Hi
To set IMEI back using simple method follow th steps given below.
1. write *#*#3646633#*#* on your Dial pad. then an Engineer mode will ope.
2. Go to
Connectivity > CDS Information > Radio Information
3. For IMEI 1 select phone 1
Foe IMEI 2 select phone 2
4. In this window in irst line AT+ is already written,
just write E next to it, various commands will drop down,
5. If you selected phone 1, then select command AT+EGMR=1,7,""
If you selected phone 2, then select command AT+EGMR=1,10,""
6. write yor IMEI no. (you can find it on your mobile box or below battery) betwwen double inverted comma,
example. AT+EGMR=1,7,"911234567894567"
7. click on SEND AT COMMAND button,
8. Reboot your phone.
9. Check your IMEI using *#06# number on dial pad.
If your engineer mode is not opened, then go to settings > Apps.
then select all apps and open engineer mode.apk app
uninstall updates, and again try above steps.
If you are unable to do so try this one
MtkDroidTools 2.4.7 it will help you replace IMEI number

I tried almost all the methods those are available except for one, that is SN_Station as my lappy is not accepting adb driver but none of the method helped me. Finally I went to Service center and I got my Motherboard replaced and now everything is working fine. I might have to write my wifi mac address using SN_Station and every time I flash new ROM I got a new wifi network named NVRAM Warning err 0x10, Though for now I have rectified my problem using this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2197378
But I would write my wifi MAC address using SN_Station as my mac address changes every time I flash new ROM.
TUTORIAL FIX IMEI ON XIAOMI WITHOUT ROOT AND LOCKED BOOTLOADER
Hi guys a few days ago I had a pretty big problem where my xiaomi mi 5s plus lost it's IMEI numbers, was not rooted and had a locked bootloader. Every time I tried to flash qcn with qpst it never restored my IMEI's. I couldn't find any tutorial online on how to fix this issue so I had to find my own. I decided to share the fix I have found with anyone that might need it. I hope this helps you
Things You Will Need:
• A Windows Computer
• Qualcomm drivers
• A Xiaomi Phone
• QPST
• A QCN for your phone
• HxD
• IMEI Converter
ANY FILES YOU NEED CAN BE DOWNLOADED BELOW
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Download the Qualcomm drivers from the link below and install them onto your PC
STEP 2: Download and install QPST onto your PC
STEP 3: Open up the Diagnostics Port on your phone, this can be done by opening the phone app and typing in *#*#717717#*#*
STEP 4: Open the directory in which you installed QPST (Usually this is C:\Program Files (x86)\Qualcomm\QPST\bin) Inside that folder open QPSTConfig.exe and connect your phone to your PC, make sure that you opened the Diagnostics port on your phone and that it is visible in Device Manager as a diagnostics port.
STEP 5: If you see your phone listed in QPSTConfig click on start clients and then on software download. From there click Backup and Backup your EFS. Please do this as I am not responsible if you loose your MEID or Baseband. Even though all that comes back with the qcn it's nice to have a backup
STEP 6: Now this is the part that I didn't do at first and therefore my phone couldn't restore the IMEI. You have to wipe your current EFS because it might be corrupted. Here is how you do that. Open the phone app and type in *#*#25327337#*#*
Then your phone should reboot and wipe your current EFS.
STEP 7: Now install HxD and open the qcn file you downloaded using HxD search for 088a click on all and set it to hex. This will bring you to the first IMEI that you need to change into your own. Go into IMEI converter, put in your IMEI and click convert. Replace the IMEI in HxD with the converted one. Then click f3 or search again and it should show you the second IMEI you need to change in HxD. Put your second IMEI into IMEI converter and repeat the process. Once that is done save the QCN file.
STEP 7: Once this is completed connect your phone to your pc and go back into QPST software download instead of Backup click restore. Then select your edited QCN file. After that click on start and your phone should start restoring the QCN file.
STEP 8: After the restore is done reboot your phone and congratulate yourself because you have just restored your IMEI. If you did everything correctly your IMEI should show up if you type *#06# into the phone app.
Problems you can run into and how to fix them:
Sometimes when you enable diagnostics port on your phone it doesn't show up on your PC. If this happens go into device manager and check if your drivers are installed and if your phone is seen. If not try disable and enable Diagnostics port on your phone again.
Sometimes after your phone reboots you need to turn diagnostics port on and off to make it noticed by your PC.

