Hardbricked LG D320 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am xposting this from here: http://androidforums.com/threads/gu...-mode-no-fastboot.893311/page-10#post-7346768. Hopefully I can get someone here who can help.
Hi there,
I have a LG D320 device that one day just freezes up on boot (sits at LG logo forever).
I cannot enter download mode (Holding vol+ goes to loading screen and says to keep holding down until loaded... it never does)
The factory reset mode is accessible but I want to get the data from it first (Vol- on boot)
The device will only connect to a PC if I short the testpoint on the phones motherboard. The USB mode entered is QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (after installation of the relevant Qualcomm bulk drivers).
Like I said, I only want to get the data off it and tried following instructions:
http://www.droidsavvy.com/unbrick-qualcomm-mobiles/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
But the partitions do not show up for copying!
Does anyone have any advice on how to go further?
I believe I need to use either QFIL (http://www.androidbrick.com/download/qpst-2-7-build-422-qfil/) or BoardDiag3.99 (like this instruction http://gsm-tips1.blogspot.com.au/2014/12/tutoriallg-g3-boot-repair-stuck-in.html). But I don't have the required files on hand (they ask for a partition.txt file, tot file etc...).
Like I said, I just want to get the data off the phone can anyone help?
I have gone through what I can but seem to be at wits end.
I can set this up on teamviewer if someone wants to log in remotely to try fix it.
I have posted a picture of the mobo, the CPU is an MSM8210 and eMMC is samsung kmk5x000vm-b314)

Blu life one x

I bricked my Blu life one x and I want to repair it can someone help me out ow to do it and where I can't find the Blu life one x rom?
Download this:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24391638059058964
From user @Bad_MOFO_33
Then download the SPFlash tool from here:
http://spflashtool.com/
Then be sure to have usb drivers installed so the COM identifies your phone.
Open the ROM you downladed and extract the carpet into desktop or somewhere you can easily find it.
Open SPFlashtool and go to the DOWNLOAD window and select Scatter-loading and select the scatter file from the folder where the ROM is like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then with the phone turned off (surely is off since its bricked) click the DOWNLOAD button on the spflashtool
And then AFTER you clicked DOWNLOAD on SPFLASHTOOL connect the phone while holding the VOLUME UP and is should identify it and begin the process.
DONT disconect until its done and a BIG GREEN CHECK mark appears, then just unplug and power it on.
ANd thats it

Might need to repair your IMEI
Follow this guide:
http://sheershbansl.blogspot.mx/2014/08/how-to-fix-invalid-imei-3-methods.html
NOTES:
1.- you IMEI numbers are on the battery sticker theres 2 of em one for sim 1 and the other for sim2
2.-when entering the imei where it say to type AT+ etc etc on our BLU you need to type AT (SPACE) + and the rest, so it looks like AT + and then all the rest (EGMR=1,7,"1234567890")
3.- remember to SET Command and then reset so the IMEI settles in.
Hope thats the problem solver
Thanks for all guys that helped me... The sim problem was my fault cause I messed around with the bands. Like north America and world bands...

Soft Bricked Honor 7C

Hi there,
I'd really be grateful for any help anyone can give. Yesterday, my Honor 7C got stuck in a boot loop, restarting at the blue Honor screen continually until the battery runs out. It's impossible to boot it into recovery mode using any combination of key presses. It just keeps restarting.
Can someone please help? I don't really mind losing the phone, but ideally I would like to save some of the data on it, as it had been a while since I backed up.
I understand that the way to do this might be to flash the stock ROM, root the phone and then run a data recovery program like EaseUs. Is this correct?
Also, I have tried to flash the stock ROM but really have no idea how to do it. I got half way through using SP Flash Tool before I realised that the Honor 7C is not a Mediatek phone.
Also, I can't find the stock ROM (LND-L29) anywhere except on pretty dodgy looking websites. Is there a reliable source for stock ROMs anywhere?
Any help would be really gratefully received. Thanks!
B7C
@Bricky7C
Your Honor 7C has a Qualcomm chip-set hence you might use free-of-charge QPST ( read: Qualcomm Product Support Tool ) to re-flash device's Stock ROM.

