Root Honor 5x Android 6 - Honor 5X Questions & Answers

I would have rooted my Honor 5x. But I have a problem. I can not unlock the bootloader. In the dev settings there is nothing of "oem unlock". So I can not activate it. If I continue this appears
Error message: FAILED (remote: Necessary to unlock FRP Navigate to Settings> Developer op!).
Android 6
EMUI 4.0
Thanks

Honor 9 Unlock bootloader problem

Trying to get AOSP running.
When trying to unlock the bootloader I get this error
./fastboot oem unlock ******************
...
FAILED (remote: check password failed!)
finished. total time: 0.039s
Anyone got any ideas of what it is?
Honor 9 STF-L09 C432
Running Oreo & EMUI 8
Running MacOS, have tried in bootcamp on Windows 10.
It shows up in fastboot devices, showed up in adb devices before booting into bootloader mode.
OEM unlocking is enabled.
USB debugging is enabled.
I emailed Huawei to check if my password was correct and they sent back the same password. I've emailed them again but haven't got much hope for it.
Any other information can be provided if needed.
Did you not switched 0 and O or 1 and I ?
Did you used funkyhuawei or dcunlock in the past ?

EMUI Brick

Hey,
Five months ago, I decided to flash the EMUI 9 beta on my Huawei Mate 10 Pro (BLA-L29)
Everything was working fine until one day the device didn't want to boot.
I decided to fix the problem by using the recovery but the phone refused to boot to recovery, So I headed to fastboot and I tried flashing EMUI 8 but it gave me the error "Command not allowed"
I then noticed FRP Lock was enabled, I was so stupid to disable OEM Unlocking.
I tried using DC Phoenix with this :tutorial: but It didn't work, I got the error "Device running incompatible security patch", "Command not allowed".
I decided to try the DLOAD method but the phone never booted to the installation process.
Model: BLA-L29
Build number: :BLA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.108(log)
OEM LOCK INFO:
FB LockState: Locked
USER LockState: UNLOCKED
OEM get bootinfo:
unlocked.
I don't know how to solve this problem, Could anyone help me?

OEM Unlock missing in development settings (please help)

Hi
I have very large problem
On my honor 7, in development settings i not see "OEM Unlock" button, why?
My phone haven't frp lock and others..
Please help.
(Sry, my english is not very well)
Hello,
I believe Honor 7 doesn't have that option.
You just have to unlock the bootloader, no further requirements.
Since Huawei doesn't support unlocking anymore, try this (free) method to unlock your bootloader: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/general/free-method-bootloader-unlock-twrp-root-t3934959
Good luck!

Problem With Unlock My Phone's Bootloader.

Hello everyone, I've recently tried to root my Redmi Note 9 (merlinnfc) The OEM in Dev options is turned on, and the only problem is, there's no way to fix the " FAILED (remote: 'Token verification failed') " error message.
I have everything i need, there's the magisk zip on the phone, and i have the TWRP image for it.
The only this i need to do is unlock the boot loader.
Any ways to unlock it? PS: I've tried MiUnlock, my country's unssuported. (It dosen't work. No verification message, turns out my region isn't supported)
Best Regards - FriendlyChemist
Hint: Add "Redmi Note 9" to front of this tread's title thus owners of this device get addressed.

New to rooting. Can I root EMUI 11?

Hi
I've got a Huawei Mate 20 Pro running EMUI 11, Android 10.
I'm able to unlock my bootloader, but is it possible to root it as well?
No, you can't even unlock bootloader while on EMUI 11 (option is not available to enter unlock code in fastboot)

My option to unlock it ain't grayed out. I'm able to turn on the switch, I just don't have an unlock code

Option in Android settings is just first part of puzzle.
The rest two are not currently solvable.
2. Can't get unlock code - Huawei stopped giving them.
3. Unlock command in fastboot is simply NOT PRESENT (Huawei literally removed it in EMUI 11 the hard way)