You can reflash using EDL mode
Hey I have a redmi 5 plus that somehow the imeis are shown as 0. I am trying to restore the imei numbers but every method failed so far since the device is rooted and bootloader is locked.
For more details you can check here :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5/help/lost-imeis-fixing-bootloop-t3881055
I am trying the method mentioned here even though the devices are different, but no luck so far as the phone keeps appearing and disappearing in or changing names in qpst.
But it seems stable in device manager. And I also cannot root or unlock because there is no xiaomi account bound to the phone, and I cannot bind one because of lost imeis.
Do you guys have any advice?
Thanks.
It would be so good of any one of you to help me for this problem;
Recently, using SP Flash Tool, I accidentally chose the "Format All + Download" option when flashing a ROM to my Lenovo A850. I managed to flash the ROM but the biggest failure is, I cannot call and use data connection. I also have an error called "NVRAM Warning: Err 0x10" at the Wi-Fi section. At my notification bar, it shows "Invalid IMEI".
My phone is Dual SIM.
I somehow managed to fix my lost IMEIs by entering EngineerMode. After fixing and rebooting my phone, my notification bar showed "Emergency Calls Only" but I placed a working SIM in my phone. I still could not call and use data. I am sure that I lost many important things (MAC Address, IMEI, NVRAM, etc.) when I formatted my phone using SP Flash Tool.
I am clueless on how to fix this problem. I don't know what I should do. I just want my phone to be able to call. If not my Lenovo A850 is useless. I am so frustrated now and I am so scared.
If any one of you are able to help me, PLEASE NEVER HESITATE TO HELP ME. This issue is so serious that it doesn't let me to have a peace of mind.
PLEASE I BEG YOU DON'T IGNORE THIS PLEASE!!! Thank You for your kind attention!
Hi !
In order to fix the "Invalid IMEI", you have to :
Dial *#*#3646633#*#* then go to "Connectivity -> CDS Information" then click on "Radio information" then if your phone is dual SIM, press Phone 1.
In the textbox with writen "AT+" click on it then select AT+EGMR=1,7,"" and between the quotes, write your IMEI 1 number.
If you have an error "This command is not allowed in UserBuild", simply add a space between EGMR and AT+.
It will look like that : AT+EGMR=1,7,"YOUR IMEI HERE"
And for the NVRAM error, simply follow this guide : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730486
Have a good day !

Hi. Thanks for your help. I fixed NVRAM and IMEI. But still, I cannot call and use data even after I fix IMEI and NVRAM. The notification bar shows "Emergency Calls Only". I have inserted a working SIM Card but it is not being detected.
How will I get my phone to call?
Thank You very much!

Hi to fix that correctly , first root your device but fbefore that enable USB Debugging :
1. You can use KingRoot.apk , this one work for me if it doesn't work for you search for iroot.apk or frama-root.apk or some other.
https://kingroot.en.uptodown.com/android
2. Download SN Write tool ( we will use to put our Original imei number ).
https://snwritetool.com/download/sn-write-tool-v1-1752
3. Download MTK droid tool 2.5.3 (we need for restoring nvram backup) .
https://androidmtk.com/download-mtk-droid-tool
4. Download nvram backup for your device A850
https://mega.nz/#F!CQ1jjZSb!3wlZPapiIuRTuiqVWt4jKg
5. adbd Insecure v2.00 (install app just in case if your device is not recognized in MTK droid tool)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=1687590
7. BusyBox.apk (install app just in case if your device is not recognized in MTK droid tool)
https://busybox.en.uptodown.com/android
Once you do that run adbd Insecure v2.00 app and check enable insecure adb now connect your phone on pc and run MTK droid tool , if is your device recognised press root to grant SU rights for root shell and click on OK.
now click on IMEI /NVRAM now click just on Restore choose nvram file which you downloaded put .bin file .tar file ignore and click on Reboot.
Now it should be working again .
To restore your Original imei , run SN Write tool go to System config check IMEI and check IMEI dual if your phone support dual sim and now load:
Modem DB and AP DB from data base folder which you can find inside your stock firmware make sure you don't make mistake by puting AP on MD1_DB or Modem DB on AP_DB click on Save now click on START , now you will see popup , write there your original IMEI 15 digits numbers click OK , take out the battery from your phone and put back now plug your device .
Once the process is finish you will See PASS your device will reboot and when is finish just exit from SN writter tool .
Follow this video if is easy for you :

