Download this archive first lineageOS Boot Animation.zip . here: <Moderator Edit>: Link removed
Download Boot Animations app in Google Play
Add > Install from local storage > Choose lineageOS boot animation.zip

Hey guys, so i just bought this device and here's my first thread!
So PIxel Xl & PIxel Xl2 comes with this new google bootanimation which is kinda slick and i managed to somehow pull this from the system folder..
Pre-requisites- Root ofcourse
STEPS:
1. Copy the downloaded zip to /system/media folder (Backing up the previous "bootanimation.zip"
2. set the permissions to rw- r-- r-- using any root explorer ( solid, mix, es)
3. Reboot & enjoy!!

EDIT- i'll be uploading a flashable zip asap.

No, as the animation isn't a video file. It actually consists of PNGs of 452*150 res which looks quite good on our device's display imo.

I'm on Sky dragon rom 9.0 pie.
Bootanimation works great. Just flash it in recovery.

Oohh, YEA I totally understand. I think this works for Oos too, the guy that made the zip said it's specifically made for 3/3T but I wouldn't flash it until you find a confirmation that it'll work for Oos. Good luck bro

Some reports says that this doesnt work on snapdragon devices!! Tested for EXYNOS variant only

Snapdragon doesn't have twrp. The bootloader isn't unlockable as of yet.

Not true, if you have the g9600 (snapdragon) then you can get twrp on it... (It's what I've got in my hands right now)
