Have rooted My Device, and Rom Toolbox Lite On it, tryed Boot Animations Changer installed it from the app in toolbox but didnt work, do i have to flash device to get it working ? Have done my 1st TIME a Rom installing/flashing and dont know much about this, so i would like to hear everything what could help me.

My friend has this Samsung S5830i handset and our carrier installed their custom OS. so he wants a rooted custom rom. So im kinda clueless what is the latest stable rom for Samsung S5830i

unfortunately you guys were the minority where most of users here uses generic gt-s5830, and afaik currently theres none custom rom for gt-s5830i (atleast here in xda).
Oh no . pleaaaase , DEVs do something . its so boring (Stock roms) .
We are working on CM 7.2 for s5830i but need developers help...there are many bugs.
my friend have the same s5830i , and had a hard time in finding Root and compatible CMW , eventually land on one and it worked !!

let me start for saying thanks for the help you guys have gave me so far and i hope this can happen again ... so i did install the Liquid Smooth Rom on my Galaxy Note i717R (Rogers Version) with the Offiial T-mobile Modem Version so i have Wind Mobile up and running . My question is , is it possible to install the Galaxy Note Stock APK's on this rom ? And if so is there a link for the stock apps ?
Hi, if you need Snote, Splanner, etc. They cannot be installed in LiquidSmooth. They need the TW framework to work and a TW based rom. LiquidSmooth and others based on Cyanogen are AOSP and do not include any port of the framework. If you need other apps that do not need TW framework maybe some other guy can help. Hope this helps.
If you have a backup of your stock Rom you can extract stock carrier apps. Titanium Backup will let you do that.
As ^^^^^ said you will have to get replacement apps from the market for the pen apps. Jamie developed a CM 10.1 version with pen gestures enabled.

i manage to find some of this apps and install them individually and they actually work without TW Framework . And yes i do have a backup of the Rogers Stock Rom , is there any tutorial how to remove those apps from the rom with Titanium Backup ? Again thanks for your help guys .

i try to flash a sound mod on my samsung s2 with neat rom android 4.1.2 it don´t work after flash have no sound ;( so i install my old backup again to get sound
can somebody test it with android 5.1.1 then it work i install android 5 i have seen nice roms here ^^
ps i read the thread and people say that it gives you the best sound ^^

If nobody tries, flash CM 12.1 and directly backup it. If mod doesn't work, reflash backup.

yesterday i had to use that phone as she needed help with something and i found it so damn difficult to use that device because of crappy performance n lag
I was wondering if i could get a custom rom running on that device so i checked the developement section and found some amazing roms for this device like the hyper rom, QS-i9300 rom , s5 sensation rom ,blekota rom
i am so confused abt which rom should i flash to her device
i need help with suggestion since i am not familiar with these roms since it is not my device
so can you guys plz suggest which rom should i go for all i want is a fast and stable rom for her device

With my personal experience I highly recommend this unofficial cm12.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/cyanogenmod-12-1-t3345690. This is very stable, and the performances are very good
