Hi All,
I just got my Motorola razr XT910 in the UK and tried rooting it. The root methods for XT912 Droid Razr do not work.
Does anyoe know if there is a root method for the EU version?
I received my XT910 (Rogers Canadian Version) on Monday (had to activate and purchase to get the Sales Rep to Give me one) and while waiting to receive my Sim Unlock Code, used the quick rooting method that came out same day or so, and worked as advertised.
I followed the how to, and it was really point and click... done!

Has anyone got any info on this? I am still looking to root mine. Will try some more methods tomorrow, but would want to make sure it can be done at present time.
Some reported that Pete's exploit worked flawlessly for their XT910, worth a shot.

I try all of them, but no luck, and the the software says it is for 2.3.4, not 2.3.5

Hi,
Can you not share it with those who already have the phone? It was released in Europe a few days ago.
PM me if you can please.
once you root the phone does that mean your bootloader is now unlocked?

Nope. Only gives you access to root.
Maybe you even unlocked the bootloader?

It seems it only works for vzw as I tried a few different one click methods and they al failed.
I have the VZW version and I can't get it to root. Says it is but no superuser and TIB says no go.

If it version 5.1.1 try king root or ping pong root if those two dont work then your bootloader my be locked which means no root for ur device.

Hey everyone,
I haven't had an android since 2013 since the HTC one.
I'm looking for a permanent way to root, plus install recovery.
I'm used to the fastboot method. I've seen a lot of rather ''easy'' methods, but in my experience they're not permanent or reliable root, and make no mention about recoveries.
What do I need to root, install recovery, and update say firmware and baseband? Rogers s6 edge.
Please and thank you.
Bump
Anyone? I mean obviously somebody is rooted here and saw this msg