Turns out my bootloop was caused by a hardware problem after all - ripping open the side of the phone solved it.
However, for anyone who stumbles across this thread with a similar problem, jwoegerbauer's suggestion of QPST was very helpful, but the tool on the site would not install for me on Windows 10. I kept getting an "installation was interrupted error". However, I found a working version of the tool at:
androidmtk dot com fslash download-qpst-flash-tool
[I'm a new user so XDA won't allow me to post a URL]
I scanned for viruses and the installation didn't cause me any issue, though I never ended up having to use it in the end.

LG FlashTool keeps showing the "CheckCommMode FAIL!!!" error

Hello, my G5 has been stuck in a bootloop for over a year, I've tried to follow some tutorials on how to fix the issue but none of them worked. Since I've read of people being able to fix it with LG FlashTool I tried it too, I was using LG FlashTool V2.0.1.6, the COM port on the phone is set to 41, I told the program to use a FW specified by me and the LGUPc.dll extracted from that same FW. I'm not sure if the FW is the exact same one I have installed on my phone but it is supposed to be installed on it (I know the name of the one installed on my phone but there are multiple FWs with the same name).
Initially LG FlashTool 2.0.1.6 kept showing the "(S) Failed to load." error, but I later managed to download another version (1.8.6.527) which doesn't show that error, though it shows another one once it tries to read the device's information:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The XML log is just a lot of messed up bytes. To me it looks like the serial port is unresponsive.
The steps I took are the exact ones I've seen in this video:
1. Run LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.2.0.exe;
2. Run Setup_LGFlashTool_1.8.6.527 and replace MegaLock.dll with the custom one;
3. Run LGH850_DLL.msi;
4. Run LGUP_Store_Frame_Ver_1_14_3.msi;
5. Set the serial port to COM41.
6. Extract: LGUPc.dll and the dz file from the kdz firmware and select them in "LG FlashTool";
_ _ _ _ _
These steps are chronologically different from the ones shown in the vid:
7. Press the Start button on "LG FlashTool";
8. Once "Waiting for connection..." is shown connect the device.
There's only one thing in the LG FlashTool software I installed that differs from the one shown in the vid, there's a text to the right of where the version is displayed, in the vid it reads "LGPTDSMP" but in my version it reads "NPINLOCAL". Can anyone send me the LGTDSMP version, please?
Can anybody help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Help me, I HARD Bricked my phone (Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G) Erased all partitions!

So I have this phone Xiaomi Redmi 10X, and I wanted to put Pixel Experience 11.0 in it, after seeing this thread on GitHub.
To my surprise, following steps on that link was not that easy!
I flashed MIUI 22.1.19 manually (not in the correct way), and I ended up with a hard bricked phone.
Yesterday, while Googling about that, I managed to run into a tool called MTKClient v2.0
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and it solved my problem, by flashing original firmware and got it correctly working with the default MIUI 13 system.
BUT, that wasnt enough for me, because I still wanted to put Pixel Experience in it since I like it so much and think it is so sexy!!! So I, without knowing what I was doing, erased all the partitions in my phone with that tool.
Now, I cant get it to connect to that tool to work or connect with my device. On the cmd behind though, I do get some hope after seeing that device is still recognized in some way, but that's all there is to it, it doesnt go further, only "Phone detected: Reading model info".
I've tried to wait and keep both volume buttons pressed at the same time, but to no avail.
Since this, I've tried several tools but none is working to reset my partition table to original state, since I think that's my problem.
Any idea how to fix it?

No. What is that?

Even if it connects, it shows no partitions to write over.
What it needs, is to first restore the erased partitions, I think, and then writing (flashing) the firmware into it.

Again, not my Picture.
Acording to Huawei, You have to Use HiSuite to recover it.
1. Put the Phone into Fast Boot. AND conect to PC
2. Open HiSuite on Your PC and click on Recovery mode or whatever its called.
3. i donk know i forgot.
anyways, i get this nice little message
(In translated, this means That: Your Device doesnt support System Recovery.
Bro wth
Anyways, our phone story doesnt end there...
I tried doing it without the Computer.
using eRecovery!!! not surprising i know...
Still, it was stuck on booting animation trying to enter eRecovery.
According to Huawei, "this message is displayed when a system file is replaced or modified, or the system is manually updated to an unofficial version". They were responding to another user with the same issue as mine.
I think that this is the Issue. Still, the instructions to fix it, dont work. (as tested above.)
Tutorials show the eRecovery method without the PC.
Here are some info i found:
Another Guy having the same issue:
i forgot the link but someone else on XDA Had the same issue.
