Also after changing battery, I'd sometimes get a firmware upgrading screen, telling me not to unplug, again with no cable. Only way I could boot normally was plug in & restart.
I've cleaned & checked connections & they look fine.
Anyone else witnessed similar?

High-power usb device connected

Guys, I dropped the phone for the first time earlier. Now there's this prompt on the notification (see attached screenshot)

There's a irritating triangular sign on the notification bar which I can't clear.
The biggest problem is I can't charge the phone. I'm only able to charge only if I plug in the charger when the phone is off.
Any clues??

Something is damaged Maybe your microUSB? And perhaps thats what is causing your charging problems

I tried everything but all I get is this... What can i do? It's been 3 weeks since this
is this plugged into a computer?
also which rom/kernel are you using?
*edit: on a custom rom such as pac, it will show this battery icon when off and plugged into a wall/usb port on a computer. it will never show a "filled" icon. try unplugging it and turning it on.

This happens to me. Usually, if you plug it in and out repeatedly it finally works. It's best if you turn it on fully and THEN plug it (unless it's dead completely).
When you say "all I get is this", do you mean that the player does now start when unplugged?
You could try removing the battery, pressing the power button a few times and putting the battery back in.

HELP can't charge via micro USB cable!!!

Hey! ?
Yesterday something weird happened.
I was charging my z2 with the magnet cable but it was kinda slow so i changed it to the normal usb cable. Suddenly the Phone stopped charging fluently! It charges for a second and then it doesnt for a few seconds! The magnet cable still charges. I tried 3 different usb cables and two differend wall chargers but it didnt solve my problem. I plugged in my USB Stick via OTG and this worked just fine!!!! Why the f cant i charge with the normal cable?!?! I have already calibrated the battery and wiped cache and dalvik but nothing solved my issue!

Mate 10 black screen

My Huawei mate 10 has been working like a champ for over 1.5 years. Since yesterday, the phone screen dies off after using it for about an hour.
All other functions of the phone seem to be working. It rings when I call it.
Then after trying hard reset for several times (around 15) it restarts and works fine for about an hour and again has the same issue. When I Hard reset it, the phone lcd lights up but it's blank for the few hard resets and then the phone restarts normally.
I cleared cache and it didn't seem to help. I ran diagnostics on Hicare and all tests were showing no issues.
I factory reset the phone and it didn't work. When connected to the computer it runs hisuite automatically and can detect files on the device as well.
Is anyone else facing this issue?
Any help is appreciated.