Hi all,
I just wanted to share what I did when I had a few problems with my Lenovo K6 Note - karatep.
What did I do which ruined my phone?
I unlocked my bootloader, still on stock ROM, haven't installed TWRP yet.
Since then no calls on non-VoLTE network like Vodafone/Airtel/BSNL.
Primary SIM doesn't connect to any other network than 4G.
I had installed CM15.1 ROM with TWRP and Magisk root and I had the same network issues.
When should you follow this guide?
You have problems with network connectivity where you can't make calls on 3G or 2G network.
Primary (data) slot doesn't connect to 3G or 2G.
No signal on either one slot or both the slots.
IMEI shown as null or 0.
WiFi and Bluetooth address either different or shown as unavailable.
Rebooting to fastboot and performing "fastboot erase modemst1; fastboot erase modemst2" didn't work for you and lost your IMEI and/or WiFi and Bluetooth address.
Do not reboot to fastboot and execute "fastboot erase modemst1; fastboot erase modemst2". I lost my IMEI and MAC because of this.
Requirements:
1. Your phone needs to have root access.
2. Your original IMEI numbers and WiFi address, you can find them from your phone's packaging box.
If you don't have your IMEI, better use an IMEI from an old/dead phone of yours. Don't google this up, there can be blacklisted IMEIs.
Steps:
Preparing the .QCN file for restoration
Download and install UltraEdit (you can google up this for the link)
Download and install Qualcomm QPST/QFIL downloader (google it again)
Download IMEI Converter (find it in the attachments below)
Download .QCN file (find it in attachments, this is for Lenovo K6 Note - karatep)
Get your IMEI (for both the slots), WiFi and Bluetooth addresses
Open IMEI Converter and type your IMEI. You will get the hexcode for your IMEI, get the hexcode for both of your IMEIs. Copy the hexcodes.
Open the .QCN file with UltraEdit and search for "08 8A 11 11 11 11 11 11 11" (without the quotes). This is the dummy IMEI in the file, you have to replace it with your phone's IMEI.
In UltraEdit, goto find and replace, search for 08 8A 11 11 11 11 11 11 11 and replace it with your IMEI's hexcode. You have to replace the first hexcode with the hexcode for your second slot's IMEI and the second hexcode with the hexcode for your first slot's IMEI.
Search for AA AA AA AA AA AA and replace it with your WiFi MAC address, this has to update your Bluetooth address as well, there are four places where you have to replace it with your WiFi MAC address.
Save the .QCN file and close UltraEdit.
Enabling DIAG COM port on your phone to download .QCN to your phone
Execute in command prompt.
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb
Click to collapse
This will enable the diagnostic port on your phone.
Restoring .QCN to your phone
Open QFIL as administrator.
Connect your phone to your computer, keep your phone powered on with DIAG port enabled.
Goto Tools -> QCN Backup Restore
Browse your edited .QCN file
Don't change SPC code - leave it as such.
Select Enable Multi-SIM.
Click on Restore QCN.
This will take some time, once done, restart your phone.
Voila! Your IMEI, WiFi and Bluetooth addresses should be updated and network should be able to receive signal and place calls.
Please feel free to reach me if you run into any issues, I'll try my best to help you!
Thanks,
tfr!

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply, we have a bad network connection here due to the lockdown.
Coming to your problem, karatep simply refers to K6 Note, so you have done the right procedure hopefully.
Can you see the IMEI when you enter *#06# in the Dialer?
You're on stock ROM right? Where did you get it from? You did a full flash with QFIL or a ROM flash only? Please note that ROM flashes can be dirty.
If you can see your IMEI, please try the following in the order I've mentioned below.
1. Check the network settings and select the proper network type. Especially if you are on Jio, set it to LTE only, make sure that the non-Jio SIM is set to GSM only. This is the most common problem.
2. Perform a full system reset from recovery, must solve the problem usually.
3. Try lineage 15.1 or 16.0, you'll be able to find the links here, they are really stable and worth upgrading.
4. Full factory flash with QFIL, you should be able to find videos on YouTube, else let me know, I'll be happy to help!
Let me know the results.
Happy to help!

Thank you for the reply,
i do see my imei when i enter the code, Its the sn number that has been changed..
and about the stock rom part, I didn't do it by myself, i had given the phone to a repair shop earlier to fix the issue, this was before i flashed the QCN myself,
i flashed the qcn from a youtube video and all that guy had told was to have stock rom marshmallow, the repair shop had flashed a marshmallow rom so i figured it would do.. but i dont know what tool they used to flash it..
i used QFIL to flash the QCN though..
Let me try the factory reset solution and if that dont work i ll try to flash stock rom again...
for the other two,
1. The network settings are inaccessible for me(i tried to attach screenshots but its asking for URLs)
3. I really dont want to use lineage OS if i dont have to..
let me try the other solutions and i ll let you know..
thank you so much for helping me..

