I HIGHLY doubt it will come with Android 7.0. 7.0 official hasn't been released yet and they are manufacturing millions of these for release. That means they are being boxed and being stored in the Warehouse in preparation to be shipped out. 7.0 would have to be out and available to the manufacturers prior to this happening for these to come with 7.0 out of the box.
I am sure these will be Marshmallow just like the leaked version and 7.0 will come around fall. Look how long it took to get Marshmallow on the Note 5 after Marshmallow was released!

Ah. Good point. Well, I never said it was official. Just from what I've heard. But yea good point.
Stock ROM is Grace UX. The consumer rom was already leaked.

It is still a Marshmallow base though right? Multiple roms for the Note 5 have had the Grace UX or at least parts of it.
The Grace UX was what I meant when I said just like the leaked version.

Good point. I just heard from whereever that it was going to have it. I didn't really think about it or fact check it but now that you told me this and made me think. Yea it doesn't really make any sense.

I am not the one that said I thought it would no.
I think the stock rom will be basically be the latest (pfb?) Tw ux firmware...with a few added features to take advantage of for the new device...

You mean G4&Xperia Z P V3.0? Yeah, it's really cool, I have used it for more than 10 hours...
Indeed, if you're looking to be on the cutting edge in terms of Android Version, you should definitely go for custom ROMs.
Some Stock-base ROMs (like Revo HD or Omega) are already running latest 4.2.1 leaked firmware from Sammy.
AOSP Roms are practically all on 4.2.2 by now, and some of them are extremely stable and fast (running Temasek v83... just out of this world)
If you're all about official OTA upgrades, then I wouldn't be too sure about April, they usually announce firmware upgrades a good month before release. That's what happened for ICS on S2, which is approx. equivalent to 4.2.2 on S3 in terms of product lifecycle.

I think that Samsung will release 4.2.2 for Galaxy S3 only when Galaxy S4 will sell a lot. For now,I think that first we get 4.2.1.

Am I blind, or are there no rom's based on the official T-Mobile release yet? I have a sprint galaxy s5 thats had a official for a few weeks now and its MUCH improved over the non-official variants. My girlfriend has the T-mobile version and I have been waiting for a official domestic release (not international) to put on her phone so she can enjoy a smoother bug free experience on her S5.

If you don't see any then no there are not any. Do it yourself your chill. The official literally just dropped like this past weekend. It hasn't been even a week yet. Posting a thread like this isn't going to make any ROMs come out faster. Lol.

There are 3 LP 5.0 Rom's.... then just Odin the DOB1 firmware .

Twisted Lollipop is one of the newest ones. He doesn't have it labeled as DOB1, but it is based off the DOB1 firmware. There are a few threads in general or development that have links to modem, kernel, and boot loader as well as the full tar ball.

yeah, Im excited. I downloaded both twisted and vision. I am not sure which one to use. Vision is fast as hell and really smooth but twisted seems like it has more features.

It's kinda hard to develop on stock roms because they are already so optimised and adding something will break another so I guess developers wanted to develop on a more open platform like CM or AOSP versus stock.
Understandable but cm and aosp to me are all the same... Same bugs same services the only good thing os for theming but even there they are similar... I kinda like the sony stock rom.. Wouldnt mind a debloated 5.0.2 with custom kernel support!! I guess a fella can still have hopes!!

Oh man still no updates?? i am very dependent on when this Lollipop ROM update will be sent. I just can't test my apps on Lollipop because of this!
I wish they did not release 5.0.1/2 and went for 5.1 instead. I've heard really lots of complaints about 5.0 and i am kinda worried.
I'm afraid we'll get a really late, half-assed rom update that introduces new issues without fixing the older ones, which they had plenty of time to fix... and after that it's gonna be "well, you got your 5.0 update, that's enough updates for a two year old phone... all the way from jelly-bean! wow... we're so good, updating the phone all the way from jelly bean to lollipop. So, there won't be another update. get a new phone."

I'm having serious battery issues especially with facebook. Feels like i'm always starting to use my phone at levels below 50. Using greenify unrooted but it's pointless.
Is marshmallow worth the wait or should i just get a custom os thingy now, i got the european G850F.

lg g2 does not have official android marshmallow, i own an lg g2 too...
but it has a lot of custom roms...

Yeah same because I have a T-Mobile Sim card in my Alpha so I don't get OTA updates. I had to manually load 5.0.2

Samsung focused on security instead of new features or new UI this year. Security against their own customers!
Other than 1000s of security changes, we need these:
Oreo bootloader
Oreo kernel
Oreo modem
Oreo HIDL libs probably.
It's not so easy anymore.
