Any solution for my problems...
I can hear sound ( when call ) & I can touch ( sound when tap) but all Blank & Black screen...
I've tried push Power + Up Vol button or Power + Down Vol or reset yellow inside near SIM card... All trying no lucks!!!
Please someone helped me to fixed my problem.

If you have Verizon, ask them for support. Otherwise, you can just get another one on eBay.

Hello.....
I got HTC s740 it was working fine all the day a couple of hours ago it stopped working tried pressing the power button again and again but it didn't help...... I even resetted it using Voldown + power + middle button it showed me the screen and asked to press vol up to reset which it did but no help.........
majority of time just get a screen with colour lines... on which it is written

Is there any indication that the phone is,working? Any sounds, any vibrations? Otherwise its most likely a dead battery or a dead screen.
Open it up and check the battery connection? (not sure,if it voids,any warranty)

thanks you all, but I am really feeling disappointment as I have transferred to Android and getting these error which I believe should not be there, i am probably will get back to my previous phone if that happen again.

do you happen to know what the issue might be if it is not the battery thats the issue?

you press on the down volume + power button... not power + down volume...
I have gone through several solutions like pressing Volume down + power button, volume up + down + power button, but nothing seems to work OR others like keeping it in wall socket for quite a time (whole night) and then try restarting but seems its not working either.
Present condition: while I put my phone in charging(wall), the red LED flashes only once (for a sec..) then it blows down, sometimes (initially) I was able to get a quick dying glimpse of 'HTC quielty brilliant'(power button press) or fastboot (power + vol down) screen. But now it also seems to be not happening.
OS version : 4.2.2 (stock)

Have you got a custom recovery installed?
i have an ace 4 lite, yesterday it fall of my hand and it came back to work all is good then after a while my phone shutdown and it won't turn on i've tried evry thing but nothing wont work volume up + home button + power button
volume up + down + home button and pluged to the pc nothing happened or volume down + home button + power button
nothing happened after all of this but when i remove the battery and get it back the phone vibrate and i see the samsung logo then it turn off again
Is my phone bricked somehow? Any troubleshooting tips?

Is there any software or commands I could use to diagnose my phone over USB? The screen is black, even during boot (no logos), but the phone is still working in the background. The notification LED blinks normally, menu and back button lights up when pressed, and it even rings when someone calls, though I can't see who it is b/c of the black screen. The screen is not cracked or damaged, and I didn't drop it, so not sure why this is happening. I want to test the GPU or other components before I put down a lot of money for a new screen and it no resolve the issue.
Phone is a rooted SM-N910V that has been working great for 3 months.

Hi , try with key kombination .
1. Make sure your phone is OFF
2.Now Press toghether Vol + and power button and hold like that until second vibration (reboot)
3. If that doesn't work try with another combination .
Vol - and Power button
Vol + & Home button & Power button for about 10 second
Vol - & Home button & Power button for about 10 second

Thanks for the suggestions, though I have already tried all those plus other things.
I've left the battery out for over a day, removed sim card, held power button in to drain any residue power.
I'm lost as to why all of sudden the black screen. Hoping there's a way to test the phone to confirm if its the lcd or something else like the gpu chip. On a laptop you could plug a monitor in the vga port, don't guess phones have this option

I read that the phone was rooted so maybe that custom rom has some bug and that way you get black screen .
Try to flash him back to stock firmware and see if the problem is solved .
It is just rooted on the standard firmware, I didn't install any custom firmwares. But I was wondering if I could possibly reflash it from a backup I made with twrp. I cant get to recovery, well actually I could if I new the exact steps since everything works, I just cant see crap.
Is this even possible or is there another way to access twrp over the usb?
