Phone is not rooted and the bootloader is locked. If there is a way to downgrade to official stock 4.4.4 without rooting and unlocking the bootloader, please guide me!!!
Or a way to root XT1022 on 5.1 succesfully and unlocking the bootloader. I signed in on Motorola website to get the key to unlock it, but their site isn't working. Their page becomes blank right after signing in.
I read many other how to root moto e on stock kitkat threads but How to root moto e XT1022 on lollipop 5.1?

Even I have to downgrade from android 5.1 (updated over OTA) to android 4.4.
Please help with detailed process. Do I need to root my phone or it can be done without rooting

u have to flash stock recovery and lock the bootloader again with mdb fasboot mode then u can flash rom,but it may be dangerous so try to flash factory rom with mdb fastboot......download ur factory rom with google and ur model no......
