Need help unbricking soft bricked Samsung Galaxy Core Prime - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm relatively new to the whole rooting thing, so I figured I'd try to root my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime since it was a spare anyways. I did it with KingoRoot, and it was a success. The only benefit I needed at the time was I wanted to delete one of the bloat ware apps which I made sure none of the apps I or the system relied on. I came to my senses and realized that I shouldn't put a $100 emergency device in danger with no experience so I selected the "Remove root" option in KingoRoot's stock Superuser app and my device restarted and became stuck in (what I think is) a bootloop at the service provider screen and vibrating a few times in quick succession every few seconds. I followed an online tutorial that showed me how to perform a factory reset, and erase other certain parts of the memory and nothing helped. Any tips? Thanks in advance to anybody that responds.
Details:
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Core Prime
Service Provider: Can't remember right now, let me know if this is important
Extra details: I think I've erased everything on my phone, including my dalvik cache, cache, internal memory, internal SD card, etc.

Can you follow these instructions to try to get into download mode?
Start with turning off the Samsung Galaxy Core. There are two ways to get that done: press the Power button once and then select the ‘Switch Off’ option from the menu.
If your device’s screen is unresponsive, you can always long-press the Power button and get your device to switch off.
Now that your Galaxy Core is off, reboot it by holding the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons at the same time.
Wait until you can see some new writing on the Galaxy’s display with a warning symbol down below.
Now release those keys and just press the Volume Up button.
The Galaxy Core will now enter the download mode and get past that warning screen.
If you can get into download mode, your in luck!

[P] Some options and buttons doesn't respond

Hi,
I have used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1171089 to install stock ROM and Recovery.
No I can't access "Settings\Storage and About tablet". I tried Factory data reset but cannot pres the "Reset tablet" button. Same thing when I try to "Power off" the tablet, I can't press "OK" or "Cancel" buttons or any other button.
My problems start 2 days ago when I noticed that Back, Home and all other buttons from system bar doesn't respond or responded after a lot of tries. Strange I could open the Shortcuts t Task manager and all others. Te tablet was in low power mode even if the battery was over 90%. The tablet wasn't rooted and had all updates up to date.
Before all I have tried Factory reset without success.
Next I have rooted the table and tried to install a new ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488596 but the buttons still remained unresponsive. Even more I couldn't do anything because I couldn't press "Accept" button to Licence agreement of Swype. After more research I have installed the stock ROM specified above. Now the Back, Home and Clock works
This is my 3 years old kid tablet and he is crying since the tables broked, PLEASE HELP.

Backup your data, preferrably with titanium backup.
Go into CW recovery. Do a full backup. Then wipe cache, data, and dalvik cache (the third one is in the "advanced" menu). wipe all three again (not necessary, I've heard someone say that this helped. I don't usually do it, but it can't hurt).
Reboot.
If that doesn't fix it, connect your tablet and put a ROM on the root of your tablet (zip file). Disconnect and then do the above steps, but after you've wiped, install the ROM from zip. When it reboots (give it 20 minutes on first boot before messing with it), is the problem solved?
I'm having this problem too. I have completely wiped the memory on the tablet, and have tried many different roms, but nothing seems to help. Can someone please help me?

[Q] My Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i is not working

I have Samsung Galaxy Ace (GTS-5830i). Last week, while checking my emails, it got hanged. I tried a lot but no button was working (responding). So, I restarted it by removing-fix again the battery. But when I restarted it, it gave multiple error windows regarding all the backend processes being interrupted unexpectedly. I took it to Samsung Service Center, but technician there denied doing anything, since the phone was brought from abroad and it was Made in Vietnam piece. He told me to send the phone to the country from where it was bought. I took it to one friend technician, but even he told me the same.
Then I thought of format the phone myself with idea that it might make things like before, but even that option was not working. So I tried it to format by pressing Volume Up/Down+Power+Home Buttons together. The phone started with a window just like DOS Prompt in computers. It had 4 options:
Reboot system now
Apply update from sd card
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
I selected 3rd one i.e. wipe data/factory reset.
It took me to another window saying, “Confirm wipe of all user data? This can’t be undone. I selected:
Yes –delete all user data
Then I rebooted it.
Now it is just starting again and again with the phone name and model number (as it comes when we start a phone). It is switching on-off by itself and it is going on.
I tried to connect the phone to laptop through Kies, but was able to connect only once after numerous attempts, and that showed that there is no firmware in the phone!
I googled the problem and got a probable solution by putting back the firmware using Odin software and the firmware file. I downloaded these from net. But the instructions to use Odin software are:
Open phone Settings>Applications> Development and enable USB Debugging.
Installing Stock Gingerbread Firmware Turn off you phone and boot it into Download mode: hold down the Volume Down + Volume Up buttons, then long press the Power key till the your phone’s screen turns up and you see the Download mode screen.
Since, I can’t even switch on phone and access anything on it; I can’t follow these instructions and use this software because it is switching on-off again and again by itself.
Please help.
Go HERE Nothing to worry about USB debuging Just Follow that Thread
Are you able to going in DOWNLOAD mode by pressing power + Vol Up + Vol down.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 Safe Mode

