Hi all, I have developed a small Xposed module to tweak EUI. It can disable most of the EUI customizations and bring back vanilla android features.
Features
Disable EUI Lockscreen, Status Bar and Notifications
Disable EUI Control Center for Default app switcher
Enable Vanilla Lockscreen with Fingerprint support
Enable Vanilla 3D Recent apps (no clear all button yet as they use lollipop source even in marshmallow )
Enable default Status Bar and Quick Settings (even with System UI Tuner, long press settings icon in QS to enable)
Transparent Notifications in Lockscreen (like EUI)
Dark Material theme notifications in drawer (Light Material didn't work properly)
All notification icons in Status Bar (instead of 3 dot icon by EUI)
Force enable Standard scale mode. (EUI doesn't allow you change Zoom mode after boot image patch)
Android's Multi-user support (switch from quick settings)
Semi-transparent status bar patch for EUI apps.
There are more small tweaks I didn't mention here. The module is still work in progress. I have only tested it in EUI 5.8 on Le2 (X526) since I only have that device. It should theoretically work on other devices assuming EUI code base remains same. Not sure about version below 5.8 and Android Lolipop (testers are welcome, use Xposed uninstaller if you ran into some trouble).
How to Install Module
Unlock bootloader and root your device (many tutorials available )
Install Xposed version 86 (follow steps provided below)
Install module APK (attached with post)
Open EUI Moder app and enable and disable things as you wish
Reboot to see changes

Am having slow bandwidth as my speed limit is crossed. May be someone will do it for you
Anyone tried this rom?
Size
Why This rom weighs 885MB
Great job:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
DPI should be 225-200. 240 is for the Galaxy Core.
Text on the notification screen should be white, not black.
The background should be black, because the text is white. I can't even see with this text white and white background.
Lockscreen could be replaced with AOSP Lockscreen.
The checkbox, action bar, and stuff like that should be Material, not TouchWiz. This can easily be changed by installing Xposed and MonsterUI module.
Statusbar should be tinted. Tinted Status Bar module for Xposed, or Material Status Bar for Xposed fits for it.
The settings app could be black, and this can easily be changed by installing the TransK black settings update.
Icons should be Material. With Unicon for Xposed, and the icon pack Moonshine, the icons fits more the theme.
Apex is more Material than the default launcher.
There is no reason to have a message app. Google's app is material, and it's official.
I'll edit this post in case I find something else.

Description
This Xposed module turns your Settings into columns instead of a list.
There's also a config app where you can change e.g. the text size. This is useful if your texts are too long and get cut off (due to differences in languages or screen size), please use it.
Tested on CyanogenMod 12.1 and 13.
Let me know if it works on other versions, too, and if there are any bugs.
Does not work with AOSP 6.0, probably 5.0/5.1 too.
Requirements
- Xposed Framework
- Android 5.0 (API 20) or above

@BreckZeBoulay
Thank you.
It crashes because it couldn't find the layout file which is responsible for the font size. Apparently there were some changes in Marshmallow.
I pushed a new version that avoids the crash, but changing the font size is not possible at the moment (only if it's crashing).
I'll work out a solution in the next few days.

No change with the new version, log attached
@BreckZeBoulay
No crashes in log, that's expected.
Then it probably doesn't work for Marshmallow - for now.
I'm still on Lollipop but I'll flash Marshmallow in the next few days to find a solution. Will report back.
Not working on Samsung J5 android 5.1.1 (as i expected.)
cant wait for 6.0.1 support
so much space wasted on my n6p. guess i could easily fit 3 columns in landscape
Thanks working fine here on cm12.1.. Btw cannot see ur screenshot u uploaded in OP
Not working on Android 5.0
@Huccha
Could you be a little more specific? What ROM are you using?
If you're using some heavily modified ROM like Samsung TouchWiz, it probably won't work.
It basically only works if your ROM / Settings uses the following value in Settings.apk\res\values\integers.xml:
Code:
<integer name="dashboard_num_columns">1</integer>
If changing this value doesn't have any effect, I can't do anything.

