Hey people,
I have a problem since a few hours. I started my HU 3188RK 1024x800 with the malaysk firmware android 5.1.1. Than I open my music app and press play. But the problem now: I can't hear anything, only the little noise if you do the volume very loud but only if i play music otherwise it is completely mute and you hear nothing (you know what i mean?). Restart and plug off the radio are not the solution. The "beep" form Keypressing works (in Mute-Mode too), but why? The rest aren't working. Have anyone solutions?
Thanks
BTW: Sorry if it's the wrong section. Please move it if it is false.
Now i tried to put off the usb hub and the dab receiver. And than it works. So i knew that the usb hub makes problems. Than i look into the dev options and see deactivate usb routing for media. I changed the options (activate it) and than it works. So it seems that android thought it is a usb media controller. Problem solved and happy now with that!

Hi, a few days ago I noticed the headset icon in my Xperia X10's task bar, even though no headset or headphones were plugged in. Turn off/on proved to no avail.
Everything else in the phone functions normal, and if I do plug in earphones, they still work.
The problem is really that if I call someone, I must use earphones in order to hear them, because the phone is trying to output the audio through the apparent headset.
If anyone has experienced this before, or knows of any possible solution, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
When I phone someone, on the dialer, there is a button for speakerphone....make sure that is unchecked and that one the dialer screen is off.
Is Bluetooth on? Add the Power Control Widget on the homescreen....uncheck the bluetooth box
If you open Settings->Applications and take a look at what apps are running.....what is there?
Are there any apps that have anything to do with a music app or something?
thanks for your help beau420, but I now believe it is a hardware problem, after a minute of fiddling with inserting and removing earphones, I managed to make the phone realize nothing was plugged in, and hopefully have now solved the problem
Hello All,
Recently I upgraded to firmware 2.3.3 and noticed that now, whenever I'm connected to bluetooth ( I have an integrated hands free link in my car) my audio from my phone would be rerouted to the car stereo. Due to my heavy navigation dependency on my phone, it is a lot easier for me just to have the voice navigation coming out from my phone speaker. Is there a way to change the settings back to prior to the 2.33 upgrade that only calls go through bluetooth and everything else stays the same? Thanks for all the help and advices!
I actually found the answer to my own question, here it is for people who may have the same problem with me.
To disable media from streaming through Bluetooth, simply go to the pairing menu, long press the Bluetooth that your media is streaming through, and a menu would pop up. In the menu, you can select to uncheck "Media - use for media audio"
Sorry if anyone has posted this before...
I have a problem and I've been trying to solve it but after months of frustration I have decided to try the experts here. Maybe I someone can help.
I don't know when this all started, but for some reason whenever I connect my phone to my car audio (stock system from Toyota) via Bluetooth I can't use Google voice commands. OK Google gets picked up but after that nothing gets recorded. Just Google waiting for me to say something. I tested SVoice and that works fine, so my only thought is that Samsung has done something.
When I disconnect, the problem persists until I turn Bluetooth off.
I have managed to get it working if I use Google to turn on Bluetooth, but then all phone called go to speaker on the phone. When I connect to Bluetooth to use the steering wheel controls, problem come back.
So, hope that was clear and thanks in advance for any help!
Hey Guys,
i broke my headphone jack on my Sony Walkman (NWZ-F880) and now it does not deteced my headphones anymore. I searched the web and found varouis solutions but the only partly working one was SoundAbout. With that i am able to listen via my headphones but when i touch the connector the music stops for two seconds and i get the message "headset connected", even with detection disabled in SoundAbout. Because the devices is rooted i though of some other solution:
- somewhere i red about an xposed module but couldn't found one
- maybe it is possible to remove the speaker or the detection device via root
- maybe someone got a better idea =D
thanks in advance

Hi,
After I have updated to Android 10, whenever I plug in the wired headphone through any type-c to 3.5mm adapter (with or without DACs) and switch off the screen, the music/audio of any sort will stop after a while. I've tried multiple adapters and all of them have this problem.
And the problem seems to happen no matter which app I use. Spotify, Poweramp and internal music app all lead to same result.
Originally I was thinking if this is related to some sort of power management issue, but after I have disable the battery saver and allow them running in background the problem continue to occur.
Not yet tried Bluetooth headset - currently I don't have any of them.
Any idea? Help of any sort is welcomed. Thanks.

I had that in my bg player I thought the app is broken or isnt compatible with android 10, so I had to purchase spotify membership, and it doesnt pause when I lock it rather works flawlessly.
I do agree though I have encountered pauses that occurred once or twice, I think its an android 10 bug. Bluetooth also happened on BG player, doesnt occur on spotify or music app