Hello,
I purchased a second hand Samsung S3 i9300 with a cracked gorilla glass, but the touch works perfectly. When the guy showed me the phone it was working perfectly. When he was going to give me the phone, he removed the battery to get his SIM card out and then put the battery back in. When the phone restarted it said Safe Mode in the bottom left corner. When I got home I started checking the phone a little better and started looking the internet to see how to get out of safe mode. I have tried everything I have found. I have restarted the phone, I have shut it off and turning it back on, I have removed the battery, SIM, SD card and reboot, nothing. One thing I should mention is that the Volume Up key works perfectly when I'm inside the OS, but when I go to Download Mode (to flash with Odin) I'm unable to Continue from the main screen (it asks me to press the Volume Up key to continue but the key is unresponsive). I have also tried recovery mode, but again, I need to hold the Volume Up key and I do, but the phone boots normally and is still in safe mode. Even a Factory Reset hasn't fixed my problem. The phone is running JB 4.3 and my first thought was that maybe the update was not made correctly by the previous owner, but I can't find a way to downgrade to 4.1 or 4.2 because of the issue with the Volume Up key outside the OS. Please Help!!!
You start by reading the faqs and guides .
This question posted multiple times Safe Mode .

S3 9300 stuck boot screen no recovery mode access

Hi everyone.
My case is similar to this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/i9300-wont-boot-recovery-mode-isnt-t2993235
- Only that me cellphone has never been rooted or flashed.
It happened two days ago, I sent a message through WhastApp, close it, open up the radio, I plugged the headphones, and in that precise moment there was an "updating" notification message, then everything went black and it reboot, getting stuck in the "Samsung Galaxy S3 - GT-I9300" screen.
I have tried:
- Stuck Power button solution -> Not worked.
- Disassembler the cellphone to clean the Power button -> Not worked.
- Trying to get to Recovery mode (Volume Up + Home + Power buttons pressed)-> Not possible to get into that stage.
- The cellphone is not recognize by Window 7 SP1 with latest USB drivers for Samsung phones as USB Flash storage device.
I would like to have my photos/images back because they hold a great emotional value. In simply words, I need to save the my user data from the phone.
So, I have some questions:
- Can I get/save my data back by flashing the cellphone?
- I read I can flash a recovery partition through or with Odin, would this erase the data I want to backup?
Well, anyone who want to give me advice and some guide here, let me thank you before hand and I'm ready to listen I try whatever comes your mind, just point me out what do I have to read or do.
:highfive:

My Samsung Galaxy S3 won't turn on!

Hi! I'm new here, so sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread or I formatted it incorrectly.
Recently, I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Kingo Root, with the intention of installing Ubuntu Phone.
Rooting went well. I ran the setup, and the rooting process completed successfully.
Afterward, I attemped to unlock my bootloader (in order to make a nandroid backup), using EZ Unlock.
After the process finished, I "restarted" my phone by holding the power button and tapping "restart".
The phone turned off, and it's stayed off. I thought I had accidentally tapped "Shut down", so I held the power button, expecting to feel the standard vibration that the S3 usually produces when it turns on.
Nothing.
I am completely unable to interact with the phone. Holding the power button does nothing, meaning I can't boot into normal, recovery, or download mode.
I've tried removing the battery and all that, but nothing has worked at all so far.
Does anyone know what I should do?
Thanks!