I am using micromax canvas spark q380 with lollipop 5.0 AOSP rom.
working good on cm12.1
Yesterday and just now I tested it on AOSP 6.0 but I can't get it to work.
There are still some bugs coming from Xposed itself due to e.g. SELinux, but despite that it should work.
The integer value "dashboard_num_columns" exists and although changing it manually in the Settings.apk does work, changing it via Xposed doesn't and I don't know why. There are no error messages, the code is being executed but it has no effect.
On Lollipop the following works:
Code:
resparam.res.setReplacement("com.android.settings:integer/dashboard_num_columns", number);
On Marshmallow it doesn't.
The culprit is not the value itself but the replacement procedure. I tried it with different fields and it didn't work, too.
Maybe some Dev with Xposed MM experience can give me some insight.
An option to no columnize settings with toogles (Wifi & BT) would be dope!
On CyanogenMod 13 it works like a charm, see attached screenshot.
I tried for hours now to get it to work on AOSP 6.0 but I think it's Xposed related (probably due to SELinux strict). No matter what field I'm trying to replace, Xposed doesn't find it (NotFoundException). Maybe this will be fixed in v81 but for now it seems like this mod is CM only.
cool this module, work fine with my S5 4G+ in 12.1
great module, works and looks awesome on my Galaxy A5 with AICP rom (Android 6.0.1).
--SIGNATURE--
Not working on RR MM Bacon (OPO)
Changing the column number doesnt do anything.
Im guessing this is already mentioned (cm13 works, aosp doesnt work), but i really dont have any idea about cm/aosp/caf/etc
But if aicp works doesnt that indicate it works on aosp based roms? im confused but if it's a hassle to explain you dont need to answer me and just consider this a report. Thanks for your work!

READ FIRST!
The Pixel Launcher will work on any device running Android 6 or later
Google Dialer works fine on most models, but can have bugs!!! It should work on Android 6 or later
The Google Assistant will only work on Android 7 or later. If you flash this ZIP on Android 6, the installer will install the new Google Search app, but the Google Assistant wont work.
To get the Google Assistant working you have to flash the "GoogleAssistantBuildProp.zip" after and copy tweaks.prop to your device.
DescriptionThis Thread is for an flashable installer, which will install the new Google Pixel Launcher with Wallpaper, Assistant, Dialer.
You can also download the new bootanimation below.
My ZIP File seems also to activate unlimited Google Photos Storage. (Tested on my G3 with CM14, Beanstalk and AOSP 7.0), so maybe this will only work on Android 7.
Features- Google Pixel Launcher (with working WallpaperPicker)
- Google Pixel Dialer
- Google Pixel Assistant
- Google Pixel Bootanimation (1920x1080)
- Google Pixel Ringtones
How to instalNew Google Assistant:
take a look at this thread
- Download all three files mentioned in "Method 2: Flashable ZIPs by @FaserF" from there and copy them to your device, then flash the 2 zip files
New Google Navbar Design:
take a look at my thread here!
New Bootanimation:
Way 1: Download: GooglePixelBootanimation.zip and flash it
Way 2:
- Copy the bootanimation.zip file (inside the GooglePixelBootanimation.zip) on your SD card/ internal storage on your phone
- use a the root explorer, CM File Browser or any other file browser with root access to perform this action
- copy the .zip file into the system/media folder
- give the correct permissons
Android M Ringtones (note nearly all are the same as in Lollipop!)
Way 1: Download: GooglePixelExperience.zip and flash it
Way 2: Extract the ringtones out of the flashable zip and copy the files to system/media/audio to the correct folder
Screenshots
BugsOK Google Hotword doesnt work
Pixel Launcher will force close on some devices
Google Dialer will force close on some devices
Bootanimation could be displayed wrong on devices with a lower resolution than qHD (480p)
DOWNLOAD V2 HERE
Get the original Stuff backownload a root browser, open it and activate root access. Now go to /system/priv-app/dialer and /NexusLauncherPrebuild and remove the whole folder, then reboot your phone.
Q&A | Other Informations:
- Android Version required: 6.0+ (inlcudes all Lollipop versions!)
- WARNING: As this is taken from a device that is not similar to yours, it still can have risks! Keep this in mind! It was originally made for Android 7.1, not less. I am not responsible for bricked devices, or other things! YOU have decided to make these modifications!
- Some devices need Google's Dialer Framework to get the Dialer work correctly. If you are running a device with opengapps you are fine. If you are on stock you maybe dont have the framework.
Credit and Contribution:

- @LlabTooFeR for the Google Pixel System Dump (where the apps & bootanimation is coming from)

MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

Should make this for the 10 pro. Not a single ROM or real mod for it.
will this work for Android 13 (F.15)?
