What exactly do you want to know?
This kernel supports charging with up to 2000 mA, which is Qualcomm QuickCharge.
Hope that answers your question.

It is for CM and CAF based ROMs.
And because I use AnyKernel, it should work on most ROMs.
But of course it is worth to give it a try.

A friend requested some feature in Code Blue kernel so I cherry-pick and share with them.
I decided to share with you guys too
Based from Code Blue kernel sources.
Features:
Use Calkulin's method with @rachanta 's help
Kernel upgraded to 3.4.103
Add ZEN I/O scheduler
Bluesleep upgrade (for bluetooth) and many others.. refer github commits!
For v1.5.1 and above I will use Calkulin's library patch so that this AOSP based kernel could be used on CM based ROM
DT2W is now supported by Code Blue.
To enable the DT2W however you need to use Flash UKM (Universal Kernel Manager) use Synapse to enable the D2TW feature.
Trickster cannot be used as for now.

Good to know :victory:
Does it has features to disable dt2w/s2w with power button?
Had some issues with AICP. wanted to test both and report. I had screen lock up and some shuddering when multitasking.
Hard reset and just wiped and flashed another ROM.
Any ideas. I used same process as with Rastakat. Thanks
Works fine with mahdi. Please add support for battery LED always on.

It seems that the zip patch does not work well (i think) with some ROMs.
Since it's based on AOSP sources, with just 10 library files inclusion.
Usually if I see a ROM saying it's upgrading packages (as if we're flashing newer ROM) I know there'll be a lot of FCs.
Seems I'm not the only one.
What do you think, should we continuing releasing this method (advertise with CM ROM capable) or enough with AOSP.

Woww thanks, nice work
Tnx ?
Please add charge control! Don't think any CAF kernels have it yet, 2A charging with screen on is too important!
Wow. Wheatley AND Adaptive AND based on ak? I think I shat my panties. I wish I could keep up with my profiles for all these kernels, but I just don't have the time. Nevertheless, love the kernel. Keep up the good work, broham!
P.s. would you possibly add in cpu_quiet? Loved it on my LGOG.
No threads available for profiles and, seeing as I'm a crappy thread maintainer, I figured I'd share it here.
Radioactive CAF Flexible 1.0
Slightly tuned adaptive (not much to tweak lol)
CPU0-1 1.19GHz
CPU2-3 1.72GHz
Minor hotplug changes
UV -100
ROW tweaks
Adreno Idler tweaks
Etc

You can try it out with battery monitor widget, with screen on you won't get any charge more than ~1100mah. While with screen off the charge will jump up to ~1800mah.
Another alternative would be to use those battery doctor usb dongles that show u the ampere drawing from the AC adaptor
With charge control, we can get ~1800mah regardless of screen state

Sorry for the stupid questions but here we go:
Do I need to be rooted?
Do we still get Lineage OTA updates after flashing?
Do I need to re-flash after an update?
I try many roms and I had problems on all of them, some doesn't have VOLTE, all have bad audio and faulty fast charging.... going back to stock is too challenging for me...
and btw OEM usb cable is junk!!!

Maybe you flashed a non CAF ROM by mistake. The installer checks that the device code name is hammerheadcaf

Okay it looks like AOSPA kept device name to hammerhead instead of hammerheadcaf. You can wait for me to push a new zip or you can open the current one and add a hammerhead to the devices list, behind hammerheadcaf
--- EDIT ---
I've uploaded a new zip. You shouldn't encounter any problem now

No. TrueSight's dev has a different concept of how I want to manage my new kernels. I want to keep them minimal with only some tweaks to improve battery and performance. This kernel has a full upstream to Linux 3.4.113, while TrueSight is stuck at 3.4.0. So no, I won't merge TrueSight stuff

Thanks for sharing ur concepts!
Well, then can we suggest some cherrypicking? One thing id loved on CAF with custom Kernel is the ability to amplify speaker beyond limits, it was called speaker volume on adiutor

Hi joe,
which CAF base rom do you suggest to use with your kernel?
Thanks

I like to use halogenOS, it's a really nice ROM with a really nice team. But I may have something in the bakery for the ROM scene too, who knows
Running good here, thanks for developing caf kernel. :highfive:
Trying it now, so far so good... Thanks for your effort!

Hello!
I want to try to build unofficial AICP CAF with your kernel.
What string should I add into "aicp_manifest.xml" file in ".repo/local_manifests/" folder to make it possible?
Update: I appreciate your effort and I thank you for the time you have devoted to the development of the kernel, but I believe you prefer me to be sincere and not declare wonders when things are somewhat different. Therefore, I must say that, even if your kernel is stable, still it appears to be on par with lineage stock kennel, and still not up to TrueSight, which provides better performance, much better battery life, especially during standby, yet worse audio quality-speakerphone for example is unusable.
If I could express my opinion, I would suggest you pick up True Sight, fix audio, update it with latest security patches and we would have THE perfect kernel for CAF. Just my two cents!
Anyway, thanks again for your time and your dedication!
