How can i download an original(real android) version, custom ROM of marshmellow for my lg k7 device
An original Android ROM can not be access as a .zip file ut as a kdz.. A .KDZ is the whole phone firmware, it will revert it as 100? out-the-box, it will remove root and get it back to normal. It also is a method for fixing a bricked phone. However a .kdz can not be flash with a custom Recovery, so you will need a Windows pc, and the program LG Flash Tool. And flash it just like a .zip, make sure to factory/hard reset

so, i was attempting to put TWRP on my phone and somewhere along the line i managed to completely delete the recovery off my phone, and i can't figure out how to put it back. is there a way i could fix this, or am i up a creek without a paddle? i'm certain the recovery is gone, because i tried navigating to the recovery file via my file manager, and the folder doesn't even show up.
Try and use the LG Flash Tool...
I would use LG Flash Tool and return to 100% unrooted ZV4/A and reroot then just use flashify to install the latest TWRP
Hello guys,
I need your help. I have a L7 II P710 and have intalled the rootable KDZ version months ago, but now I installed an OTA update accidentally and stucks since in the recovery (twrp). I checked all threads for a solution and tried to flash the new P710 V20C EUROPE OPEN version to repair the problem, but with several methods from the LG Flash Tool 2014 I could not solve the problem and still stuck in the recovery. Now I could need support from experts like you!
It would be glad when someone could assist me in this problem.

If you have working TWRP, try to flash some of custom roms' like CM10.2 first. After that (if your device boot normaly), you may flash stock kk europe open.
And more details please, like version before ota upgrade, your country, simlock status etc.

Thanks for your reply. I could solve the problem... I downloaded a stock kdz version that doesnt include the twrp recovery or something else. After that I could boot normally up and down. Then I flashed the new rootable that includes TWRP and all works fine. But now there is a OTA update again and I would like to apply this update, but with the TWRP recovery it is not possible. Is there any way to restore the stock recovery without flash a stock rom?
My kdz contains pached bootloader (APPSSBL), and after upgrade via ota you have brick.
If you want this upgrade (why if you can flash my v20c?), you must flash back original RECOVERY and APPSSBL, extracted from your present original rom kdz.
And unroot your device.
Or you may simply flash original kdz.
After ota upgrade, no longer root is possible.
I flashed your 20c version (this was meant with "the new rootable [rom] that includes TWRP"), but my smartphone shows me every time the possibilty to update. Actually i don't need this update and tried to deactivate the OTA updater. I deactivated the update manager from my lg and disabled the notification but it still shows me the message to update. Could I backup the app via TitaniumBackup and delete it?

Yes, good idea. I recommend you to backup whole rom with TWRP. Just disable screen timeout in TWRP before performing backup.
Actually there is a solution. Its better not to use FOTA update if u have custom recovery. But also attached file can help.Sometimes.Helped me with v20D updates. Just flash it via recovery.

Any way to return to Stock?
Yes I have tried the LgUp route....no go
Yes I have tried LG FlashTool route.......well something happened
Yes I have tried the ALL IN ONE Toolkit for Verizon......this is nothing more than the LG FlashTool route, just step by step.
History.......I flashed the new FW version 3.1.1 from XDABBEB and now I cannot flash stock again.
Best I could get is the LG FlashTool, because LGUP sees this phone now as "unkown".
When I try to flash through LG FlashTool I get null for pid and imei, yes I have used various versions of DLL that came with the TOT file.
At this point I am clueless......I can see that when I used the LG FlashTool it sees this:
Error: [14:53;5] CrossDL [VS985 4G] to [VS985]
Anybody have any ideas....thanks in advance.
i ran into the same problem also. i tried to flash back to 10b after installing @xdabbeb's 3.1.1 rom and i got the same CrossDL error almost immediately. the good news is that since the error comes up almost immediately, nothing is downloaded or flashed to your phone. you should still be able to boot into it.
i had a nandroid backup of my previous rom, which was jasmine 4.0. i flashed the 12b bootstack and then restored the nandroid. the interesting thing was that after restoring the nandroid, i still wasn't able to downgrade to 10b. i had to boot into the rom and then power back down. after that, i was able to flash 10b.
other people have reported being able to downgrade to 10b from 28a. @xdabbeb's 3.1.1 rom uses systemless root which modifies the system and/or boot image files. my guess is that the systemless root is what is preventing the downgrade to 10b from working. my suggestion is to try unrooting first and then try flashing 10b. if not, i hope you have a nandroid backup that you can restore and downgrade from.

The above, and flash any KDZ 35B or higher first, then the TOT since TOTs fix things that KDZs can't.
I have been looking for the 6.0 ota. I flashed a v10 stock zip to lose root but it took me back to 5.1.1. All I can find are kdz files. I'm just trying to get the actual ota zip that I can flash in recovery my self to get back to 6.0
Trying to update my device (GR5 KII L33) I downloaded an update.zip file, and added it to the dload folder, but this file did not correspond to my phone, so now it does not turn on and only directs me to the TWRP. I have not found the original software KII L33 and I can not get my phone to turn on, although I have repeatedly installed my backup the phone just go to the TWRP
Please, I would be very grateful if you could help me restore my phone, or share the original file so I can install it, since so far I have not found a solution
If you're wanting to flash stock then there's a guide here.
If you're wanting a custom rom then in TWRP just do a full wipe (factory reset + system) and flash the ROM zip file just like normal.
Don't flash official ROM update zips in TWRP.
Donot flash official emui updates from twrp, as it contains update.app files