Hello,
You cannot do anything about the serial number, there is currently no way to restore it, it should not limit the functionality of the device.
Is your phone rooted now? Do you have TWRP installed? Try resetting the phone from TWRP. If it doesn't work, restore stock rom with QFIL. Restoring with QFIL will reprogram your eMMC chip and revert it to stock, TWRP will be removed. This will give you the cleanest possible install.
For flashing QCN, you don't need stock Marshmallow. I'm on Lineage 16.0 and I keep changing my MAC address with QFIL, that is not a problem at all.
I'd like to see the screenshots, you can add them as attachments... Use the paper clip icon above, else upload the image to Google Drive and put the URL here.

You don't have to root if you're flashing with QFIL.
How did you flash the QCN without root anyways?
Again, what network are you in?

i followed this youtube video..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-4tmWvTGiI
i remember reading about it somewhere.. you only need to enable diagnostic mode to flash QCN, and many phones require root to enable this port, and some other need root to unlock to bootloader..
but k53a48 phones have unlocked bootloader and diagnostic mode port can be enabled easily like the guy in the youtube video..
(power off and press power button and volume up till a screen comes on and then connecting the USB, the PC installs the diagnostic port..

i remember reading about it somewhere.. you only need to enable diagnostic mode to flash QCN, and many phones require root to enable this port, and some other need root to unlock to bootloader..
but k53a48 phones have unlocked bootloader and diagnostic mode port can be enabled easily like the guy in the youtube video..

It's correct that you have to enable only the diagnostic port to download QCN, but I'm not sure of the procedure that you describe here....
K6 Note doesn't come with an unlocked bootloader by default, you'll have to manually unlock.
I'm not sure of the technique that is shown in the video, the general procedure to open the diagnostic port is through adb. But if you are sure that the IMEI is flashed correctly, then there's nothing to worry about I guess.
Again, you're going to flash the S223 ROM using QFIL right?
Your network is fine, it's non-VoLTE, so calls should work if you have restored the QCN properly.
I m downloading the rom from a link in the description of a video..there were multiple stock files and i asked the youtuber and he told me download this one..
Lenovo_K6_Note_K53A48_K53_USR_S306_1709051329_Q00440_POLK_QPST
This is the one that i downloaded.. why are there so many stock files anyway? Is this right? Else
Would flashing stock using lenovo moto assistant application work?
Some people in xda had success using lenovo moto assistant..but the application asks for HW code and I cannot find my HW code from my sn number- HNB1GDX3 ,
No calls are not working, even ussd codes arent working..does that mean that even the qcn flash was done wrong ?:crying:

Hello,
The file seems to be correct. You should install QPST and use it to flash the ROM file.
Lenovo moto assistant might work, I had no success with that though.
The QCN that you used might be probably dirty, I'd suggest you to reflash with QPST and try burning the QCN again. Generate a new QCN before you do.
Sir, I Did custom ROM flash for lenovo K6 note, with twrp and lineage OS 16, after completion of ROM flash, although I have IMEI number, wifi MAC address in about phone section
My problems to FIX:
------------------------
1) Need Volte support(VOLTE not supporting for my JIO SIM)
2) *#06# IMEI code not working(IT shows "Connection problem or invalid MMI code." although the IMEI numbers are available in About phone category under settings)
3) In settings Bluetooth address "Unavailable"

Hey FayazD,
What you've mentioned seems to be a common problem and I couldn't really find a fix.
1). VoLTE doesn't seem to work. Before writing this post (restoring the baseband), no other calls except VoLTE ones worked for me. After restoring the baseband, 3G/2G calls work and VoLTE doesn't work. I'm not sure if there is a fix for that.
2). This could probably be an issue with the ROM itself. Try to flash a different ROM, I recommend AEX, which I'm currently using and is very stable.
3). The Bluetooth address issue again is something which I observed in Lineage 16. It shouldn't affect the functionality, except for the changing Bluetooth address on every reboot. Not sure if it is an issue with the ROM itself, try AEX, this issue isn't present there. Again note that the Bluetooth address could be shown as "Unavailable" when Bluetooth is turned off.
Will update if there is a solution for the VoLTE thingy.

In AEX the VOLTE will work or not, if you give me the assurance i'll flash with AEX
