Okay so I have this question.. you know the cameras of your phone right? So if the back camera show the right view of subject, and the front-facing camera (selfie cam) show the flip view of the subject... ( Or something like that) the question is... Is there anyway or any hack or any xposed mod that can change the view of the picture. Because sometime when you record something from the selfie cam its show the flip view. And I'd like to change that.
Can someone help me out please. Thank you

hii guys ..
i keep wonder ,, we will have zoom on miui camera ??
i like miui rom .. the only bug that it dont have zoom and i need it
so any body know if they are working on it ?? at we gonna have zoom or they give up on that bug ?!
My opinion, you don't need zoom.
You need an app that can crop a picture because that's exactly what digital zoom does.
So shoot your pics and then edit them (I use Picsay and it's awesome) to isolate the details.

All digital zoom does is makes bigger blobs of colour.
Ugh... Sad realization that the X10 zoom is digital.
This is still a convenience being able to zoom(crop) an image and without editing send it directly to facebook/twitter/wordpress/[ fill in the blank ].

Have you ever seen a phone's camera lens pop out?
...
Exactly!
All phones have digital zoom only.
Also, unless you are in a great hurry, it takes less than a minute to crop a picture and then share it in any social network so no biggie.
Try PicSay, I find it entertaining to give a "final touch" to my photos before posting them.
Hi. I'm using cyanogenmod 10 for almost 3 weeks . The camera which came with cm10 is showing less field what actually is.
Are the photos it saves a normal field of view? In other words is the problem only with the view in the camera app or is it with the saved photos too

This picture is shown in the gallery. You can see my printer is in view. (left side)
Also you can see the light switch(left side) is in the view
For second picture,
But in this picture you can't see my printer and my light switch.
I didn't move the camera btw just took a screenshot then pressed the capture
Any ideas?
You can't bump a thread more than once every 24 hours
I believe this is done because of the aspect ratio of your screen and the photos your camera takes. If the photo fov were to be used in the camera, there would be black bars in the camera app. You can try using another camera app from the play store to fix this.

I'm sorry. I didn't know that . Do I have to use 3rd party camera apps. Or can developers fix this problem in next updates. And can you advise me a good 3rd party app. Thanks for your help.
Do you have photo stabilization by any chance? That does reduce the fov.
No I don't have photo stabilization.
Try an app in the store called "lg camera" from memory that's the name. It has black bars which is what you want
NO no no this is not that I wanted. Actualy when I take photos with my friends they can't be seen before shooting.so sometimes they seen out of the fov but when I take photos they are in the fov. I don't want black bars or something. I mean I want to take a photo which looks exactly same in the preview.my post which has an attachment will show my problem.
Hi all,
I would like to display a camera preview then to take a picture using the front facing camera on touch.
I'm not up to scratch on scenes yet and everything that Tasker has the ability to do, I'm guessing this is possible but can only see the ability to take picture with preview set at a particular interval set by global settings which is of no use to me.
I would really appreciate any help with this, thanks in advance.

I have searched the forums and I can not find an answer.
My question is, is there a way to enable photo / video stabilization on the VS985? Anytime I try to record video with my phone the video is very wavy do to vibration when I have the phone in the dash mount. If I hold the phone in my hand to do is fine. Never had this problem with any other phone like the S3, S4, or HTC. The main reason I bought this phone was because of the camera. I have installed a Xcam and Open Cam does the same thing in those as well. I have tried on stock KK & LP.
Open Cam settings says my devise is not capable of stabilization. I really hope this is not the case. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
? If I have helped you please hit the thanks ?

I can't answer your question but I can tell you the reason that any camera app other than stock reports that stabilization isn't possible/doesn't exist is because the third part app just doesn't support our camera's optical image stabilization (or laser focus, but that's besides the point), which it most certainly does have.
I have tried on stock KK as well. I don't even see an option for stabilization in the settings on stock. All I get are wavy videos when I drive and record. ?

The stock camera app performs optical image stabilization without a setting. I have no idea if the optical image stabilization doesn't apply to video, only still images, which would account for your problem.

Yeah, I read that somewhere. I just wonder if there is a build prop edit or something to enable it on our devices.

I've looked around in the stock cam app. I did find mulit view but it is just split screen. Im looking for a pip front and rear cam photo option that samsung has like a postcard etc.. I can post a pic if you don't understand.
Can anyone recommend a good app for this, preferably one that has a few options or frames etc.
Thank you.
